Scenes I'm writing
Whenever I'm trying to get an idea at how a scene should play out in my books, I usually just write them down and use them as reference for later. Here's some for you to see.
Bludgeon: Why do you bother fighting for these insects? Why?! Beings like us, we step over them without a care in the world! But you..you'd rather have yourself be one of them. You fight for them! You'd die for them! Why?
Dominic: I....
Bludgeon: WHY?!
Dominic: Because one of them sacrificed themselves for me! She gave her life so that I could live. And I wasted that life slowly becoming just like you. A monster obsessed with power. I thought that if I gained power that I could protect myself from the fear of being scared again. I used to think that if I sacrificed the world for them, that I could keep them safe. But now I see I was wrong. That I was a fool....I love them. They showed me so much about who I really am. They made me...human. Summer Rose gave her life so that I may live on by her example. To sacrifice yourself for the people who don't have the power to save themselves. I will be the hero for all of them...The hero that I never had.
Bludgeon: You waste your powers...These god-like abilities that you have....Because of a promise?!
Dominic: It's my mission. And anyone who stands in my way....is gonna be sorry. So stand aside Bludgeon.
Bludgeon: I trained you...I trained you to see through my eyes. So you could become the strongest warrior ever.
Dominic: I'm already strong. But my strength comes from so much more than my demonic heritage. It comes from my heart. My love. My love for them motivates me to grow stronger! To protect them! To be their knight! Like my father before me!

Dominic: Your qualms about power are a contradiction! Strength doesn't just lie in power. It lies within your strength of soul! And my soul is strong with a fire that will continue burning! Even if this is the day I die!
Bludgeon: You're a hypocrite! Your very actions contradict you! What you are..! What we both are! We're gods to these things!!
Dominic: You think I don't know that?! I don't care about what I am anymore! I won't stop until they're safe from beings like you! I'll prove to myself that I can be a better man! Better than who I once was! Better than you...I'll do whatever I can!
Bludgeon: Wake up, already! What you are, the humans will never understand what you're doing for them! They will only ever see you as a demon!
Dominic: *grunt* So what?!
Bludgeon: These humans won't change their views! They'll only slaughter each other until all of them are dead!
Dominic: You're wrong..!
Bludgeon: How long will you take punishment for them?! Do you honestly believe that they won't hate you for the demon that you are?!
Dominic: I don't care if they hate me! I'll do what I must for them and become nothing more than a legend to them. Just like my father....*sniffle* My father saw the beauty of this world through his own two eyes....And now I can finally see it. And all it took...was the love of a girl. Yang Xiao Long. I love her...She and my friends have brought the light I had buried deep inside of myself out once again. I'm finally..human.

Bludgeon: Before we do this, I want to ask you something, my dear boy.
Dante: What's that?
Bludgeon: Do they all know what happened to Dominic?
Dante: Know...what?
Bludgeon: That you left him to die~

Bludgeon: Your father was a fool as well. He allowed sentiment to cloud his judgement and he paid the ultimate price for it.
Dominic: My father was a hero. He fought for what was right. He stood up against tyranny and oppression. Just like I'm doing now. And I will continue to fight until there is no evil left in this world.
Bludgeon: You're wasting your time. You'll never rid the world of evil. It's a part of human nature.
Dominic: Maybe so. But that doesn't mean I shouldn't try. I'll fight for a better future. A future where everyone can live in harmony and peace.
Bludgeon: You're just naïve. You'll never accomplish anything.
Dominic: Call me what you want. But I'll continue to fight. I'll fight for them. For the innocent. For the powerless. For the ones who need a hero. And if that makes me naïve, then so be it.

Bludgeon: You're a fool, Dominic. A fool driven by false hope. You can't save them all. You'll only end up destroying yourself in the process.
Dominic: I know that I am a fool. But I'd rather be a fool who tries than someone like you who doesn't care at all. Their lives matter. Their happiness matters. And if I can make even a small difference in their world, then it is worth it.
Bludgeon: You're in for a rude awakening, Dominic. The world doesn't work that way. You can't protect them from everything.
Dominic: Maybe not. But I won't stop trying. I won't stop fighting for what I believe in. I will face the darkness head-on, even if it consumes me. Because I refuse to let fear dictate my actions. I choose love and compassion, even in the face of despair.
Bludgeon: You'll regret this, Dominic. Mark my words.
Dominic: Perhaps I will. But at least I'll be able to live with myself, knowing that I did everything I could for those who needed it the most. And that, Bludgeon, is a legacy worth fighting for.

Bludgeon: Human? You call yourself human while you continue to fight and sacrifice for these beings? Humans are flawed, weak, and selfish. You are no longer one of them.
Dominic: Maybe I'm not the perfect embodiment of humanity, but that doesn't mean I can't strive to be better. I may have powers beyond their comprehension, but I choose to use them for good. I choose to protect and save lives, even if it means being labeled a demon. I refuse to let fear and hatred define who I am.
Bludgeon: And what about the love you mentioned? Do you really believe that a girl's love and your friends' support can change everything? Love is a weakness, Dominic. It clouds your judgment and makes you vulnerable.
Dominic: Love is not a weakness, Bludgeon. It's what makes us human. It gives us the strength to go on, to fight for what we believe in. It fuels our determination and empowers us to overcome any obstacle. Yang Xiao Long showed me that love can bring out the best in us, that it can bring light into even the darkest of hearts.
Bludgeon: You speak of idealism and hope, but reality is harsh. The world will continue to reject you, no matter how much good you try to do. You'll always be an outsider.
Dominic: Maybe I will always be an outsider, but that doesn't mean I can't make a difference. I may never be fully accepted by humans, but I can still protect them. I can still be a symbol of hope and inspire others to stand against darkness. That's what being human means to me.
Bludgeon: You're a fool, Dominic. You'll see that your efforts are in vain.
Dominic: Even if I fail, even if I die fighting, I will do so with the knowledge that I gave everything I had to protect those who needed help. That's all I can ask for. That's what being human is all about.
________________________________________
Bludgeon: *laughs* Human? You truly believe that, don't you? You may have some emotions, but deep down, you're still a monster, Dominic. A creature born out of darkness and chaos.
Dominic: No, Bludgeon. I refuse to accept that. I have changed, and I will continue to change. My past doesn't define me. It's the choices I make now that matter.
Bludgeon: Choices? And what choices have you made, Dominic? Protecting these fragile humans, putting their lives above everything else?
Dominic: Yes! Because their lives matter. They deserve a chance to live in a world without fear and oppression. I may be powerful, but that power is meaningless if I don't use it for something good.
Bludgeon: Good? What a naïve notion. Good and evil, light and dark, they are all just constructs created by weak-minded beings like these humans. They are insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
Dominic: No, they are not insignificant. Each life has value, each person has the potential for greatness. It's my duty to protect that potential, even if it means sacrificing myself.
Bludgeon: Sacrificing yourself? And do you think they will appreciate it? They will only resent you, fear you, and eventually destroy you.
Dominic: Maybe. But I have faith that there is goodness in them, that they can change. And if they don't, if I die fighting for what I believe in, then at least I will die knowing I tried.
Bludgeon: Foolishness. You will see, Dominic. You will see the futility of your actions and the true nature of these humans. But it will be too late.
Dominic: We shall see, Bludgeon. We shall see.
Some of these are variations of scenes I'm writing. Just experimenting with dialogue here and there before I finalize my work. Tell me what you think!
