At night.

"Our doubt is correct Randhir" "Sara gets scared by just taking name of school" Sanyukta said

"Did you ask her?" Randhir asked

"No Randhir..." "She started crying" "She was afraid" "Her face expression changed" "She is very scared Randhir" "Maine usse kuch pucha nahi aage..." Sanyukta said

"Hmmm..." "We are going to school tomorrow" "Then lets see...if Sara wants we will continue her in same school or else we'll change her school" Randhir said

"Hmmm okay..." Sanyukta said

"Come lets sleep now..." Randhir said

They settled down on bed.

Sara was sleeping in between them.

Soon SanDhir were in deep sleep.

Around midnight.

Sara started shouting and crying on remembering that incident.

SanDhir got up seeing her in panic state.

Sanyukta hugged her.

"Beta kya hua?" "What happened Sara" Sanyukta tried to console her.

Sara was crying badly.

"Sara baby what happened?" Randhir asked her.

Sara kept on crying.

"Sara..." Sanyukta hugged her tightly.

"Randhir bring water for her..." Sanyukta said

Randhir brought water for her.

Sanyukta made her drink water.

"Mumma..." Sara had hiccups.

"Haan baby..." "What happened" Sanyukta asked her

"Mumma..." Sara hugged her again and started again

"Baby Mumma is here only...dekho Mumma aapke paas hi hai...kya hua...what happened" Sanyukta tried to ask her again

"Princess...what happened?" "Are you scared of something" Randhir tried his luck to ask her

But Sara was in no mood to stop.

She was crying.

"Sara..." "Ssshhhh....shant" "Bas stop crying now..." "Stop beta..." Sanyukta hugged her tightly across her chest.

Sanyukta had caged Sara tightly in her embrace.

It was like Sanyukta was protecting her child from evils.

It was utter silence in room.

Sara closed her eyes feeling the warmth of her mother's embrace.

Sanyukta hugged Sara like her second skin.

Sara had stopped crying now.

Sanyukta felt it.

He sobs were less now.

"My Baacha..." Sanyukta kissed her head.

Sara slowly opened her eyes.

She looked at Sanyukta.

Sanyukta wiped Sara's tears.

"Mumma...I don't want to go to school" Sara said

Sara had tears in her eyes again.

"Okay okay...no one is sending you to school" "Stop crying now baby" "Stop crying baacha" Sanyukta wiped her tears

"Mumma..." Sara cried again.

Sanyukta hugged her back immediately

"Ssshhh...bas Sara" "Stop crying baby..." "Don't get scared baby..." Sanyukta said to console her.

"Mumma...Mumma I am scared" "I don't want to go" "darr lagta hai Mumma" Sara said

"Sara...baby look at me" "Look at me..." Sanyukta cupped her face

"Kis baat ka dar baacha?" "Why are you scared?" "Tell me..." Sanyukta asked her

Sara started crying.

"Sara...don't cry and tell me...did something happened in school" "Aap kyu darr rahe ho" "Kyu nahi jaana aapko school" Sanyukta asked her

"Mumma...that Savita...our attendant..." "She..." Sanyukta looked at Randhir

"What did she do beta?" "Tell me..." Sanyukta asked

"Mumma...I am scared..." Sara said

"Don't get scared Sara..." "Why to get scared beta?" "Mumma and Dad hai na yaha aapke saath"

"Phir darna kyu?" "Tell me baacha...what did she do?" Sanyukta said

"Mumma..." "She..she pinched me ...here..." Sara pointed at her core.

"She pinched me here Mumma bohot zor se..." "Bohot pain horaha tha Mumma" "She pinched me hard..." "I was alone in washroom" "She rubbed here..." Sara started crying again

"No baby...NO..." Sanyukta took her in her embrace.

"Mumma...she is very bad" "She pressed my mouth tightly when I started crying..." "Mumma...she scared me" "She said...aagar maine kisiko bataya...toh she will again pinch me there" Sara cried miserably

Sanyukta had tears in her eyes.

"No baby...aaisa kuch nahi hoga" "Mumma hai na...kuch nahi hoga baby" "Trust me...we will punish that lady okay" Sanyukta said

"Mumma...it pained me..." Sara said in between her hicups

"I know baby...I know" "But we will see doctor again okay..." "You will be fine soon" Sanyukta assured her

"Mumma...please don't go" "Please don't leave me alone" Sara hugged Sanyukta tightly

"No baby...Mumma is not going anywhere" "I am here only...with you" Sanyukta rubbed her back

Sanyukta looked at Randhir with teary eyes.

Randhir couldnt take it anymore.

He left the place with a heavy heart.

He came to drawing room.

He was broken.

He felt terrible.

He couldn't protect his daughter.

Sara went through so much and he couldn't do anything to save her.

He blamed himself for Sara's condition.

His daughter was tortured.

It affected her so much that she now scared of going to school.

She was tortured physically and mentally too.

Sara fall asleep in Sanyukta's arms.

She carefully made Sara lay down on bed.

Sara had clutched Sanyukta's top tightly into her tiny fist.

Sanyukta couldnt move at all.

She laid beside her.

Sara turned and hugged Sanyukta in sleep.

Sanyukta hugged her again and kissed her head.

Tears rolled down from her eyes.

She could feel Sara's soft breathes on her chest.

Her baby was finally sleeping peacefully.

"I am sorry Sara" "I am very sorry..." Sanyukta mumbled

It was quite late and Randhir still didn't came back.

Sanyukta got worried for him.

He looked stressed and disturbed.

She couldn't even move.

She thought of calling him.

She turned a bit to grab her phone.

"Mumma..." Sara sensed her movement.

"I am here baby...I am here" She hugged her again

She dialled Randhir's number with her free hand.

Unfortunately Randhir had left his phone in room.

She disconnected the call.

She was worried for him now.

But she couldnt even get up to see him.

She was awake for some more time but soon her eyes closed and she fall asleep.

Early morning around 5AM Randhir came into the room.

He found Sara and Sanyukta sleeping in each others arms.

He felt relieved on seeing them.

Sara was hugging Sanyukta like her second skin.

Sanyukta had cocooned her completely.

He kept looking at them.

*flashback*

Sanyukta was 9 months pregnant.

Her baby bump is fully grown now and due date will be anytime next week.

Randhir couldn't sleep whole night and was thinking about their baby.

His eyes were fixed on her baby bump thinking about the little soul breathing inside her.

"Is it a boy or girl?"

Randhir always wished for a girl.

They would be happy in anything doesnt matter if its a boy or a girl.

Sanyukta opened her eyes and found Randhir looking at her.

Their eyes met.

"Come here" she called him

He sat next to her sleeping frame and kissed her forehead.

He then placed a warm kiss on her baby bump

"Morning..." He said

"Very good morning..." she said

"You didn't sleep whole night" She said

He nodded in NO.

"Why?" She asked

"Neend nahi aarahi thi" He said

"Kyu?" She asked

"Was thinking about baby and you" He said

"What were you thinking?" She asked him

"About our life..after our baby comes" He said

"Aaabhi se itna tension kyu le rahe ho?" "Everything will be fine" "I know how many nights you have spent like this" She cupped his face

"Not tension Sanyukta..." "But you and our baby are my responsibility" "Finally I am going to get my own family..." "I am excited...but somewhere a bit nervous too" "I want our baby to be happiest" "What all I have faced in my life shouldn't happen with my baby" "Today I get to know...what actually a responsibility is" He said

"I know...you are going to be best dad" "You are capable of handling all the responsibilities" She said

"I want you both to be happy and safe" He said

"We both will be safe...because you are our protector" Sanyukta said

*flashback ends*

Randhir's eyes brimmed with tears.

Rays of sunlight entered their room.

Randhir was still in same position and was looking at the two angels of his life.

Sanyukta opened her eyes and found Randhir in room

She sigh in relief.

"Come here..."She called him.

He followed her words.

He sat on bed next to Sara.

"Kaha the raat bhar?" "I was so worried for you" She said

"I was in study room" He said

He looked at Sara.

She was sleeping peacefully in Sanyukta's arms.

He caressed Sara's head.

"You were thinking about us?" She asked with her eyes getting moist.

He nodded in YES.

Randhir quickly wiped his tears before they fall on Sara.

She cupped his cheek with her one free hand.

"Main janti hu tum nahi bol paoge" "And you dont need to say anything" She said

"I ...am..I..." He fumbled with words

"Kuch mat bolo..." "Main sab samajti hu" "You don't need to say anything Randhir" "I know exactly what you are feeing right now" She said

"I love you Sanyukta" "I love you both a lot" He said

"We know that..." She smiled

"I couldn't protect you and Sara" He said

"We are safe...cause you are with us" She said

"You both have suffered because of me"

"Sanyukta..you were always suffering" "I have ill treated you many times" "I have slapped you and said so much to you"  "Sara hates me because I am worst dad" "I couldnt protect her" "I was not there when she needed me" Randhir said

"Who told you this Randhir" "You are not worst dad" "You are best dad in the world" "You don't emote...but I know how much you love and care for Sara" "May be Sara is small to understand you but I know you very well" "And coming to me...you were always like this" "And I love this Randhir" "Tum rude ho,gussa karte ho...kabhi kabhi bohot kuch bol jate ho which you didn't mean in real" "And I have fallen in love with this Randhir only" "You may not be a perfect boyfriend or husband Randhir" "And I never expected you to be one.." "I love your imperfections" "I love your flaws " "I was aware of what I am getting into" "I love you the way you are Randhir" She said

"Why do you love me so much Sanyukta?" "In spite of all...what happened..." He said

"Why do you love me Randhir?" She questioned him.

"We have promised each other Randhir" "Promise of love, care and togetherness" "Our love isn't weak" She said

"We have been through so much in past"

"Break ups,patch ups, family problems" "Ego clashes" "Fights" "Still we are together..." "And we have Sara..." She said

"I love you both" "I can't live without you both" He said

"I love you Randhir..." She said

Randhir pressed a warm kiss on Sanyukta's head.

He moved down and kissed Sara's head.

"Come sleep for sometime..." She said

He laid down beside her.

She tapped his forehead and soon he fall asleep.
