It's been a month, and so far no one had heard from Luhan. He had gone back to China  (or so we got told) to study the ancient art of fighting.

"Baby, why aren't you focusing you promised me would cover the basic principals of a flower today" Chanyeol pouted, his full and slightly swollen lips.

"Sorry Channie" he whispered, his gaze not once moving from the window. "My mind keeps dragging me back to Luhan and Sehun"

Chanyeol placed his biology book and copy down onto the white sheets of Sehun's hospital bed. It was their turn to watch over the sleeping boy, Baekhyun always felt as if an ice bullet impaled his heart, everytime his mind brought him crawling back to the memory.

"Sehun is a strong guy Baek, he'll pull through. I've known him my whole life he'll get through his"

"What about Luhan huh?" Baekhyun took his eyes away from the window, settling them down his boyfriends.

"Luhan is just as strong as Sehun, they were technically together so you shouldn't be so surpised he acted the way he did a month ago"

Baekhyun blew air from his mouth, the breath travelling towards his bangs and blowing them skywards. Chanyeol cooed at the sight.

"Oh please just kill me" a hoarse and dull voice filled the room as the blankets tossed and turned.

Baekhyun smiled as he watched Sehun toss over onto his side in the bed. Chanyeol stared wide eyed down at the boy in the bed.

"You're awake?!" He yelled, slightly confused and amazed at the same time.

"Well for a moment I thought I was in hell, but you two are still as cringy as ever" the boy laughed, smiling his bright smile between the new couple.

"Sorry if it was hell Kyungsoo would be here and not us" Baekhyun joked happy see the boy laugh along with him.

Chanyeol pressed the little red button beside Sehun's bed and within a heartbeat a nurse and doctor both walked in, clipboards and watches in hand. Baekhyun grinned up at his doctor. Suho had been promoted to working full time at the hospital instead of working part time whole also juggling his clinic work. With a pull of a few strings they were able to house Sehun into a private room all to himself.

"Good morning Sehun" Suho grinned, pulling out a black pen and clicking the top.

"More like afternoon" the boy chuckled, wheezing when the nurse helped him sit up in the bed.

"So, You finally decided to wake up from your coma I see" Suho chuckled walking over and inspecting the boy.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol watched as he took his heart rate, blood pressure and a vile of blood.

"You feeling alright, any dizzy spells or maybe gaps in memory?"

To the wuestions asked Sehun replied with a simple yet stern "Nope"

"Good" Suho exclaimed checking one of the many boxes on his clipboard. "You don't seem to have any signs of memory loss, I'll get your blood tested and get back to you in a couple of hours, Mandy here will get you a drink of water, lunch will be served soon and boys" Suho turned to the couple currently packing away their school work. "Same orders as usual?"

"Of course"

With a nod of his head Suho and Mandy left the room, leaving the three friends alone once more.

"So, how is everyone?" Sehun wondered, his eyes looking down at his fingers that tangled together in nerves.

"Kyungsoo and Kai are fine while Minseok and Chen have gone to China for Minseok's swimming competitions" Baekhyun explained keeping it brief for the boy who just woke up.

"Then I've been out-"

"A month" Chanyeol clarified with a nod "Worst time of my live man" he admitted earning a death glare from his small boyfriend. "Oh come on Baek you know I'm only saying that"

Sehun rolled his eyes and mentally gagged at the fluff and sweetness originating from the other two boys present.

"What about Luhan?" He questioned drawing silence "You haven't told me about him"

"He's home back to China Sehun, he said he wanted to learn how to fight so he could protect you"

Although Baekhyin had said it as softly and sweetly as he could, Sehun still found the comment offensive. His jaw clenched and his hands forming fists.

"Why does he have to do that? Why do I need to be the one who need protecting?"

"Sehun he was scared" Chanyeol commented knowing his best friend inside and out. Sehun was pissed with the fact Luhan took it upon himself to leave to go and get stronger because Sehun wasn't strong enough. "He stayed with you for 3 days, he wouldnt eat or sleep he just stayed here crying over you"

"He did it for all of us, he left to get stronger so he could come back here and look at you and not remember the time he was helpless against the monster we faced"

Sehun became mute to the words Chanyeol and Baekhyun spoke. His chest rising and fallening quickly as tears fell down his cheeks and lay to rest on the covers. "I get it" he mumbled through his sobs. "I understand"

Baekhyun was the first one to wrap his arms around the crying boys chest. His heart was hurting as Chanyeol wrapped them both into his embrace. Being taller he had the ability to extend his arms, so that everyone could fit inside.

"We love you man" Chanyeol his voice deep and soft, velvety against the two boys ears. Sehun cried harder and Baekhyun pulled away allowing the friends some bonding time as he excused himself to get a drink from the cafteria.

"Thank you" he smiled to the last behind the counter. He pulled the water bottle cap open and took a gulp. The fresh and cool liquid filling his mouth before getting swallowed down his throat. Baekhyun grinned feeling the coldness of the water run down his throat and into his stomach where it disappeared.

"Baekhyun?" A familiar yet soft voice called from behind. Baekhyun had just walked out of the cafeteria turned and stared back atvthe figure running towards him.

"Lu?" He breathed out before his body was engulfed into an embrace. The familiar scent of daisies wrafted into his nose, drawing a small smile onto his lips as he hugged the boy closer to his body.

"Hey Baek" he whispered when they eventually pulled back. "How are you?"

"How am I?! I should be asking you that question, You had us all worried sick!" He exclaimed hitting his friend on his shoulder.

Luhan took the punch, his emotionless face doing nothing but smiling. Baekhyun stared at him for a moment before speaking.

"What happened to you?" He asked noticing how much his friend had changed in the month he hasn't contacted.

"I grew used to punches and cuts" the boy shrugged "they don't really bother me anymore"

Baekhyun could still see the Luhan he used to know and love hidden in the deep parts of the boys eyes. He was still the same guy, however walls of shields were caging him in. Baekhyun assured himself that Sehun would be able to bring their friend back.

Luhan was still Luhan, yet Baekhyun didn't like seeing him so closed off and on alert all the time.

As they made their way back up to Sehun's room, Luhan seemed prepared for a fight whenever the door to the elevator opened on the floors.

Everything changed as soon as Luhan stepped into the room and he witnessed Sehun's year stained cheeks and very much open eyes.

"Oh my gosh" he gathered before Luhan had jumped on the bed and claimed his lips. Baekhyun watched the two by the door and Chanyeol walked over to him carrying their bags.

"You ready to leave?" Baekhyun wondered stepping outside the room, watching as Chanyeol closed the door quietly behind him.

"Yes we have places to go" he grinned sliding Baekhyun's backpack onto his back and cupping their hands together as they began walking out.

"Where are you taking me Park?"

"Oh you know... maybe the park" he muttered pulling the boy into his side so he could whisper into his ear. Baekhyun hummed in delight, a move that usually meant go on.

"Then maybe I could take you to the cinema?"

"Sounds good" he blushed looking down at their interlocked hands.

"And I'm going to bring you on a drive to a beautiful place"

"And where is this beautiful place?"

"My bedroom"

Baekhyun immediately pushed the giant away forcing him to jump into the wall. Although they have been dating for a month and already confessed their feeling for each other, they hadn't turned to sex. It was pretty low on the 'To Do Couple' list both of them had made (on a very weird day for very funny reasons).

Chanyeol's laughter filled his eardrums as Baekhyun rushed down the hallway, hoping to hide his blushing red and rosy cheeks.

"Hey wait up!" He called out dashing after the small beauty who tried everything in his power to get away from him.

Chanyeol had managed to somehow grab his wrist and pull them both into an alleyway, between one of the many bakeries in town and one of the many apartment complexes. Chanyeol grinned down at the beauty before him, his school bag pressing against his back as a remainder that it was getting squished by the wall behind.

Baekhyun blushed whole looking up into the chocolate eyes of his lover. The gaze they held was filled with love and adoration between the two of them, Baekhyun wanted nothing more than to run away from the giant and confess the blushing moments to Kyungsoo who he was still happily sharing his apartment with.

But something within him held his feet to the ground. Something whispering words of 'its over, just whatever happen happen'.

Chanyeol dipped his head and connected their lips in a slow kiss. Baekhyun's hands clamped the fabric of his shirt drawing him closer.

It was official. He was tried of running away from the man before him. They had faced so much in such a short time that Baekhyun felt like everything had happened in one day and not over a course of a week.

He and Chanyeol had fallen in love over the course of 2 years. Their identities hidden by colourful mask that shared the same colour of red. They shared so many things in common that they were surpised they never figured things out sooner.

Baekhyun had admitted that he knew if Chanyeol's identity alot earlier than the latter had figured out his and that surpised Chanyeol into believing that he in fact had been right with his suspicions all along, yet that all didn't matter right now.

The only thing that was on their mind as a car blew up nearby was their lips connecting. The fact that the world was still moving and trying to kill each other but for those moments that they shared in each other's embrace or liplock, they were on a whole other planet. A world of their own. Where they could take the time to show the love to each other before rushing off in a battle.

This was were they wanted to be and this was familiar, they finally found what they were both looking for.

Love.

And nothing was ever going to change that.

So that's it! This is my second book that is finished! I hoped you all enjoyed and I hope you will look forward to the BONUS CHAPTERS that I will update soon.

Familiar is done! But I gotta admit I'm you going to miss writhing this book. It was probably one that I hadn't tried to rewrite or anything like that. I'm glad you all stayed and figured out what was happening for the two superheroes, but there story does not end here!

Bonus Chapters will be updated and will continue the storyline on, with Fluff and Smut (because y'all seem to enjoy my books when I add smut chapters hahaha).
