In the snowy mountains of Old Russia, Sasha, Adora and Yang were riding a gondola over a large chasm to get to their destination, Felwinter Peak.

Yang:*long sigh* This is so boooring~! When are we gonna fight some darkness!

Adora: Well that depends on what kind of darkness we fight. There's the Hive, Fallen, Cabal, Lucent Hive, Cabal Loyalists, Vex not to mention the diffent kind of Vex and there's also-

Sasha: I think she gets it Adora.

Adora: Oh-right!*blush* Sorry~

Yang: I'm just saying! Why do we need training when we already know how to shoot a gun and throw a grenade!

Sasha: Because there's more to fighting than your fists! Is swear is the weight of your tits slowing down the oxygen to your brain because their so heavy?

Yang: Hey!! I'll show you heavy!

Adora: Guys stop fighting! This thing was falling apart before we got on it! And I don't want to have to climb a mountain before we train!

A small twinkle of light shines in the distance but it goes unnoticed by the three Titans. What doesn't go unnoticed is the missile that flies past them and impacts a mountain near them

Yang: WHOA!!

Sasha: What the hell was that!? Who's shooting at us!!

Adora: INCOMING!!

More rockets flew towards them and within a second, Adora extended her arms and surrounded her and her friends in a dome of purple energy that defended them from the rockets

Yang: Whoa! Nice timing Adora!

Adora:*grunts* Shut up please! I can't--concentrate with you talking to me!!

Off in the distance, a man clad in heavy armor hums and puts the rocket launcher on his back

???: A mobile Bubble. Ingenious. Haha! This is going to be fun~

The man punches his fists together and runs across the mountain and he jumps off of it and onto the next one over and stops himself from going any further and he plants his feet into the ground and puts both arms at his sides and he took in a deep breath

???: Scatter Missiles!!

His chest splits open and inside of him was a payload of missiles that shot out towards the Bubble that was shielding the trio

Sasha: We got more incoming!!

Each missile that impacted the Bubble brought Adora closer and closer to her knees and the Bubble showed signs of getting weaker. Once the last missile hit, the Bubble was destroyed and Adora fainted from overwhelming herself

Sasha: Adora!

Yang: Look! We're there!

The gondola stops at a station and the three Titans quickly get off and make their way towards the gates in front of Felwinter Peak

Yang: Come on! Let us in!! There's a crazy guy out there shooting rockets!

Sasha: Hold her!

Sasha hands Adora to Yang and cracks her knuckles and punches the iron gate with all her strength but it doesn't move

Yang: Let me try!

Setting down Adora, Yang brings her fist back and charges at the gate and punches it but it stood strong against her fist

Yang: Dammit! How are we gonna get up there?

Sasha: Together. We have to work together.

Yang: Okay. Yeah, let's do it!

They cross arms and get ready to throw the strongest punch they could

Sasha: One....

Yang: Two...

Both: THREE!!

Both Titans smashed their fists into the iron gate and the force of their combined strength was so big that it blew the gate off its hinges and sent it falling hundreds of feet below

Yang:*short sigh* Yeah! I think we found the keys.

Sasha: Yep.

The sound of clapping drew their attention behind them and to their shock they saw who was going to teach them what he knows about being a Titan, Dak-13.

Dak: Excellent! Excellent! What is a Titan without his fire team?

Yang: Heh~! It was no big deal.

Dak: Yes yes but you did know the button to open the gate was right next to you, yes?

Dak points towards the obvious big red button next to one of the pillars that held the gate

Sasha: Oh come on Yang! How did you miss that!?

Yang: Me?! What about you! You didn't see it either!

Dak: Silence! Saladin will send you both the bill later. Now, we must work.

Up on the peak, Adora woke up inside the temple that was in the mountain of Felwinter Peak

Adora: Where...

Yang: You're awake.

Adora jumped at the sudden interruption of silence from Yang

Sasha: Haha! What? Did Blondie scare you?

Yang: We're all blonde jerk.

Sasha: Yeah but you're more like a California girl than the rest of us.

Yang: Oh shut up!

The two shared a laugh together as Dak walked up to the fire and put his hands behind him. Shutting up, the trio looks at the veteran guardian who would be teaching them everything he knew about what it meant to be a Titan

Dak: I have seen many battles, wars, death. We are not out of this war yet. For it is just beginning. New guardians are being born every day and it is my duty and others to train them to become the best versions of themselves that they can be. Remember guardians. We do not know the meaning of the word impossible.

Sasha: Alright.

Yang: Yo big guy! When do we get to bust some heads!

Dak: In due time little one. Hehe, you have a fire inside of you I can see it. I am here to help you control it. I saw what your friend did with that Bubble. Having it move with you on the gondala was very impressive. I have never even seen it done before in my life!

Yang: Wait..you fired those rockets!?

Dak: Yes. I...wanted to test how you would react.

Sasha: What if we died!!

Dak: Then you would climb the mountain of course. It was not my intention to show hostility towards you but I needed to know if you could react quick enough and it looks like one of you can. Excellent work my friend.

Adora: Oh? Th-thank you sir.

Dak: Please, call me Dak. None of this "sir" talk we are all guardians here yes? Now, any questions before we starts your training?

Sasha: Yeah. What is this place?

Dak: Ah, that is a good question. Sit sit. You've had a long day.

Dak motions to the floor and the two girls sat down near the fire as Dak rubbed his hands together and cleared his throat

Dak: Long ago, there were no guardians. We were known as Lightbearers and other such names. But the two that stood out the most were Warlords and Iron Lord's. The Warlords ruled over the ruins of the Old World. Most with an iron fist but those that sought to rule in peace came together and formed the Iron Lord's. Atop this mountain is where they made their base of operations. Named after the mighty Lord Felwinter. He was one of the original Iron Lord's.

Adora: How many Iron Lord's are there?

Dak held his head down and let out a deep sigh

Dak: There are...not many of us left my friend. Most of us died during an assault on...I'm sorry it's a very bad memory and I wish to not go into further detail.

Yang: That's fine. You don't have to tell us.

Dak: Спасибо my friend. Though we are not all gone. I myself am an Iron Lord as well as Shiro-4 outside. Even my fire team is full of honorary Iron Lord's. Though for Wren, he is what we call a "Young Wolf".

The girls snicker at the name and think about a baby wolf guardian and awe in it's cuteness

Dak: Yes yes it's adorable. But enough stories. Now it is time for learning. My friends I will teach you what it means to be...a Titan

Reaching into a pouch on his side, Dak grabs a handful of a strange dust and throws it into the fire and it burns brighter and a few embers rise up from the flames and begin to form a symbol. The sigil of the Titans

Dak: What does it mean to be a Titan? As a Titan, you are a part of the City - in a way no Warlock or Hunter could understand. The dream of the City rests upon our shoulders.

The three girls moved closer as Dak gave his speech

Dak: The first Titans built the Wall, and gave their lives to defend it. Now, you stand in the same high place, steadfast and sure, protecting all who shelter in your shadow. You hail from a long line of heroes, forged from strength and sacrifice. Our enemies may be deadly and merciless, but so are you.

Yang: Wow...so.. it's up to us to be the wall our allies stand behind.

Dak: Yes. Then there are those who take a different path outside our walls. Those who take up with leaders they barely understand. So it has ever been with the Sunbreakers.

Dak reaches his hand into the fire and he pulls out a flaming hammer and held it out in front of him proudly for the trio to awe

Dak: The hammer of Sol is a flame in the darkness. But fire burns without thought. It is time for you to take that fire within you and weild it to protect our home. To protect our allies in its warm glow throughout the long nights ahead.

Yang: Big. Flaming. Hammer. Yeah!! Now that's power!!

Sasha: That's so cool! When do we start? Is it now?

Adora: Does it burn whenever you hold it?

Dak: Patience my friends. Patience. In time you will wield this power and others. But now, we train your bodies and your will. Come. The others are here.

Leading his disciples outside, more ships hover on the outside of Felwinter Peak and the other guardians who were taken in by Dak's fire team stepped out and began greeting one another. Andromeda stood at the base of the steps of the temple and waved up at Dak who returned her gesture

Five minutes later they were all stood near the mountain as each teacher stood side by side with each other

Andromeda: You've all learned well.

Wren: But before you can wield the abilities we have been training you for..

Dak: You must pass a test.

Ruby: A test?! But I didn't study!!

Anne: Me neither! And I'm a warlock!!

Andromeda: Haha! Oh man that never gets old.

Wren: I think we should tally how many guardians say that.

Dak: My ghost Jericho has been keeping track for YEARS. Jericho. How many is it now?

Dak's ghost appears and looks around before speaking

Wren: Right. Ahem! Today your test is one where your resolve will be shown as you climb up Felwinter Peak.

Catra: That's it? Ha! You should have picked something a little more easier.

Andromeda: Oh you poor cat.

Blake: Is there something else?

Dak: We have...a few rules.

Andromeda: First rule! Take off your Stomp-EE5.

Marcy: What?! But they make me jump higher and hit cool trick shots!

Wren: Exactly! Next rule! No double jumping.

All the hunters groan and whine simultaneously

Wren: No gliding.

Then came the sounds of disappointment from the warlocks

Wren: And especially no hovering.

Yang shouted and punched the mountain sending a large pile of snow on everyone but outside of the small scare, they were fine.

Dak:*spits* Now then, you will spend all day, even all eternity getting up that mountain!

Weiss: And just where will you three be?

Andromeda: Up top waiting for you. Now don't take too long~ I hear a snowstorm is coming in in a bout...five minutes!

All: WHAT?!

Wren: Have fun~

The three teachers laugh as they all go up the mountain. Wren grabs Andromeda's hand and they fly up the side of the mountain as Dak uses the rocket boosters on his hands and feet to fly beside them

Yang: Well I'm not gonna let them get away with this! Who's with me?!

Anne: Yeah!!

Luz: Yeah!

Yang: Then let's goo!!!

The girls yell and begin their ascension up the mountain as Dak, Wren and Andromeda watch them from above

Wren: Oh this is gonna be some primo entertainment my friends.

Andromeda: Oh yeah~ I even brought marshmallows to make s'mores while we wait.

Dak: Bitchin'.

Now they wait as their students climb up the mountain, falling towards the bottom, dieing over and over again and cursing at the heavens as they restart from the bottom of the mountain

Andromeda: OOH~! Another one bites the dust!

Wren: Man they can't climb for shit!

Dak: Look they're stacking on top of each other! Haha!

Wren: Ahh memories~

Andromeda: Bad ones.

Dak: Yes yes very bad. I remember it took me three days of trying until I made it up this mountain.

Andromeda: Yeah and then you tricked me and I went all the way to the tippy top of the mountain.

Wren: Ha! How could you fall for that?

Andromeda: I don't know I was confused!

Ruby:*panting* MADE IT!!

Wren: Wow that was a new record.

Ruby: YEAH!! I AM THE BEST!!

Andromeda/Wren/Dak:*snickering*

Ruby: What? What's so funny?

Wren pulls out a sword and his face was going red under his helmet and he swung his sword and flew at Ruby at light speed and crashed into her and sent her flying off the edge of the mountain

Ruby: OH YOU MOTHER FUUUUUUU-!!!

All three guardians were on the floor laughing their helmets off

Andromeda: She-she-she-! She was so happy!

Dak: Oh my sides! I am a robot and my sides are hurting!

Wren: And then I just said "nah bitch bye!" HAHAHAA!!!

A good laugh is good during this time of war. It will be one of the few times our guardians can get to relax as the real war with the darkness is just on the horizon with new enemies, powers and questions
