Patch Island. Laid to waste. In the ruins a hand rises from the rubble and a girl claws her way out gasping for air. Ruby Rose. This was her home. Now it's destroyed.

Ruby:*panting*

She looks around for any survivors but was stopped when multiple figures landed on the rubble in front of her chuckling at the helpless girl

Frieza Elite: Oh look we left a survivor.

Frieza Elite: We can't have that can we? No sir we cannot.

Their leader holds out his hand and charges an energy attack bolts of fire were shot at them making them back up quickly

Frieza Elite: What the hell!?

???: I thought there was a foul stench!

A set of feet land in front of Ruby and the man who the voice belonged to crossed his arms and looked at the soldiers through his helmet visor

???: So you're the ones behind all this!

Frieza Elite:*chuckle* I gotta admit you caught us off guard. Our scouters didn't even pick you up.

Frieza Elite: Maybe it's cause he's too weak to even be detected!

The man looks around at the devastation and his hands clench into fists and the air begins to heat up around everyone

Frieza Elite: Oh look he's all mad~ Aww the hero wishes he could've done something~ Not like it would have made any difference with your power level.

???: AAAAHH!!

The man charged at the elites but they were too quick and they flew into the air and fired a volley of energy blasts at the man. The explosion from the blasts created a large cloud of dust and the man was thought to be dead by the elites

Frieza Elite:*spits* He wasn't so tough!

Suddenly the man appeared in front of the elite in a purple flash and spun in the air before hitting the elite with a powerful kick to the jaw that spun his head backwards, killing him almost instantly

The elites all fired a singular blast at the man but he overpowered them by exploding in a wave of purple light. He then began to radiate a bright yellow aura and the air swelled around the man before he shouted at the elites and a pair of wings made of fire exploded from his back. Raising his hand in the air, the man gathered the flames from the destroyed island to his palm and they formed a blazing sword

Frieza Elite: Stop gawking and kill him!!

The elites charged at the man and he swung his sword at one of them sending a wave of fire at them but they had dodged it but this gave the man time to fly up into the sky with the other elites following him. The man looks down seeing the elites were in hot pursuit of him and he brought his hand close to him gathering flames in his palm. He then thrusts his hand out and snapped his fingers, sending a torrent of fire at the elites.

One of the elites flew away from the flames but the other was not so lucky as the bright flames blinded him which caused his firey death

Frieza Elite: Bonzo! No!!

???: Your opponent is still here dumbass!!

The man flew at the elite at great speeds and raised his sword above his head when suddenly, his helmet received a call from someone. A female. Her voice came in through his helmet

???: Wren where have you been all day! We still have to scout this new world and I can't do it all by my-!

The man, now revealed to be named Wren, became distracted by his comrades sudden interference

Wren: Dammit Andromeda not now I'm-GUAAH!!

The elite took Wren's sudden distraction to clock him across the face, knocking his helmet off his head. He then grabs Wren from behind putting him in a lock while the other elite flew in and punched Wren in the gut which dispersed the fire around him

Frieza Elite: Stupid! Blue! Freak!

The elites punches caused Wren great pain as each one impacted his body like pile driver was smashing into his abdomen repeatedly. As the elite punching him went for the finishing blow, Wren disappeared in a flash of purple light causing the elite to drive his fist through his comrades chest

Appearing a few yards away, Wren thrusted his hand in the air and a bolt of lightning struck his palm and his clasped it shut and reeled his arm back before throwing forward a beam of lightning at the elites, disintegrating them both in a single blast

Wren pants as the dust clears and he floats down to the ground below and he waits a few seconds before regaining his composure and grabs his helmet from the ground and puts it back on his head.

Wren: Mission...failed. Unknown the number of survivors or who destroyed this place. But if I run into whoever did this, they're dead.

The sound of rocks being turned over made Wren turn quickly and drawing his gun but it was only Ruby walking towards him. Wren sighs in relief and holsters his weapon and goes to help her. He held her steady as he placed a hand on her chest and a light grew around her person and instantly her wounds were healed as if they were never there. She checked herself and was in awe at what Wren had done for her

Wren: Catch ya later.

Wren flew into the air and sprouted his wings and shot off into the clouds with the cry of an eagle echoing with the sound barrier breaking. Standing there Ruby couldn't believe what she saw Wren do. She has seen many unusual things in her life but seeing them never ceased to amaze her.
