The casts and family gathered at the restaurant, taking up over 6 tables and joining them together. They were chattering and laughing, the kids were drawing, the adults ordering. It was a great day.

Melissa and Katie C were talking about a scene they filmed that day, while Stephen and Manu talked about Nocking Point. "I swear, the curse had finally worn off me" Melissa said, "I got through what should've been 7 lines of my dying of laughter in 3 minutes"

"You're just jinxing yourself now" Katie laughed, taking a sip from her wine.

"It might be the pregnancy" Melissa said, rubbing her stomach.

"Have you found out what they're going to do when you need to go on maternity leave" Katie asked.

"No, but they have some ideas" Melissa said.

"Are you sure Bennett can't be a middle name?" Manu asked.

"You realize we're going to keep the name in case we have a son right?" Stephen asked.

"Don't make the middle name Bennett" Manu stated.

"Olivia's middle name well be Caity" Caity said.

"Yes, to honour her amazing aunt" Melissa smiled.

"I'm her amazing aunt" Katie C said.

"I'm her amazing aunt" Caity fired back.

"Oh here it comes" Melissa rolled her eyes.

"Melissa!" Caity and Katie C exclaimed.

"I'm not getting in between this!" Melissa raised her hands defensively. "To pregnant for this"

"On that note" John stood up. "Our announcement" Scott stood up with him and we all looked at them. "A few months ago, when Stephen told the small group of us he and Mel were ready to start a family, me and Scott began looking at options. We looked into surrogacy, adopting, fostering, all of it. I didn't think we'd find anything solid until a month ago. My old friend from high school's oldest daughter was pregnant, and she didn't want to keep it, she wants to pursue a doctor career and can't take care of a new born, I told her me and Scott were looking to adopt, and she told me she would love for us to adopt her child. Which is what we're doing. We'll be fathers in February of 2019"

"That's amazing!" Melissa cheered, she stood up and hugged John and Scott.

"Called it!" Caity exclaimed.

"That's great you guys" Manu said, "I'm so happy for you!"

"Thank you guys, thank you all for helping us realize we wanted a family" Scott said.

"To Scott and John, to their bundle of joy, and to family!" Paul held his glass up.

"To family" Melissa cheered.

Truly a family...
