"Hey Tai"

Yelled a kid around the same age as Tai Jr. It was after school and he was walking back home when his friend called out for him.

"Oh, hey Jake"

"So I heard you are gonna have a new baby coming around"

He said once he caught up to Tai.

"Yeah that's true. I'm honestly excited for it"

He said happily.

"Aren't you worried?"

Jake asked.

"Why should I be worried?"

Tai asked back.

"Dude, don't you know once a new baby comes in, your parents are going to forget all about you"

"That's not going to happen"

"Is so, their attention will always go to the baby, that means you will be invisible, no one won't care about you"

"But I'm going to be a big brother"

"That just makes things a lot worse"

"How so?"

"Because then everything will be your fault. If the baby cries it will be your fault, if the baby falls it will be your fault because you will need to keep a better eye on the baby if not then out you go"

Tai slightly frown in concern.

"You really think so?"

"I know so. The exact same thing happen to this one kid I used to know but then he dropped out of school because he ran away"

"Is a baby really going to make a big change to the family?"

"Oh yeah, and the worst part is, they are going to give your room to the baby"

"But I..."

"I'm just looking out for you, because your my friend. Oh well, see ya tomorrow Tai"

Jake said as he ran off to another direction. Tai remained still from his spot as he thought about the words.

'I didn't think about all of that'

He thought worriedly. Tai shook his head as he headed straight home. He slowly opened the door as he saw his Mom and Dad sitting on the couch going through baby names. He sadly closed his eyes as he made his way to his room but he was obviously spotted by his Dad.

"Hey son, how was school?"

He asked.

"Fine"

He said quietly.

"Want some lunch?"

His Mom asked.

"Later"

He said softly. Paige and Tai looked to each other in surprise. Tai looked back to his son in concern.

"Is everything okay?"

"Okay"

"Okaaay, can you say why?"

"Why"

"No, I didn't mean..."

Paige let out a giggle as she interrupted their conversation.

"What your Dad means is that, you usually use more than one syllable"

"I got homework to do"

He said quietly before he entered his room and closing the door behind him. Paige and Tai looked to each other in concern as Agumon stepped out of the kitchen with a large sandwich.

"Is it just me or is little Tai acting strange?"

He asked looking to the couple.

"I'll go talk to him"

Tai said as he was about to stand but Agumon beat him to it.

"Let me try"

He said leaving his sandwich at the table before gently opening the door to Tai Jr's room.

"Knock knock"

He said as he peek inside to see Tai Jr sadly tinkering with his toy train.

"What's wrong?"

He asked closing the door behind him.

"Nothing is wrong"

Tai Jr said with a sad sigh.

"You know you can always talk to me"

Agumon said in reassurance as he went to sit on the bed and waited for Tai Jr to speak.

"It's just....what if the baby changes everything"

"What do you mean? What changes?"

"What if my parents won't love me anymore? What if all their attention only goes to the baby and they forget about me? What if the baby gets sick and Mom and Dad will blame me? What if I'll have to move out of my room or worse kick me out of the house"

He said with a small sniffle causing Agumon to softly smile.

"Oh Tai"

He said as he hop off the bed and embrace Tai Jr.

"You know I had the same fear when you were born"

"You did?"

"Mhmm but then your Dad reassured me that he will always will be there for me even when I need him the most"

"But what if my Dad breaks his promise?"

"The only way to reassure yourself is by asking him yourself. Come on, let's go talk to your Mom and Dad I'm sure they are worried about you"

"You think so?"

"Of course, when you come home you are usually excited and hungry but this time you hardly said anything and you weren't hungry"

He explained as he leaded Tai Jr back to where Tai and Paige were going through baby magazines.

"I like this crib"

Paige pointed out showing it to Tai. Tai look and slightly frown as he pointed to another crib.

"I like this price"

He pointed out causing his wife to slightly glare at him playfully. The sound of someone clearing up their throat caused Tai and Paige to look behind them and saw their son and Agumon.

"Hey is everything okay?"

Tai asked.

"Actually there is something Tai Jr would like to tell you and Paige. Go on"

Agumon said pushing Tai Jr towards the two couple.

"What is it sweetheart?"

Paige asked kindly.

"Um...will you and Dad still love when the baby arrives?"

He asked.

"Of course we will"

Paige said lovingly. Tai carried his son, sitting him in between him and Paige.

"Where is this coming from?"

Tai asked seriously to his son.

"Tell them"

Agumon insisted as he sat beside his partner. Tai Jr swallow the lump in his throat as his eyes got watery with tears.

"Is there something you want to tell us?"

Paige asked worriedly. Tai Jr's bottom lip began to tremble as he cried and threw himself and his father and began to tell everything and about how he feels. Tai embraced his son as he waited for him to calm down before they can have a discussion as a family. Paige gently wipe away the tears of their son as he soon calm down.
