Dominic yawned and rubbed the sleepiness from his eyes as him and his son Koro were being lowered down an elevator shaft

Dominic: So why are we up at five in the morning..?

Koro: Well father do you know how we always fight enemies that tower over us? Kaiju sized even??

Dominic: Yes. And it takes us a while to fight them. So what??

Koro: Well...I made something that'll put us on an even playing field.

Dominic: What you made your own giant robot?

Koro: Ehh sort of.

The elevator goes into a pitch black warehouse and with the press of a button, the light flashed on and in the back of the room sitting on a metal throne was a gigantic robot

Koro: Dad. Meet EVA unit: Blue

Dominic: So you made an EVA unit..

Koro: Yeah. Amazing huh?

Dominic: Koro I swear to God if that's my mother.

Koro: What! No! I just made it out of dragon skin with some diecast components, a lost art in my opinion, and the sword is a giant high frequency katana. It can cut through ANYTHING. Just like your own sword father.

Dominic: So then..what powers it?

Koro: Red orbs and some of that Argent energy.

Dominic: Only a child of mine would be crazy enough to mess with the dark magics of hell.

Koro: Come on! I'll show you how it operates.

Koro takes his father to another platform that takes them up the side of the mechanical behemoth. It's scales looked just like Dominic in his devil trigger form. They make it to it's nape where a small hatch opened

Dominic: Hm. So I just climb in?

Koro: Yeah.

Dominic sighed and crawled his way inside the machine. The innards of it were wet and slimy, almost as if it was a living being. He then finds the cockpit of the mech and sits down in a chair and he looks towards the screen that just flashed to life with Koros face on the center monitor

Koro: Can you hear me? Hello?*taps on the camera* He-h-hello?*exhales on the camera*

Dominic: Yes I can hear you son. Now how do we turn this blasted contraption on??

Koro: Well...first we have to connect your motor functions through the central nervous system of her.

Dominic: And how would you do that?

Koro: Uhhh...

Dominic felt a sharp pain in his spine as four long needles stabbed into his back. His screams echoed from the monitors in Koro's side, until he muted him of course. Dominic's screams end and he pants nearly vomiting from the pain

Koro: You okay..?

Dominic: Is it over.....?

Koro: Yeah..sorry dad but I thought you could take it

Dominic: Oh no it's fine son- ah fuck you! Now how the hell do I make this thing walk so I can come over there and kick your ass!

The giant mechanical hand of the EVA unit began to twitch as Dominic's anger grew

Dominic: You wake me up at five AM just to test out this dumb robot! Then you drill holes into my back which hurt like hell!

The mech begun to stand from it's throne, growling as the tubes connected to it snap off

Koro: O-okay dad just calm down!

Dominic: You don't order me boy!!

The giant hand of the EVA unit raised into the air and curled into a fist about to smash down onto the platform Koro was standing on

Koro: Alright thats it!

Koro slams his fist on a red button on the console and the EVA unit starts to power down. The mechanized beast falls to it's kness and it's head goes slack. Dominic pants and let's go of the controls and then the needles in his back pop out giving the son of Sparda a feeling of relief

Dominic stretched and cracked his back with a light grunt

Dominic: Oh my god that felt amazing...mmh~!

Koro's face appears on the screen again

Koro: Father! Father are you okay!

Dominic: Yea-yeah. I'm fine Koro. I'm sorry my rage..it got to it's boiling point from the pain. I'm sorry.

Koro: No I'm sorry dad. Look I'll make adjustments and maybe I can do some...I dunno Pacific Rim mind crap or make your brain control most of the functions of the EVA unit.

Dominic: Hm...KaibaCorp can help with that. The Bleeding Edge duel disk uses the same technology albeit on a very smaller scale.

Koro: Excellent. Now get out of that thing and let's get breakfast.

The screens shut off and Dominic looks around the cockpit and he runs his hand on the controls

Dominic: We're gonna kill alot of things together. Til then...

Dominic exits the unit and returns to the surface with his son and as the lights shut off, a short glimmer shines in the eyes of the EVA unit.
