It was a Saturday afternoon and the girls were gathered at Haley's house in the living room. Peyton and Haley presented their idea to the rest of the girls about the wedding invitations. Now the only thing left was to make them, then send them out and Peyton knew exactly who was invited. Before hand, she had asked Chad to make a list of people who he wants to invite and so she brought it with her.
Brooke had that list in her hand. She was reading over it. As she read over it, she came across Rachel's name. She glanced up at Ashely who was sitting next to Mia, then she pulled Peyton to the side— to the kitchen.
"Did you read over this list? Ashely just signed the divorce papers, I don't think inviting rachel is the best decision." Brooke was concerned of her friend's feelings.
"I can't do anything about it. It's Chad's list. He's really close to rachel, she's like his other sister." Peyton tried to explain.
"I know but what about ash?" Brooke's eyes wandered towards Ashely.
Peyton looked towards her as well, "She seems fine to me. Besides, I heard she's been hanging around that new principal. And if she has a problem with Rachel being there, she can talk to her brother." Peyton shrugged her shoulders, "Simple as that."
Brooke agreed and they both made their way back to the group to finally began forming the invitations.

"Is this what girls normally do? Huddle together and plan a wedding?" Chad ask amongst the boys, he was at Tric day drinking with Nathan, skills, clay, chase, and mouth.
Nathan shook his head, "You worry too much, man."
Chad nodded, "You know what, I do." He waved chase over, "You think you can make me one of those special drinks of yours?" He must've been wishing for death itself cause rumor has it, chase's special drinks aren't that great.
Within less than a minute, chase placed Chad's drink in front of him. It was blue, Chad thought it was pretty cool. Chad brought the glass up to his lips and sipped the blue drink. His reaction was indescribable. The boys just snickered and chase, well he felt a little sad for himself.
Chase pouted, "Seriously, not you too. It can't be that bad." He picked up the drink he gave Chad and took a sip from it. Evidently, he had the same reaction Chad did. Chase cleared his throat, "Never again."
"Never again." The boys agreed in unison.
Unexpectedly, Alex walked into Tric, passing the boys who sat at the bar not exactly sure what to do with their day. Chad was watching as Alex walk passed them and into the studio. He was wondering why she was headed towards the studio. She obviously couldn't sing, to his knowledge at least. Just out of curiosity, he got up and headed to the studio.
He opened the door and saw Alex near the controls.
"So you sing?" Chad had his hands in his pockets has he stood next to the door.
Alex jumped, turning around startled, "What?"
Chad began slowly walking towards to her, "Do you . . . sing?" He gestures to the studio that they were standing in.
"In my own time." Alex was a bit shy about it.
"You want to give it a try?" He was kind with his words. If signing is something she likes to do, he didn't want to be in the way of that.
Alex walked in the room behind the glass as did Chad. He set everything up and simply told her, "Show me what you got."

Peyton and them just finished making the wedding invitations. Peyton was putting the rest of the finished invitations in a bag when Brooke tapped her on the shoulder.
Brooke bent down and whispered in Peyton's ear, "Meet me at my house in an hour."
With a smile on her face, Brooke practically skipped out the door. She was excited to show Peyton the dress she created for the wedding, she was happy for her friend but of course everyone had their own drama going on.
Her and Julian were bickering yet again and this time about Chad. Somehow in her thoughts, she believed that maybe he was jealous, which makes sense of why he's always nitpicking every little thing Chad did. It was like he was obsessed with him which she didn't understand, but then again, she could be wrong.
Peyton was picking up the last of her things before she headed to the door. Haley had left an hour early because there was an emergency at the cafe, so Peyton was there to close the door on her way out.
After dumping everything in the backseat of her car, she ran back up to the door to lock it. She never really gave Haley and Nathan back the key since she moved out. She thought about it, but it's good to have for emergencies— that was her excuse at least. Once it was secure, she made her way back to her car and began to drive to her place before heading to Brooke's soon.

Brooke had the dress on one of her models, she was so excited for Peyton to see her handy work. As she was applying a few final touches, there was a light knock at the door. She quickly grabbed the sheet off the couch and put it over the dress so she can reveal it to Peyton. Brooke then ran to the door in her heels and happily opened it, already knowing who it was.
"You are going to love it." She spoke as Peyton walked in, "I put a lot of you into it."
Brooke soon closed the front door and ran over to the dress. That smile never left her face. She was too excited. She squealed a bit as she pulled the blanket off the manikin.
Peyton was speechless, which made Brooke a tad nervous. She couldn't tell if Peyton loved the dress or hate it. Her expression was indescribable if Brooke were to say. After a moment of silence, Brooke was more than eager to hear her friend's opinion.
"So . . do you like it?" Brooke was a bit nervous of what she was going to say.
Peyton had tears welling up in her eyes. She was trying so hard not to cry, but she couldn't help it. She took her hands and began to wipe her eyes, "I love it." She crooked out.
Brooke wasn't sure if those were sad or happy tears, "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, no im fine." Peyton said between sniffles, "I'm just really happy."
"Do you want to try on the dress?" Brooke ask as if Peyton was a baby.
"Yeah." Peyton spoke softly, her nose still stuffy.
Brooke gently took the dress off the manikin, then handed it to her friend. Peyton made her way to the bathroom while Brooke sat in the living room, waiting.
Maybe about a couple minutes later, the door had opened. Julian had just arrived. Brooke messaged him earlier about wanting to talk, like the mature adults they are. She just didn't expect him to be home so early.
"Thought you were coming home later?" Brooke rose from the couch.
Julian was placing his things down on the counter, "Cut short today."
Before Brooke could say anything else, Julian left to the bedroom. As soon as the door closed, the bathroom door opened.
Brooke stood there in awe. She was so happy for her best friend.
"You look beautiful. Did you look in the mirror?" Brooke admired her from a distance.
Peyton nodded, "Yeah. Thank you, Brooke. Really." She gave Brooke a light smile before heading back into the bathroom to change out of the dress.

Hours had past since Peyton left. Today, tonight was Jamie's talent show but Brooke made an excuse of why she couldn't go. She did feel bad, but she had her reasons.
She had just finished taking out the laundry from the dryer. She picked up the basket and began to carry it downstairs. As she stepped off the last step, Julian got up off the couch and walked over to her.
"I know you asked me to drop this but I can't. Give me one good reason why you want to stay so badly." He crossed his arms over his chest.
Brooke walked past him and slammed the basket on the counter, "Family! Friends! What more of a reason do you need!?"
He simply sighed, "What are we suppose to do?"
He followed Brooke to the bedroom and watch her grab her keys and purse.
"I don't know, Julian. Right now, I just need to clear my head." And with that, she walked out the door in the pouring rain.
Julian didn't want her going out, considering the weather but he understood.

Brooke continued to drive in the rain. It was coming down really hard, so for a second she thought she saw Chuck as she began to drive across the bridge. As she slowly continued to drive further onto the bridge, it was clear. Chuck was standing outside all soaked.
Brooke rushed out the car and quickly ran over to him, "What are you doing out here?"
Chuck pointed behind to the truck that was tipped over. Brooke told him to get in her truck before she ran over to the truck. She saw Jamie, Madison, and Ms. Lauren. Madison and Jamie were tugging at their seatbelts to get out, while Lauren was unconscious in the driver's seat.
"Aunt, Brooke!" Jamie eyes lit up, like a little glimpse of hope.
"I'm going go get you guys out of here, ok?" Brooke told the young kids.
First she helped out Lauren, which thankfully she eventually woke up. Then she helped Madison. When she went to help Jamie, it got a little tough. His seatbelt wouldn't budge, she didn't know what to do. She quickly got up, and told Lauren to take the kids to the hospital.
She ran back over to Jamie and continued to help out. She kept tugging and tugging, but it just wouldn't budge.
As she kept tugging on Jamie's seatbelt, Julian drove around looking for Brooke.
Moments later, he was caught on the bridge. As he began to drive across he saw Brooke, he didn't recognize the kid but either way, he got out the car as quick as he could. He ran over to the tipped truck and began to help Brooke get Jamie out, once he recognized the kid.
After pulling a little bit more, he realized that wasn't going to work. So he ran back to the car and got some kind of weapon out the trunk. He ran back to Brooke and Jamie, beginning to help using the weapon.
Out of nowhere there was a car coming, their headlights were beaming so bright. Julian ran out in front it, arms in the air— they were flailing around.
"Stop!" Julian waved his hands, as he stood in the middle of the bridge.
The car didn't stop though, it kept going and Julian kept yelling . . . until it was too late. The car hit the truck, resulting it falling into the lake along with Brooke and Jamie. As the car drove away, Julian jumped into the lake.
He swam into the car and began to help Brooke out. She begged him to stop and to help Jamie first. After they shared a quick, passionate kiss— he went to Jamie's aid.

Chad and Peyton sat in the backseat as Nathan drove while Haley kept changing the station on the radio. They were just now approaching the bridge. Though it was raining hard, Haley was able to see just a tiny bit into the distance.
"Stop the car! Is that Jamie?" Haley looked over at Nathan before rushing out the passenger seat.
Soon everyone else followed behind and got out. Haley and Nathan ran over to Jamie as Chad held Peyton close, approaching the boy and his parents.
"Jamie, what are you doing out here?" Haley ask, kneeling down in front of him.
"Aunt Brooke is dead." He slightly mumbled.
Everyone looked passed him and saw Julian giving Brooke cpr. Nathan told Jamie to get in the car before he followed everyone over to Brooke and Julian. They all watched as he tried to bring her back to life. Haley wrapped her arms around Nathan's waist, hoping that she wakes up.
Peyton and Chad didn't want to believe it, that this could be the end. They were counting on Julian right now, all of them were. Soon enough, julian's fist met the concrete street. He began punching and punching as tears streamed down his face. Everyone thought it was the end by julian's reaction.
Peyton began to cry on Chad's shoulder. Nathan and Haley were still holding each other as Haley reached for Chad's hand. As everyone began to slowly process that she wasn't going to wake up, Julian began chest compressions again. They were a little confused but not that confused, cause moments later, Brooke coughed up water.
Everyone felt a major weight lift off their chest, sighs of relief— especially Julian. Brooke continued to cough as she sat up. Julian immediately brought her in for a hug and the only thought in his mind was he never wants to lose her, no matter how many arguments they have. In that moment he did something extremely impulsive.
"Marry me...?" He breathed out.
