Its been two weeks since peyton saw Brooke and Chad making out. She hasn't said anything yet, cause she's waiting to see if they were gonna mention it first. That would be the mature thing to do, but as right now, she was getting ready for the ravens game. She planned on getting there early to see the coach.
She slipped on her jean jacket before grabbing her stuff off her dresser and making her way downstairs. It was the first raven's game of the season and since Lucas and her got back together, she had to go— for herself and Lucas. She finally reached downstairs. She immediately went to the front door and opened it, then left to the high school. Nathan and them had already left a little while ago.
.
Peyton parked the car in front of the building. She got out and on her way inside, she locked her car back up. She went to Whitey's old office and found Lucas turned around in the spinning chair, thinking perhaps.
"Knock, knock." Peyton tapped her knuckle on the open door.
Lucas turned the chair and a smile grew on his face once he saw her. "This is a surprise." He stood up.
Peyton walked over to him and he wrapped his arms around her waist, "I wanted to give the coach good luck before the big game." She smiled.
"You're all the luck I need." Lucas planted a quick peck on her lips. He made his way to the door, "Got to get to the team, but I'll see you in a little bit."
Peyton left the office soon after him to go look for the girls.

"Hales, where did you say the year books were again?" Brooke asked and as she came into the light, Peyton was present. "Hey, P."
Peyton just gave her a little smile. It wasn't even a smile really, more like a curve of the lips that formed into a shape that wasn't all nice, but Peyton gave off the impression that it was.
"So uh, Millie this is my best friend Peyton." Brooke introduced her assistant to her best friend.
Mille and Peyton shook hands, time went on its way.
.
The girls were all around the library, talking and just enjoying each other's company. Brooke and Peyton haven't been back to the school since graduation and that was a long time ago. So of course, they were reminiscing it with their new friends and old.
"Remember that time when the ravens took Lucas' clothes?" Brooke laughed at the thought.
"I still can't believe I missed that." Haley sounded almost disappointed but grateful she didn't, cause for her that would be weird.
"Remember that time you lied to your friend?" Peyton blurt out, no hesitation or second thoughts as she glanced at Brooke.
"Excuse me?" Brooke questioned as she crossed her arms over her chest.
Millicent got up from the table, "Ok, maybe we should go now." She made her way towards the exit.
"Why didn't you tell me about you and Chad? Why lie about it?" Peyton drilled Brooke with questions.
Brooke was hesitant. She didn't know what to say, so she sighed and stared at Peyton for the longest minute possible. She bounced her gaze around from Peyton to Haley, Mia then Millie and then back at Peyton. No words still came out her mouth, nada.
"Nothing? Seriously?" Peyton had her arms crossed too when she walked a tad closer to Brooke.

As the girls were stuck in the library, the game had only just begun. Jamie was sitting on the bleachers while his dad and uncle were on the sidelines prepping the team to victory.... at least they hoped.
"Ok, our first game, we got this." Lucas started, "Just have fun out there and do your best." He encouraged the team.
"On three!" Nathan yelled, "One... two... three—"
"RAVENS!" The team yelled in unison.
The team broke and scattered across the court, while Nathan and Lucas just gave each other hopeful glances.
The first quarter was finally done and that's when the team took a rest on the benches. Jamie made his way on the sideline to his dad. He tapped Nathan on the leg, "Where's mommy?" Jamie grew quite concerned.
Nathan took a quick skim around the bleachers and he wondered the same thing. He sent Jamie back to the bleachers before heading over to Lucas.
"Hey..." Nathan leaned close to Lucas' ear, "Have you seen Haley?"
"I was gonna ask the the same thing about Peyton." Lucas mentioned.
Nathan tapped his fingers on his pants, "I'll give them a call." And with that, Nathan parted from the court to step out to call Haley. Just as he was waiting for her to answer, the second quarter began.

"This is why I didn't want to tell you, Peyton! Why do you even care?! You're with Lucas!" Brooke ask the most obvious question.
"Look how far girl code has gotten us?" Peyton spoke in a more calmer voice.
Brooke shook her head, "Girl code never even existed."
"Because of you." Peyton rose her brows. Mia was about to intervene but she decided to not because she thought the situation was finally settling, but only if she knew sooner how wrong she was.
"You and Nathan were broken up!" Brooke rose her voice one again.
"For like five seconds!" Peyton yelled back.
"Since we're going down memory lane, remember Lucas and I? Unlike you and Nathan, me and Lucas weren't broken up!" Brooke shot back.
"Right." Peyton nodded, "There's one minor detail that you forgot."
Brooke darted her eyes back at Peyton from where she was staring, "And that is?"
"We never had sex." Peyton emphasis on sex, making it impeccably clear that Lucas and her never had sex unlike Nathan and Brooke.
Brooke rolled her eyes as she walked to some other area in the library and Peyton did the same.

The game finally finished and the ravens lost. As usual Lucas gave them a pep talk and Nathan went to the library to get the girls. After Lucas finished his talk with the team, he got Jamie and went to go meet everyone else in front of the school.
He walked out with Jamie holding his hand. Jamie saw Haley and immediately ran to her as Lucas continued to walk over to Peyton. Everyone said their see you laters and made their way to their cars. Of course most of them drew home while others didn't.
Peyton decided to stay the night as Lucas'. It was a little pass Jamie's bedtime, so they obviously went home as well. Millie and Mia went to go live it up. They of course asked Brooke if she wanted to tag along, but she declined and instead went back to the hotel where her boyfriend awaits.
As Brooke drove back to that hotel, she had a lot of things to think about and one of those many things was her relationship with Chad.
