Another book, yay!

The rain was pouring hard that day. A day Misako would never forget. This was when she made the biggest mistake....Or that's what she thought. She was leaving her son. She had to. For the sake of him and her husband."At least you will be safe with some old friends."Misako said out loud. She knocked on the Smith's door. Maya gasped when she saw Misako."Misako! What are you doing here? Please, come inside!"Said Maya. Misako smiled, and entered their home.

"Thank you for welcoming me into your fine home, Maya and Ray."She said, once they all sat down."Why are you here? Is something wrong?"Asked Ray. Misako sighed."It is Garmadon. Evil has taken control. And I fear that my son.."She began. She then looked at her baby. Lloyd giggled at her, his bright eyes meeting hers."Has oni blood. Garmadon did, and Wu has some. Garmadon agrees that he did not want Lloyd to follow him in his footsteps..."Said Misako.

"So, what is the pro-"Mama! Who is the baby and woman?"Asked a five year old Kai. Maya smiled."Kai, Nya. This Misako and Lloyd."Said Maya. The two quickly took interest in Lloyd. The adults smiled at the three children."Children, why don't you take Lloyd, and go play with him?"Suggested Maya. The two children nodded, and took Lloyd to go play."The trouble is...That Lloyd is the green ninja."Explained Misako. Maya and Ray gasped."Are you sure? How do you know?"Asked Ray. Just then, out of the corner of their eye, they saw a green light.

"Cool!"Cried out Kai. They also heard Lloyd laugh."Does that answer your question?"Asked Misako. Ray nodded."I need you to take him in...Just until I find a way to prevent Lloyd and his father from fighting. They are each other pride and joy. I know they will be heartbroken when they find out the news."Said Misako."Of course, dear. Anything for a friend."Said Maya."We can take him as long as you need."Said Ray."Thank you. May the FSM bless you."Said Misako. She got up, and went to say her goodbyes to her son. She didn't know if she would ever see him again.

"Mama! Where are you?!"Cried out Kai. Nya and Lloyd began to cry."They are gone. They really are gone."Said Kai, tears were rolling off his face as well. It had only been a few days since Misako came and dropped off Lloyd. And now, they were all alone."Don't worry, guys. I will protect you both. We will get through this together."Said Kai. Kai wiped their tears away."We are a family. And a family has each other's backs."He said. Nya and Lloyd hugged him tightly.
