Tai let out a whistle as he unlocked the door to his apartment, setting down his belongings and coat. He headed towards the kitchen and was surprise to see Paige sitting on the counter with her legs pulled up to her chest along with Agumon. She sheepishly smiled at him.

"Hi honey"

Tai frown with a chuckle.

"What's wrong?"

"There's a rat"

With that said Tai quickly took a look around and saw it ran by his feet, he quickly jumped on the counter with them.

"Tai you're suppose to be a man, kill it"

Paige said trying to get him off.

"Didn't you see how fast that thing was going?!"

Tai yelled.

"Where did it go?"

"I don't know, it was too fast. Wait where's Tai?"

"In his room"

"Look there it goes again!"

"I can get it! Pepper Breathe!"

Agumon shouted as he tried to aim it at the rat and missed, instead it hit the lamp.

"Aahh!! Don't scare me!"

She yelled.

*Tai Jr's Bedroom*

Tai Jr let out a disappointed sigh as he was sitting in bed and had a remote control in his hand moving it around while looking at the floor.

"Come on, where is it"

He said to himself. He then heard commotion coming from outside his bedroom. Curiously he stepped out to see Agumon, his Mom and Dad on the countertop.

"What are you guys doing?"

He asked tilting his head to the side.

"Tai, um honey, go back to your room"

Paige said.

"What's wrong?"

He asked worriedly.

"Um nothing"

She said trying to stay calm as to not try to get him scared him.

"Oh. Well anyways, have you seen my toy?"

"No, have you checked your room?"

"I did but I can't find it anywhere"

He said with a sigh as he headed back to the room, closing the door behind him. He sat back on the bed and began moving his joystick around to try and see if his toy comes out but nothing instead he would only hear his parents yell and Agumon yelling out his attack.

"Hmmm that's weird"

He said as he notice a pattern every time he moves his joystick around his parents would scream and when he stops his parents would stop. He then came back out and moved his joystick around and gasp in joy as he saw his toy rat moving.

"There you are!"

He said happily as he grabbed the fake rat and headed back to his room, leaving Tai and Paige in shock.

"Are you kidding me? It was a toy, the whole time! And you didn't want to check!"

Paige yelled. Tai chuckled as he sweat drop as Paige smack him on his arm.

"What about Agumon?"

"I was only trying to help"

Agumon said in defense.

"But how can you miss it?"

Tai argued.

"Enough!"

Paige yelled to stop the pointless argument as she got off the counter along with Tai and Agumon.

"The point is that there's no rat, okay"

"Okay"

Tai and Agumon agreed.

*Dinner Time*

The small family gather together around the table to eat. Paige had prepare spaghetti and meatballs with garlic. They were all talking about their day.

"This one kid in my class had put a tack on the teacher's chair and she sat down"

Tai jr said in amazement.

"That's not very nice"

Agumon said.

"But this is the best part, the teacher remain sitting on her chair for 14 minutes sitting on a tack"

"Really? And she didn't feel it?"

Paige said as she grab a garlic bread.

"Uh huh, but soon the teacher felt it after a while"

"So then what happened to your classmate?"

Tai asked taking a sip of his drink.

"He got detention and then after the detention, he got suspended for a few days"

"Well now you know, never to play mean pranks on the teacher or anybody for that matter"

Paige said as she was about to take a bit of her meat ball she saw a black fuzz walking. She looked to see it was a tarantula walking on their dinner table. It also caught the eye of everyone.

"Tai Jr, what have we told you about playing with your toys on the dinner table"

Tai said sternly to his son. Tai Jr looked to his father and shook his head.

"It's not one of my toys, I have a remote control rat but not a tarantula"

Paige froze as she nervously looked to the spider crawling on her plate.

"So...this...is...real?"

She asked before screaming.

"I got it! Pepper Breathe!"

Agumon yelled throwing a ball of flame in front of Paige, destroying the table. Tai, Tai Jr and Paige quickly stood up and backed away.

"Did I get it this time?"

He asked. Tai took a look around seeing no sign of the spider. He turn around to face his wife and kid who were looking at him nervously.

"What's wrong?"

He asked.

"B-behind you"

Paige said shivering. Tai frown and came face to face with Agumon.

"Don't move Tai!"

"Wait! Agumon don't!!"

*Moments Later*

"Okay tell me again, how did that spider came inside our apartment?"

Tai asked coming out of the bathroom after taking a shower. He was rubbing the towel over his head. Paige smiled as she was sitting on the edge of the bed.

"The neighbors from across. Apparently their son constantly forgets to close the cage and the tarantula just comes out. The good thing Agumon didn't kill it"

"Yeah most of the blast hit me instead"

He said nonchalantly. Paige giggled.

"Why do you hate bugs?"

She asked curiously. Tai sat down beside her.

"Let's just say I had a bad experience at my first time being at the digital world"

"Let me guess, Kuwagamon"

She said knowingly.

"How did you know?"

Paige smiled sheepishly as she held her digi-vice causing Tai's jaw to drop.

"But how?"

"Agumon actually took me to the digital world one day and it turned out, I had a partner waiting for me for a very long time"

Tai couldn't help but smile.

"What are the chances?"
