I wasn't going to update today, mostly cause I wanted to relax, write ideas, maybe go for an adventure. But Amy Jackson (My girl Imra) just announced she's pregnant, so here's a mother based chapter.

It was the day after the pre-season, now everyone was preparing for the Whistler trip, but me and Stephen wanted to do some more preparing for Olivia. Katie, Manu, John, and Manu's daughters came over to help, and it was getting into the 4th hour of trying to figure out how to rebuild the crib.

"This part is supposed to go there" Katie pointed.

"But it's also supposed to attach to this" Manu held up a part, "Which doesn't make sense since it doesn't fit!"

"Haven't you built a crib before?" John asked, "You have 3 daughters"

"The company we got our cribs from built it for us" Manu said, "You guys couldn't pay extra for that?"

"There was no option" Katie said.

"Well, we can YouTube it?" Stephen suggests.

"I'll go grab the laptop and see if there's any tutorials" I said, walking out and heading to my office.

There was another script laid out for me titled 'Mommies Legacy'. I opened it to the synopsis. A mothers love outshines any other love. Lena deals with a mess her mother left behind, Kara meets her mother's most evil enemies, and William is suffering hallucinations of his late mother.

"Huh" I hummed, picking up with my laptop and walking back into the nursery and handing Stephen my laptop before sitting down on the rocking chair.

Lena: *Handing Oliver a tablet with test results* He's having an episode of Hallucinations

Kara: Whats causing it?

Lena: My guess? Seeing his grandmother reminded him of his mother

Kara: Oh

Oliver: We have to tell Samantha's mom what she's causing

Kara: It's not her fault she looks like her daughter

Oliver: I know that, but if he gets more traumatized while spending time with her, she'll blame us

Kara: Can I talk to him?

Lena: He's just playing his phone

*Kara enters the Medbay where William is playing on his phone*

Kara: Hey

William: *Looking up and smiling* Hi

Kara: *Sitting next to him* How are you feeling?

William: I'm fine, Aunt Lena said I'm just tired

Kara: Are you still seeing her?

William: Yea *William looks to the corner of the room* She's just sitting there, smiling

Kara: *Caressing William's hair* She's guarding you, like all mothers do

William: I miss her *Curling into a ball*

Kara: *Hugging William* I know, but she would want you to be strong

William: *Sniffling* Can I visit my grandma? Before I have to go back to school?

Kara: Of course, come on, we can go now

"Mel?" I looked up, Katie was giving me a questioning look.

"What?" I asked.

"Want some pizza? We're ordering" She asked.

"Oh yea, sure" I smiled.

"Whatcha reading?" John asked.

"The new script for 'Mommies Legacy'" I said.

"Oh yea, that gets emotional" Manu said, tightening a screw on the crib.

"When is it going to be filmed?" I asked.

"Maybe early October" Stephen said.

"I'm going to go make a call" I stood up and walked out and back into me and Stephen's room, pulling out my phone and calling my mother.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Did I ever thank you?" I asked.

"Thank me for what?" She asked.

"Thank you for raising me" I teared up a little, "Thank you for putting food on the table, clothes on my back, the acting classes, the endless nights helping me study lines, everything"

"You never had to, it's a mothers intuition. We know when you are thankful" I could tell she was smiling. "I knew you would do great things, and I knew if I gave you the stuff you needed, you would accomplish it young"

"Thank you" I smiled.

"A real thank you would be raising your daughter like I raised you, to be strong and proud. Teach her to cook and act, make sure she knows she's loved, a real thank you would be showing me that I raised you right" She said.

"I promise mom" I said. "I love you"

"I love you too, Melissa Marie"

I just got the news Emily Bett is leaving Arrow before Season 8 and I am sooooo upset. I swear to god if they kill her off, I will riot!
