CHARACTERS : Male Lead : Vineet Malhotra; Female Leads: Ruhana Malhotra(Wife Of Vineet) , Arva Malhotra(Their daughter).

Vineet was pacing up and down in the hall room and was continuously checking the clock. He seemed worried. He came out of his thoughts on the voice of his wife....

"Vineet, Why are you so tensed? Relax!! Arva will come back on time. Don't worry" She spoke looking at him. He turned to find his wife....

"Ruhana, Its almost past 8. Arva has never been out for so long. I am worried for her.Dunno where's she?" He replied back in a worried tone . She smiled and kept her hand on his shoulder....

"Vineet!! Your daughter is not a little baby, she is big enough to take care of herself. And she is out with her friends, she is not alone. Calm down now!" Ruhana tried to calm him.

Vineet, now looked at his wife...."Okay, but didn't you asked her when will she come back? She's not picking the phone also." He was still worried for his daughter.

To him , his daughter was his reason of living. She was his bundle of joy, who made him smile even in the most tensed situation. Whenever he was tired, her calling him "Papa" In her sweet, unclear voice, made him forget all his tiredness and he would pick her up in her arms and both father-daughter used to roam around in the house, sometimes teasing Ruhana, pulling her hair, or requesting her to make noodles, milkshake and more.

Ruhana glanced at her husband. She could easily read the tension in his eyes, because his daughter was away and hadn't returned home yet. She held his hand and made him sit on the couch.

"Vineet, Please! Don't get so much worried. Her friends are also with her. And Priyanka assured me that they'll drop her home early. So, Please Relax! "

He looked at her unwillingly and she smiled....

"Vineet, Don't you remember, when Aru was just 7 yrs and you were teaching her to ride the bicycle.?"

He nods and a smile appears on his face....

"How can I forget those days Ruhana! They were the best days of our life...weren't they?"

She smiles...."Indeed Vineet! The most beautiful days..."

They moved back into the memory lane, when their daughter was just 7 years old.

"Flashback starts*

It was a cool evening. The society was quite chirpy with lots of children playing around. He was also there with his daughter. The little girl was quite scared and clutched tighter on her father's hand. He looked at his little girl and smiled. He took her to a side and sat on her knees to come up to her level...

"What happened Princess?" He asked her cupping her small face in his big hands.

"Papa, I don't want to drive this. " She said in a teary voice.

He smiles and picked her in his arms....

"Don't be scared Baby! Papa is with you. He will not let anything happen to you. " He tried to convince his little one.

The little girl looked at him with a scared and innocent face. Vineet smiles and kissed on his cheek.

"Papa will not leave Aru alone. We will drive a short distance. Okay Princess?

She smiled and hugged him. Vineet smiles , kisses on her cheeks. She smiles and then started the learning course.... Aru driving and Vineet behind her holding the handle, in order to save her from falling. But suddenly, as his phone rang , his attention diverted, Arva lost her balance and fell down. A stone hurt her on her knee andshe started crying. Vineet immediately took her home. Arva, by now, realized how much she was hurt. Blood was oozing out and Ruhana got a bit worried seeing the cut, the stone had left on her knee.

She cleaned the wound, but couldn't see her little girl in pain. Vineet was trying to divert Arva's attention all the while Ruhana was doing her first aid.

After some time....

Ruhana was in the kitchen preparing chocolate shake for Arva when Vineet came there. He knew his wife was worried for his daughter. He tapped on her shoulder. She turned to him....

"What happened? Is Arva fine?" She instantly questioned him. He hold her by her arms....

"Relax My Love! If she'll never fell down, how will she learn to get up on her own. We can't be there every time to save her from falling. I want her to be strong enough, that she is able to handle herself alone. I want my girl to be strong, and for this, she needs to walk, fall, get hurt and stand again. And I know, you also want to see your daughter better than what she is today, Right?

Ruhana was looking at him all the while he was speaking. She smiled and said....

"Vineet, I am proud that I've got the Best person in this world. And you're the best father as well. "

He smiled and hugged her. Meanwhile, they heard their daughter calling them and both of them rushed to their little princess.

Vineet looked at Ruhana. She held his hands....

"I know, you're worried for Arva. But , now you need
to grow up as well. When you said, that if she gets scared with a little scar, how will she handle any bigger fault or scar in her life. In the same way, she has to mingle with people around. You'll not be there to handle her Vineet. You need to let her enjoy life in her own way. Let her grow in her own way.

Vineet smiled as he understood what Ruhana wanted to say. He hold her hands...

"You're right Ruhana. But still,when I see her, I find the same little Baby girl, whom I held in my arms. She's my little Princess. "

Ruhana smiled....."She will be a little Princess for us Vineet, but we can't stop her. She must learn on her own."

He nodded positively, but they were distracted by another chirpy voice....Vineet turned and smiled...

"Papa, No matter, how old I'll be, No matter, that I'll get a Prince Charming, I'll still be your little Girl, and I want to be the same."

Vineet smiled and kissed on her forehead. She looked at him again...

"Yeah Dad! I want to be your little girl, whom you'd pamper, love and put to sleep. I want to be Daddy's Little Girl , as Mom says."

And she hugs him. He kissed on her hairs and they shared a Perfect Family Hug.

A person is lucky if he/she gets to raise a daughter. They are the real treasures. Love them and Respect them..!!.
