Peyton stood in the kitchen with only underwear and a long t-shirt on. Chad was off handling things with his music or something, she didn't really know. Well, she was stuck at home, making tea while waiting for her soon to be sister-in-law, Ashely. Ashely was freaking out over the phone about a night ago, so Peyton invited her over to talk it out, cause why not?

Peyton pulled the tea bag out the water and tossed it in the trash. She then picked up the mug that held her tea and began to make her way to the living room. As she approached the living room, there was a light knock on the door. She placed the mug down on the coffee table and headed towards the door.

Opening it, of course Ashely stood behind it.

"Afternoon dear sister." Ashely casually walked in like nothing happened last night over the phone at 2am.

"Want to explain to me why the hell you were freaking out? We were having a casual conversation then it's like you were possessed." Peyton may have exaggerated a bit but she was pretty spot on.

Ashley sighed in defeat, "Fine. I've been hanging out with Logan a lot recently and I don't know, I might like her. But—"

"Rachel." Peyton finished Ashely's sentence, "You feel guilty cause you think you're moving on too fast."

"It's like you can read my mind." A small smile formed on her lips but quickly faded, "I don't know what to do. I still love Rachel, deeply. I don't want my love for her to hold he back from being happy."

"Then be happy. The whole reason people divorce is to get out of a relationship they weren't happy in to be happy. And with Logan, I say go for it."

"Really?" Ashely still wasn't quite sure.

"Go before I do." Peyton told as she picked up her tea.

Ashely rose from the couch and made her way to the door. Just as she opened it, a thought came across her mind. She had to make sure . . . for her brother's sake. She turned to Peyton, "You're happy?"

Peyton smiled at her friend, "The happiest."

As soon as Ashely left, Peyton felt this sudden pain on her side. It was like a needle being pulled in and out through the same hole, over and over. She sunk to the floor, wincing in pain. She didn't know what it was or what caused it, she just wanted it to be over.

While Peyton was enduring excruciating pain on the living room floor, Chad was with skills and mouth at some baby shop. He wanted to do something nice. He wanted to make room for the baby. Even though they didn't have much space, he thought with the help of his friends, he could move things around. Though he kind of lied to Peyton a little bit, he did it for the sake of the surprise.

They knew nothing about babies, they thought it wouldn't be so hard.

"We don't even know the gender. So how are we supposed to know what color to paint the walls?" Skills ask, looking through all the color samples.

"Gender neutral colors then. Maybe orange?" Chad wasn't too sure himself.

"Every color is gender neutral." Mouth turned to Chad.

"I know. But when people have gender reveal parties, they usually use pink or blue to describe the sex." Chad mentioned to him.

Skills turned to the orange pallets, "Ok, but which orange? Cause there are thousands!"

Chad just looked at skills before patting his shoulder and heading off in the other direction with mouth following behind.

While skills figured out what shade of orange would be nice, mouth and Chad were looking at cribs along with other baby things.

After about an hour of looking around, they reunited in the baby clothes section. Chad picked out a few things, skills and mouth did the same. But they couldn't get too much, sure they had good, stable working jobs but they weren't famous or anything.

After sharing what each of them picked out, they all headed to the cashier. Chad paid for everything and soon they stuffed everything in the trunk. They all got in skills' car and he drove them to Chad and Peyton's place.

Once they arrived and the car was parked, they began to take what they bought from the trunk into the apartment. After everything was set in the living room, Chad placed his hands on his hips making his thinking face.

"We should probably take out the washer and dryer first." He told the boys who stood at opposite ends of the pile in the living room.

They all agreed and headed to the laundry room. Chad could definitely feel it, it was going to be a great day.

Peyton was in her office, looking through some paperwork. It was quiet, not noisy. That was until she heard arguing from what sounded like Mia and some other girl. She groaned from getting up from behind her desk. She headed out the office and into the studio, Mia was arguing with Alex.

Peyton walked up to the controls and pressed the green button that allows her to speak through the mic so the others on the other side could hear her.

Peyton held down the green button and leaned into the mic, "Y'all do know i can hear you from my office, right? And Alex, why are you here?"

The two girls walked out of the studio and stood in front of Peyton.

"Alex thinks she can sing." Mia told Peyton in a sarcastic tone.

Alex scoffed, "I can and unlike you two, Chad is kind to newcomers."

With the roll of her eyes, Alex walked off. Mia was happy now that she was gone but Peyton was just left confused. She didn't even say anything to Alex but it didn't matter anyway. Alex is Alex, what more is there?

Peyton just huffed before heading back to her office. She just stood there with her arms crossed over her chest, staring at the papers on her desk. In that moment, she decided to just call it day and go home.

Having your own label has its fun moments, but most of time is just boring paperwork that no one has time for. On her way out of Tric, she said bye to Chase and Mia. Once she got in her car, she drove herself home— hoping to be greeted by a friendly face.

Peyton stepped out of the car and began to walk to the front door. She put the key in the lock and twisted the knob, opening the door. That friendly face she hoped to see, he was there. He was standing in front of Peyton with his hands behind his back.

"I have two surprises for you." Chad told Peyton as he leaned in for a quick kiss. After the kiss broke, he pulled flowers from behind his back. "These are for you— to best the fiancé in the world."

Peyton placed her bag on the floor before taking the flowers. She gave them a little sniff and they smelled so good. Chad gently took Peyton's hand and began to guide her to the transformed baby room but before they even got there, she felt that sudden pain again on her side that she felt earlier.

The flowers immediately dropped out her hand as she dropped to the floor. Chad ran to her side, freaking out. He didn't know what the hell was going on. He wanted to call 9-1-1 but by the time they would get there, he could've been driving to the hospital so that's what he did. He helped Peyton up and got her to the car and drove her to the hospital.

He didn't understand it, he couldn't comprehend it. All he knew was that his fiancé and baby were in trouble and he needed someone to talk to. He needed Brooke.
