The sound of new lights spawning in gets the young Warlocks attention. Seeing team RWBY spawn in where Shaw Han was at

Dominic: Took you long enough!

Yang: Hey it's not our fault Weiss kept dying!

Weiss: Those things are scary Yang!

Dominic: And that's why I made you a Warlock like me.

Weiss: Because...?

Dominic: Because you can stay in the back while the big girls get in the face of Gods.

Dominic mutters to himself while he counts using his fingers

The ship de-cloaks revealing itself to the new lights

Dominic: Yeah I just got her. She's called Rose and Bone. But I call her Rosie.

Yang: Nice name.

Dominic: Thanks. Now let's move it New Lights!

The bay door opens and the group walks inside the ship. Dominic takes his seat in the cockpit and takes the ship into orbit

Dominic: We're gonna make a quick pit stop so I can get you gals some weapons.

Weiss: What's wrong with the ones we have now?

Dominic: Well they're old, the sight on the assault rifle Blake has is cracked and I think Yang will like a weapon I have for her.

Yang: It better bring a Yang to this party!

Dominic sighs and contemplates flying them all into the sun but stops himself as they had reached their destination. A ship flying above the upper atmosphere of the Earth. The H.E.L.M

They fireteam spawns in the war room and the lights flicker on and off a few times before coming on fully

Weiss: Not only can you not pay bills in real life, but you can't pay them in the virtual world too?

Dominic: It's not bills Weiss it's...something else. Look it's nothing to concern yourselves with. Let's just get you some guns.

Dominic opens his vault and starts rummaging through his collection of firearms and outfits

Dominic: Ruby and Blake, since you two are Hunters I'll give you the only pair of boots you'll ever need. STOMP-EE5.

Blake: Why are you giving us boots?

Dominic: Look they make you faster so put them on. Oh and Ruby here's my raid sniper.

Dominic tosses Ruby a bronze and black sniper rifle and she hugs it with glee

Dominic: Okay Blake. I know you like swords so I'll give you my class sword until you get your own and I'll give you...eh take my Hung Jury I'm not using it.

Dominic tosses Blake the sword and scout rifle and she bows her head in thanks

Dominic: Now Weiss...I'd give you my stasis pistol but you don't have stasis so you can't be the Ice Queen yet. So uh..what are you running?

Weiss: Huh?

Dominic: You running arc, void, solar?

Weiss: Oh arc.

Dominic: Which tree?

Weiss: Tree?

Dominic: Okay. Look we get three- well now four, subclasses. Arc, void and solar. They all do different things and the trees in the subclasses do different things for those subclasses. Like me, I'm running top tree Dawnblade. I can fly around and shoot while in the air. Weiss you're running arc so I suggest...top tree.

Weiss: Top tree it is. But what about my guns?

Dominic: Umm..*snap* MIDA Multi-tool.

Dominic hands Weiss an awkward looking rifle and continues going through his stuff

Weiss: What about clothing??

Dominic: Uhh..here.

Dominic throws a pair of gloves behind him at Weiss

Dominic: Those things will let you turn a grenade into a little arc soul. Think of it like a tiny turret. Very helpful.

Weiss: Thank you.

Dominic: Mhm. Now Yang..ugh! Come on!

Dominic was pulling on a very large gun in his locker

Dominic: Arrh! Yang you try and get this thing out.

Yang: Say no more~

Yang walks up and stretched her arms before grasping the weapon and pulling with all her Titan strength. She falls to the floor with the gun and hugs it with a smile

Dominic: That right there is Sweet Business. And THAT is firepower.

Yang: I love it. Me and this guy are gonna have some fun today~

Yang: Solar! I choose solar!

Dominic: Okay okay  Let's just get you guys some-

Dominic let's out a sigh and rubs the face of his helmet

Yang: Yeah!! We're gonna show those moon men one hell of a beating!

Dominic shook his head and teleported everyone into his ship and he sat down at the controls and set in the destination

Dominic: Strap in guys we're going into not lightspeed.

Team RWBY sits down as the ship speeds off into the infinite cosmos. Dominic reclines his seat back

Weiss: He gets the reclining seat while we get the stiff wall chairs?

Blake: Well not everything is a castle Weiss.

Ruby: We're lucky he's being so nice to us while he's teaching us.

Weiss: But why the moon? Don't you find it weird that he's taking us?

Yang: Nah besides I always wanted to see what the moon looked like on the surface.

Weiss: There's Google you dolt!!

Yang: Hey I like fo experience things hands on. Very hands on~

Yang gives a sly smirk as her team shakes their heads in annoyance. Dominic spun around in his seat before they reached their destination

Dominic: Oop! Get ready girls we're gonna be landing. Express elevator to hell, going down!

Dominic tilted the ship down to a landing zone on the moon. The ship lands on a landing pad

Ruby: The moon! The moon! Come on guys the moon!!

Dominic: Okay okay calm down.

The bay door opens and Ruby runs outside and darts around the very small landing area

Ruby: It's so...so...so.........boring.

Dominic: Well this is a safe zone. No enemies are here.

Weiss: Well then why did you take us here?

Dominic: Don't question my methods or I'll throw you into the abyss.

Weiss: Why are you always so mean to me?

Dominic: Because I am what Dante thought of me and had embroidered on a sweater.

Blake: And that is?

Dominic: A "Frigid Bitch". I'm an asshole. It's part of my charm.

Weiss: I don't feel very charmed.

Dominic: Good. I'd feel weird being infatuated with someone who looks like she could be my distant relative.

Yang: You know we never solved that mystery.

Dominic: There is no mystery. Now come on let's get you some levels.

Dominic summoned his vehicle and looked back at the girls

Dominic: Now I'm assuming you four don't have Sparrows.

The four girls shake their heads no in sync causing the warlock to sigh

Dominic: Now you see why I wanted to prepare you guys? Because of this. I knew this would happen YANG. Do you see why YANG? I wanted to get you guys prepared for the oncoming storm YANG.

Yang: Okay I get it! I'm sorry geez!

Dominic: Sorry doesn't give you a quick way around the map.

Yang: Well you're not gonna-

Dominic zoomed off laughing in the distance leaving the girls there by themselves

Weiss: He...He left us!

Blake: So are we gonna follow him?

Ruby: Of course we are. By walking...

After eight minutes of walking and then searching, team RWBY found Dominic. The warlock was kneeling on a rock watching two pillars

Ruby: Dom-

Dominic: Shh!

Yang: What-

Dominic: Shh!

Blake: Dominic can you-

Dominic: SSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Weiss: I'll keep quiet..

Dominic: Thank you. Some Dredgens went into this portal to the Hellmouth a while ago.

Blake: Dredgens?

Dominic: Guardians who disregarded the light and use weapons of darkness.

Yang: So this is why you took us here? We're your backup?

Dominic: Yeah. I can't take them all on.

Weiss: Is this going to get us killed?

Dominic: Not if you act like you're fighting people and not monsters.

Just then, a green portal opened in between the two spires and a few Hive walked out with a Witch behind them

Dominic: Come on!

Weiss: Wait! Don't we need a plan?!

Dominic: Yeah it's called attack!

Yang: My kind of plan!!

Yang runs past Dominic and sucker punches the witch, one shotting the enemy with a single punch. A knight comes up behind Yang and raises its sword above its head but it was quickly blown apart by a sniper shot from Ruby

Yang: Nice shot!

Dominic: Come on!

Dominic was the first to run through the portal with Yang behind him and then the rest of team RWBY comes through with them. They appear in a dark hallway lit by very dim green lanterns on the floor that lights up very little but what they can see is bones. Hundreds of bones litter the floor they are standing on.

Ruby:*gasp* A-are those...

Dominic: Don't think, don't look and you'll be fine.

The fireteam continues walking through the hallway until they make it to an exit where a cliff was overlooking a giant pyramid shaped vessel in a chasm

Weiss: What is that?

Dominic: Darkness...this is where I had my first run in with pure darkness. It did strang things to the area around me.

Blake: Like what?

Dominic: Oh bring back the son of the Taken King, brought back Gaul, the Fanatic. Past evils brought back to life.

Yang: But why?

Dominic: I don't know. Maybe it thought I'd be scared seeing them.

Ruby: Were you?

Dominic: .......there's the Dredgens. Stay low and stay quiet.

Dominic crept closer to the group of dark guardians to hear their conversations

Dredgen: It's almost time. The feeding is making her influence grow. She's getting stronger

Dredgen: The time has come for the Queen to rise.

Dominic: Queen? What does....oh no.

Ruby: Uhh Dom?

Dominic: Not now.

Weiss: Dom?

Dominic: Shh!

Blake: T-turn around..

Dominic:*scoffs* Wha-?

Dominic turns to the sight of a gun barrel pointed right at him as well as other Dredgens pointing their weapons at them

Dominic: Fuck..

The fireteam was taken to the rest of the Dredgens and made to kneel in front of them

Dredgen: So the Vanguard sends a fireteam of new lights to fight us?

Dominic: Training exercise. Think I should start them off with something easy before giving them something worth a challenge.

A Dredgen hits him on the head and makes him face the main Dredgen in charge

Dredgen: You think you're above us with your light. But when she comes out of the shadows she will give those who feed her a new light to shine on the last city.

Dominic: Don't bore me with your monologue. You're just a small group and there are many more of us. Those who are more powerful than us.

Dredgen: That is true. And that power in you is what she needs.

The Dredgen takes out a gun that looks like it's been warped by darkness. The gun that feeds on guardians light, Thorn.

Ruby: No! Leave him alone!

A Dredgen titan punches Ruby in the back of the skull, knocking her out.

Yang: Ruby!!

Another Dredgen kicked Yang to the ground and stepped on her head, overpowering her. One Dredgen looks at Ruby and then at the Titan that hit her

Dredgen: What? You can't let a cute voice deter you from what's important.

Dredgen: ..........

The Dredgen holding Thorn in front of Dominic chuckles before returning his attention to him

Dredgen: We use this to feed her. And your light will give her strength to fight her enemies all.

Dominic: She's gonna lose. Just like her father, her brother, and every other monster that thing breathes into this universe.

Dredgen: And who's gonna stop me when you're gone?

A shot rang off but Thorn didn't have any sign of being fired. In fact, it was on the floor along with the arm of the Dredgen holding it

Dredgen: A..ahh..AAAAHH!!!

Blood sprayed from the corrupted guardians and he fell to his knees screaming in agony

Dominic: Boasting before the fight has ended. Not good for you.

Dominic broke out of his bindings and ran behind a rock while the other Dredgens open fired at him and the traitor

Dominic: I'm getting sick and tired of you showing up late!

Dredgen: Kept you waiting huh?!

Dominic: Oh shut up!

Dredgen: Look we need to stop these monsters now!

Dominic: I'll need a gun then!

Dredgen: Not my gun I hope!

The traitor dodges away from bullets and becomes invisible into the shadows

Dominic: I really hate that man...

A Dredgen comes around the rock which gave Dominic the opportunity to punch him in the face and take his gun

Dominic: Seven Seraph? Eugh it'll have to do

The ranks of the Dredgens start dropping like flies as Dominic and the traitor shoot and slice their way through them. The traitor spots the Titan that knocked out Ruby and he fired a round past him getting his attention

Dredgen: I guess you want revenge against me?

Dredgen: You hurt her...never again.

Dredgen: Why throw away your life for a random person you've never met?

Dredgen: Because I've made a vow to guard over her in the shadows. To strike down all who would wish to do harm.

Dredgen: You aren't one of us so pray tell, who is this warrior in shadows?

The traitor grasps his lapel and swung off his clothes revealing a pure white and silver Hunter guardian in disguise. The White Snake.

White Snake: A shadow in the light..

Dredgen: Hm. You've deceived us and now..you're gonna die.

White Snake: We'll see about that.

The Titan throws the first heavy punch which White Snake dodges to the side letting the Titan smash his hand into a rock but instead of smashing his hand into it, he shatters it completely

Dredgen:*smirk* Hm. Fast. But are you strong enough?

White Snake looks at his hand and balls it into a fist and he slams his knuckles into the stone wall. This action causes the whole area to shake, throwing Dredgens off balance as well as Dominic falling down

Dominic: Ugh! How is that even possible?!

Dredgen: Hm. And I was beginning to think today was going to be boring.

White Snake: Allow me to disprove of your hypothesis.

The two foes clash by smashing fists together making a small crater

Dredgen: You know...I thought Hunters were supposed to be weak!

White Snake: My strength lies in my own power! Not my class! And I'm going to use that power to kill you!

Dominic: Very overdramatic..

A hunter Dredgen lands on Dominic and tries to stab him with their knife

Dominic: AAH!! AH! AH! AAHHH!!

Dominic runs around smashing into walls and body slamming the Dredgen

Yang: Dom! Stop messing around and protect Ruby!!

Dominic: Just throw down a bubble!

Yang: What the hell is a bubble gonna do!?

Dominic: Oh my God you dumb bibo!!

Dominic threw the Dredgen off the cliff and he stabbed his Dawnblade sword into the ground which created a golden light that started healing them

Dominic: There! I wasted another thing to keep your sister safe!

Yang: It's not my fault I'm a newbie!!

Dominic: Then how come Weiss is kicking ass?

Weiss slid to a Dredgen and blew a hole in their chest with a shotgun. She then proceeded to melee one Dredgen which caused her lightning to chain to other Dredgens in the area and kill them all

Weiss: Woohoo!!

Yang: Oh come on!

Dominic: Look just let Snake and I fight them off! Wait where's Blake?

Four Dredgens drop dead with their heads cut off and Blake uncloaks herself with a smile

Blake: I think I'll keep playing this game.

A loud impact was heard and White Snake was flung to a wall where upon impact he made a crater in an exact outline of himself

White Snake: Uugh..

Dredgen: Hm. Too easy..

Dominic: Hey! Still have enough for round two?

Dredgen: And why should I fight you?

Dominic: Because I've killed gods just like the rest of those who play this game. Differences being that I've actually fought and slain real gods.

Dredgen: Let's see if you can slay a man.

Dominic: Another lamb to the slaughter..

Dominic and the Dredgen charge at each other for another clash of powers but it never came as Dominic teleported behind the Dredgen and delivered a powerful kick to his spine making him fall forward in pain which gave the sneaky Warlock the opportunity to stand above him and give him a swift karate chop to the neck, knocking him flat on the floor

Dominic: Don't mess with someone who's absolutely flawless.

White Snake:*grunt* Says the guy who doesn't have the Flawless rank..hehe-*cough*!

Dominic: Well fuck you then.

White Snake: I'm good. Now come on let's leave this hell hole..

The fireteam nod with Yang carrying her sister over her shoulder as they exit the caverns of the Hellmouth and take a portal to the save zone where Eris resides

Weiss: Well that was an interesting first mission.

Yang: Can't wait to tell Ruby everything she missed. Oh she's gonna be so jealous~

Ruby: Uhh..wuzzah?

Yang: Ruby!

Yang sets Ruby on her feet and hugs her sister in a tight squeeze

Yang: You're awake! I'm glad you're alright!

White Snake sat away from everyone and watched as Yang told her younger sister the tale of their adventure while she was unconscious

Dominic: It seems we have the same mission..

White Snake: Hm?

Snake looks up at Dominic who looked down at him with his arms crossed

Dominic: You said you made a promise to protect her. You meant Ruby correct?

White Snake: Indeed. I made it my mission to protect people just like her.

Dominic: Hm. It sounded like you meant just her. Just like my promise to protect Ruby.

White Snake: I am just here to watch and protect Dominic. That is all I am..a watcher.

Dominic: You are a strange man Snake. Who are you under that mask?

White Snake: A secret you will never find out I'm afraid.

Dominic: One day...one day.

White Snake: Not likely.

Dominic: Well it was good seeing you old friend. Come on girls I'm gonna take you out for ramen on earth!

Dominic walks to his ship and turns to the girls as he does so with White Snake watching them

Dominic: And trust me when I say this, they make it spicy~

White Snake chuckles under his breath and takes a moment to view earth from where he was sitting and awes in its beauty. He reached out a hand for it when a portal opened behind team RWBY and a guardian with Hive bones as armor grabs a hold of Ruby causing her to shriek

Ruby: AAH!!

Yang: Ruby!

???: SUCKERS!!!

The two were sucked into the portal and immediately it closed on the fireteam

Blake: They took her! They have Ruby!

Weiss: Dom who was that?!

Dominic: I...I...

Yang:*glowing fiery red* WHO?!

Dominic: I don't know...
