"Hmmm let's see Granola Oil or Olive Oil?"

Tai asked himself. Tai and his son were currently at the super market shopping for groceries. Tai Jr was getting bored.

"Dad I'm bored"

He whined. Tai chuckled.

"Don't worry son we're almost done. We just need a few more from the list, okay"

He said as he pushed the cart with his son following close behind him. The toddler stopped to let out a yawn until he saw something that caught his eye. He smiled as he saw it was a candy section, he happily ran and grabbed the chocolate bar. He turned around and was about to run after his Dad but froze when he didn't see him. Tai Jr began to get a bit nervous and dropped the candy bar and went through aile to see his father but the people were blocking his view. Tears began to gather in his eyes.

"Dad!!"

He yelled but it was too loud in the market that his voice couldn't be heard. The toddler sadly frown.

'I'm lost'

He thought sadly. He then quickly got an idea.

"I know Dad probably finished shopping and is waiting for me out the front"

He said in comfort and quickly ran to the front of the store and frown when he didn't see his father. He began to panic and cry, the people simply ignored the crying toddler and continued on with their business. A security from the market began to walk towards Tai Jr. Jr saw the man and panic.

"Hey kid..."

But the security guard got cut off as Tai Jr began to run away from the man.

"Wait!"

He called out but Tai Jr continued to run, crying his heart out. He didn't know exactly where he was going but all he knew was that he needed to get away from that stranger. As he continued to run down the sidewalk passing the people from a far he notice a lady with blonde hair with red tips and green eyes. He quickly recognize who it was.

"Paige!!"

He yelled. Paige looked away from the window she was looking at and turned her head away when she heard her name, she gasp as she saw Tai Jr running to her crying. She quickly got down on her knees and opened her arms to him as he ran straight into her arms.

"Sh sh sh its okay, its okay. What's wrong? Is it your father?"

She asked concern as she gently pulled back. Tai Jr was sobbing as tears trailed down his face.

"I-I wanted a candy bar and when I turned around Dad was g-gone"

He continued to cry. Paige sadly smiled at the child.

"Its okay, I'll just call your Dad to tell him you are with me for we can know where to meet him"

She said as she pulled out her cellphone from her purse but frown when she heard the police car siren and stopped immediately in front of her. Paige scooped Tai Jr into her arms and carried him as the police officers stepped out of the car walking towards Paige.

"Can I help you officers?"

She asked.

"We have gotten reports of a lost child crying and they described him wearing the exact outfit that he is wearing. Is he your son ma'am?"

The officer asked.

"He's my boyfriend's son and I assure you officers that he's in good hands with me"

She said calmly. The officers nodded.

"Okay then ma'am please keep a close eye on him. Good day"

"Same to you officer"

She said as they went back to the car and drove away. Tai Jr was still in tears crying. Paige began to dial her boyfriend's number.

"Paige, I can't talk now. I'm looking for my son, he's missing and ...."

"I know, I know he's right here with me"

She said cutting him off.

"What?!"

He yelled

"He was the one that actually found me"

"Oh thank God. Where are you?"

"Meet me at the ice cream parlor. I'm taking the little guy out for an ice cream to cheer him up"

"Okay thanks. Can I talk to him?"

"Sure. Here you go"

She said handing the cell phone to the toddler.

"Dad?"

"Tai, are you okay? Why did you walked away from me? Are you hurt?"

"I wanted a chocolate bar and when I turned around you were gone and no I'm not hurt."

"Okay I'll see you real soon okay just stay with Paige and don't go anywhere else"

"Okay Dad"

Tai Jr said handing the phone back to Paige after hanging up. Paige smiled at him as she saw he wiped away his tears looking a little better.

"There you see everything is going to be okay. Wanna get some ice cream?"

She asked. Tai Jr happily nodded. Paige bend down to put him down but he wouldn't let go of her neck.

"Um Tai?"

She asked confused.

"No don't let me go"

He said in fear. Paige smiled and stood back up carrying him.

"Okay then, let's go"

*15 minutes later*

Paige and Tai Jr were sitting on the booth at the ice cream parlor, eating their ice cream and talking. Just then the sound of the jingle from the door notify that a new customer came in.

"There you guys are"

Said the voice. Paige and Tai Jr turned around and smiled as they saw it was Tai.

"Dad!"

Tai Jr yelled happily as he jumped off his seat and ran to his father who put the market bags down and wrapped his arms around his son.

"Oh Tai I don't know what I would do if something bad was to ever happen to you"

He said seriously.

"I'm sorry Dad"

The toddler said hugging his father tightly. Tai opened his eyes and looked to Paige who was happily smiling.

"Thank you Paige so much"

"It was no problem. You need help with the bags?"

She asked as she got off her seat. Tai pulled back from the hug and petted his son on the head.

"Thanks for the offer but the bags are kind of heavy"

He said as he carried the bags once more.

"Do you want to come over?"

He asked. Paige smiled and nodded.

"Sure"

She said. Paige and Tai were surprised when Tai Jr stretched out his arms to Paige for to signal he wants to be carried. Paige smiled and happily lifted him up on her arms as she walked beside Tai as they went back to the Kamiya's home.
