"He hit you pretty hard." Peyton placed an ice pack on Chad's eye as he attempted to sit up. Peyton was sitting across from him on the floor, holding the ice pack to his eye.

He groaned, "Thanks." Chad finally sat upright.

"I'm not gonna feel guilty for having feelings for you, I'm not gonna feel ashamed for wanting to be with you right after Luke." She told him.

Chad placed his hand on Peyton's as her's still held up the ice pack. He then took the ice pack down along with her hand. Chad and Peyton were only a few inches from each other. Since he wanted to be closer, he pinched her shirt and lightly tugged on it. They were now too close for comfort. Chad brushed Peyton's hair behind her ear before leaning in and pressing his lips onto her's.

The two continued to press one another's lips onto each other's. For some reason they couldn't get up from the floor, it was almost like a safe place for them. They were finally getting what they both been yearning for, that was each other.

Chad thought he was on cloud nine. Ten years later and he's finally back with the one who he always wanted. They finally pulled away for a breath and just looked at each other. A smile soon appeared on Chad's face then Peyton's. It was clear to say they were happy or at least getting there.

The silence soon broke, both of them hearing the crowd cheer.

"We could always stay in here?" Peyton suggested.

Chad soon stood up, then helping Peyton up. She followed him to the pool table. He propped her up and soon once again, pressed his lips onto her's. It was so easy like they never broke up. I guess that's what love feels like.

It's been about two weeks and as usual there is stale drama. Brooke let Peyton move back in with her until Chad got a place. Chad as of last week started coming by the house most days of the week just cause he can't believe his reality is real. As usual, he knocked on the door at 8:45 in the morning. Once again, like every morning, the sawyer girl opens the door.

"Coffee?" Chad offered once he saw his beautiful girlfriend's face.

Peyton pulled Chad through the door by his arm, so flies wouldn't get in. She then took the coffee and sipped it.

"Mm, this is good." She commented on the coffee.

"It's that new place, Pete's Coffee." Chad smiled and Peyton nodded listening.

Since Peyton was still in her pajamas which is just a tank top and shorts, she parted ways from Chad and headed back to her room while he sat on the couch in the living room. Chad soon rose up and slid his phone in his back pocket. He walked over to Peyton's room and slightly opened the door then saw she was halfway dress, that's when he opened it all the way.

He walked inside towards her, then wrapping his arms around her waist once he reached her.

He kissed her cheek, "I got to go."

Peyton turned to face him, "Do you have to leave now? Can't you just wait until Alex gets here?"

"You just don't want me to meet her." He crossed his arms over his chest, "You're jealous but it's ok, she is thee Alex Dupre."

"I have nothing to be jealous about." Peyton defended herself, "I have everything that I want in life. My friends, my record label and the one thing that she doesn't have . . . that she'll never have."

"And what's that?" Chad chuckled.

"You." She simply put it.

Chad nodded his head, while turning on his heels to head towards the front door. As he began to leave the room, "I smell jealously!"

And of course Peyton overheard, which was his intention. "Yeah, you smell your ass not coming over tonight!"

"Love you!" Chad lastly said before opening the front door and closing it shut behind so he can head to Clothes Over Bros before Brooke kills him for being late.

Lucas has not been able to pick up his laptop and write since the breakup. It sucked knowing she was happy and that he isn't the guy who's putting a smile on her face. He should've known that this would happen since she took forever to give him an answer about the engagement. He was just so stupid in love that he couldn't see it. That's what hurts him the most . . . he could've saved himself from this heartbreak if he wasn't so stupid in love.

He sighed tossing Peyton's things into a box. I mean sure he was angry, but it was the least he could do. He continued to look around the house, as music blast through his ears. Picking things up, one by one and just tossing them in the box he carried around. It wasn't just one box, it was around three.

Time has flown by and it was four in the afternoon. Lucas stuck the boxes in the backseat of his car before driving off to Red Bedroom Records.

It only took him — say twenty minutes to get there. Once he pulled up in the parking lot of Tric, it was easy for him to just get out and grabbed the boxes. You would think he would reminisce on the times he spent out there with Peyton, but it didn't cross his mind. He just wanted to get in and out. And so he walked up those steps, opened the door, and he walked past the bar to the studio.

He was hoping just a little bit that he wouldn't run into her but considering how small this town is— that was unfeasible.

He cleared his throat as he walked into her office. She was on the phone but quickly said she would call back after she saw Lucas standing in the doorway.

"I thought I'd bring your stuff. There's another box." He placed the two he had in his hands on the pool table.

"I could've just swung by...." She trailed off.

"Yeah, I don't know about that." He shook his head. "Well uh, I'm gonna go get that box." Lucas turned on his heels and headed to the door.

"Luke, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." You could hear the sadness in her tone.

Lucas has his back turned to her still with his head down, "No you're not." And with that, he carried onto getting the last box out his car.
