Castiel is on his fan Instagram that night long after Dean is asleep. He's been spamming accounts with likes and follows, and many of them have returned the favor, not that he really cares too much. It gets him closer to the eventual reveal when people realize that it's him, now that he's gaining more people's attention, but he's still only up to 73 followers; far from enough to make a dent in the Castiel Novak fandom.

He genuinely enjoys reading the captions. As always, it's his favorite part - better than the comments, which were the reason he made the account in the first place. There are a lot of pictures of his tweet asking about the new album, and the reactions are golden.

"IT'S THE SONG. IT'S GONNA BE THE SONG. GUYS HE'S PUTTING THE SONG ON HIS ALBUM."

"Me: Oh look I finally have my life together.
Castiel: So for my new album...
Me: *throws away time management skills* I'M READY FOR A CASTIEL NOVAK MARATHON!"

"HIS NEW ALBUM HE'S WORKING ON HIS NEW ALBUM I'M GONNA NEED THE NEXT FEW WEEKS OFF TO PREPARE FOR THIS MASTERPIECE."

"Y'all gotta go say yes because hE's GoNnA pUt ThE sOnG oN hIs AlBuM i'M sO fReAkInG eXcItEd!"

"I STG IF HE'S NOT PUTTING THE SONG ON HIS NEW ALBUM I'M GONNA THROW A FIT."

"Someone with more followers than me has to get everyone on Twitter to tag him and get the hashtag #WeWantOurSongOnCN5 trending because I WANT THIS SONG DAMMIT!"

"Studio version of the song say whaaaat? YASSS, SONN!"

He can't help but find it kind of amusing that everyone calls it "the song," because that could be anything. He had no idea it was so popular until he tweeted that poll out. He wouldn't have thought it would stand out so much against all his other ones.

There was one person that had another good idea - possibly a better one than putting "the song" on his album, even, if this hadn't been so popular. Maybe next album.

"You're all thinking it's the song about Dean but what if it's the song with Dean instead?"

A lot of the comments are about how that wasn't a Sioux Falls original - it was in Massachusetts, not South Dakota. But next year, if he have make any avenged warning about a repeat, no one can point that out about a potential duo.

There was one other tweet he saw a few times throughout his voyage through the world of fan pages, this one not from Castiel but obviously about him. It's from a girl named Bela Talbot, the verified checkmark next to her name implying that she's someone of importance.

"Ugh. And here I thought we had a chance at an awards show without giving everything to one person."

This tweet was usually followed by another one, also from the same person.

"Some people need to learn when their time is up and move on. You're not cool anymore. Leave this for the rest of us."

There's no way people don't know this is about him. It came right after his mention of a new album. It may not say his name, but the timing is enough that she doesn't have to tag him. The captions are partially supportive of him, but mostly just plain angry.

"This bitch is trying to tear Castiel down as if she's anything but a blip on the map of this Castiel-infected world."

"YOU WANNA GO? YOU WANNA GO, MOTHER EFFER?!"

"Maybe he's winning everything because he's not over? And his songs are way better than Lucky Rabbit's Foot? Like maybe you just suck?"

"I wish Castiel wasn't so nice, cuz he could tear this bitch apart."

"Petition for Castiel to fight back because she's an irrelevant one hit wonder."

"Hey remember how Castiel is a lil angel and has never done anything wrong? Hey remember how this girl is nothing? Hmm, I wonder why Castiel wins stuff and she doesn't."

"I bet she's just trying to pretend she's not a super fan."

"EVERYBODY BETTER BACK UP BECAUSE NOBODY MESSES WITH CASTIEL NOVAK AND GETS AWAY WITH IT."

"I just want Castiel to reply to this. Idc if he handles it gracefully or not but he can't ignore her. I want some sass."

"This tweet has been everywhere. How has he not seen it yet? Or is he just ignoring it?"

"I wish Castiel didn't try to be everyone's angel all the time, because people think they can just walk all over him like that and he won't do anything. I want a sassy Cassy, even just once to tell her to back off."

"Can Castiel just end her and we can all move on like she never existed?"

He smiles at this. It's nice that everyone seems to be on his side. He's sure it wouldn't be like that on Twitter, but fan pages about him tend to be more biased in his about. It's s nice change.

He can't help but notice how many people want him to fight back. Does this happen every time someone takes a pass at him, and it just gets drowned out in the people siding against him? He wouldn't be surprised. He must miss a lot from people that love him because the people who hate him are just as loud.

Maybe he will fight back. A plan is formulating in his mind, one that's sure to get people talking. He already knows it won't go over well, but that doesn't mean he can't go through with it.
