As the party rages on, there was a knock at the door that Vincent answers. He then calls out to Dominic, saying it was for him.

Vincent: Father! Someone wants to see you!

Dominic:*walks up* Vincent, what are you doing-?

Dominic stops dead in his tracks when he sees who was standing there in the doorway of his home holding something behind their back.

Dominic: Big Boss?

Big Boss slowly pulls out an assault rifle to which Dominic runs up to him with Mirage Edge in his hand. The legendary soldier then drops his gun and catches Dominic's arm and twists his wrist, disarming him, before flipping him over his shoulder.

Dominic lands on the floor with a thud but gets back up immediately to fight Big Boss in CQC. The battle was short lived however, as Big boss elbows Dominic in the face and wraps his arms around him in a hug.

Big Boss: I'm not here to fight. I'm sorry it took me so long to find you. I never stopped looking for you, my boy.

Big Boss looks at Dominic and smiles at him

Big Boss: You've grown...

Dominic: Boss, I-

Big Boss: It's not Big Boss anymore. The age of patriots is long gone. Now, I'm just an old soldier named Jack.

Dominic: I...

Vincent: Are you my dads friend?

Big Boss looks down at Vincent and gives him a warm smile as he kneels down to his height.

Big Boss: Yes, I am. What's your name?

Vincent: Vincent Rose.

Big Boss: A handsome name.

He rubs Vincent's head softly as a tear falls down his one good eye.

Big Boss: I helped your father become the man he was today. I raised him somewhat. Guess that makes me your grandfather.

Vincent: Grandfather? Grandfather Jack?

Big Boss:*chuckles* Please, call me grandpa.

Vincent smiles at Big Boss who smiled back. Dominic looks at the two with a look of shock but it quickly turns into a look of pride as he sees his father figure meet his grandchild. Today was a good birthday.

Nero: Yo, old man! Moms asking for you, and- Who's the fossil?

Big Boss: Another son?

Dominic: Ahem! Y-Yeah. You're gonna want to sit down for this.
