Tai and his 5yr old son were at a burger restaurant. Tai smiled at his son as he watched him pour ketchup on his fries.

"So son, how are you enjoying your meal?"

"Its good"

He said happily as he at his fries one by one. Tai smiled.

"That's good. Um listen the reason why I brought you out here is because you know you will always come first, right?"

"Mhm"

He said as he looked up at his Dad taking notice that he was nervous.

"And you know its been 5yrs since your mom left me and I decided to go out and meet someone and I did"

"Is that why you keep having Aunty Kari to come and babysit?"

"Yeah that's partially it because I been seeing that special friend"

"Special? As in a best friend?"

He asked curiously. Tai chuckled.

"Um she's more than that, she's my girlfriend"

"So"

"So our relationship is getting serious and I would like you to meet her, is that okay?"

Tai jr frown.

"I don't know. Is she nice?"

"Very nice"

"I guess so"

He answered lowly as he looked at his half eaten burger. Tai notice his son's face expression and gently smiled at him as he placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Hey listen buddy if you don't feel comfortable about this then you don't have to meet her"

"Its not that but what if mom gets mad when she's sees you with another girl?"

He asked looking back at his father. Tai let out a sigh.

"I know but when that happens then I will deal with it"

"But..."

"Tai, you are too young to worry about something like that"

"But I just want us to be a family again"

He said sadly. Tai gave his son a hug.

"We're still a family as long as we have a each other"

"What if your girlfriend don't like me? What if she tries to push me away?"

He asked fearfully looking at his father with teary eyes.

"That's never gonna happen because I won't let it. Now come on this is suppose to be a special day, so no tears okay"

He said as he wiped away his son's tears from his face. Tai jr smiled happily at his father, as he looked ta his plate and continued to eat his food. Just then a lady with blonde hair and green eyes came to their table. Tai smiled as he stood up and kissed the lady on her lips. They happily hugged each other. Tai jr notice the lady and saw the interaction between her and his father.

"Paige this is my son Tai jr. Tai this is my girlfriend Paige"

Paige happily smiled at the small child.

"Hi. Your father told me a lot about you. Oh and here, I got you a little something"

She said as she took out a gift box present from her purse and handed it to Tai Jr who happily grabbed it.

"Now what do you say?"

Tai said to his son. Tai Jr looked to Paige.

"Thank you"

Paige smiled as she looked at Tai who smiled at her.

"Join us"

He said as he opened a chair for Paige in which she happily took and sat down across from them. Tai Jr opened the gift and frown.

"What is this?"

He asked with a raised eye brow looking at the Key in his hand. Paige was about to answer but Tai Jr threw the key.

"I don't want that"

He said with a pout crossing his arms over his chest. Tai frown at his son.

"Tai apologize to Paige..."

But Paige gently smiled as she covered the hurt with a smile.

"Its okay"

She said softly. Tai sadly looked to his girlfriend.

"I'm sorry about that"

"Its fine"

After the trio finished eating, they walked towards the park with Tai Jr running just ahead of them and ran to the swings.

"Dad can you push me? I want to reach the sky"

He said. Tai and Paige walked towards the swing. As Tai Jr got settled into the swing, Tai gently began to push the swing while at the same time talking with Paige.

"Hey so I was thinking if you would like to come over tomorrow night for a family dinner"

"Sure that sounds lovely"

"Dad!! Higher!!"

Tai Jr yelled out cutting Tai and Paige's conversation off. Tai looked to his son.

"Okay just hold on tight"

"Okay"

He yelled happily as he went higher. Paige went and sat on a swing and gently sway herself watching her boyfriend interact with his son. After a while, Tai Jr wanted to get off so he can play on the slide. Tai went and sat on another swing beside Paige.

"So what do you think about my kid?"

He asked with a grin. Paige looked at him with a smile.

"He sure is quite an adventure. He knows what he wants but I don't know I feel like he's kind of pushing me away"

"Don't worry, he'll get used to you"

Tai said as he stood up and nuzzled into the crook of her neck giving her a light kiss on the neck for gently began to bite causing her to moan.

"Mmmmm Tai as much as I love to show you how much I love you we can't we are still in public"

She said holding back a moan. Tai smirk and gently went to her ear and whispered.

"Don't worry on our way over here, I saw a nice big bush that can block everyone from our view"

He said huskily. Paige pulled away with a smirk.

"You are a father during the day but at night time you're my man"

She said pulling away getting up from the swing. Tai smirk and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind.

"You sure do know how to turn me on"

"Make sure you keep it in your pants big boy"

She said. Tai grinned as they slowly made their way to where Tai Jr was playing.
