Two months. It's been two months. Though she was the one who called it off with Chad, she still missed him. She felt lonely without him, but she had to do what was right for her at the moment. She got up from the bed and immediately headed to the bathroom, just as she walking in closing the door behind her— there was a knock on her front door. She groaned as she reopens the bathroom door, then heading to the front door.

In the those two months, she managed to buy a house and move in with her best friend who might've cost her relationship with Chad. Brooke doesn't blame Peyton but just like every person, Chad has flaws, holes, and secrets and looking back a Brooke's past relationships, those don't sit too well with her.

She opened the front door and there he was— the dark brown haired boy, Julian Baker.

He was holding flowers with a smile on his face, "Morning Brooke."

"Julian!" Brooke exclaimed, taking the flowers then putting them under her nose to smell them. Julian just chuckled at Brooke's cheery tone. "Do you want to come inside?" She ask him.

"Actually.." He glanced at his watch, "I'm kind of late to see Lucas but I'll see you later." He quickly pecked her cheek before heading back to his car.

Brooke and Julian had gotten quite comfortable with each other. They first met each other after he met Lucas about his books few weeks back. Since then, Brooke grew quite a liking of him and he her.

Chad sat on the couch at skill's and mouth's place. He was watching The Vampire Diaries while eating cereal. He didn't take it all that well when Brooke decided to call it off. He kept his eyes glued to the screen while Millie approached from behind.

"Are you watching The Vampire Diaries?" She questioned as she looked at the screen.

"One of my favorite shows. Stelena is the superior ship, even though she doesn't deserve stefan." Chad kept his eyes glued to the tv.

"Damn straight." Mouth chimed in as he walked out the room, fixing his tie.

"Are you comparing your relationship with Brooke to stelena?" Millie ask. She was still standing behind the couch, trying to comprehend what was happening.

"I'm Stefan, Brooke is elena and that Julian guy is damon." Chad paused the tv and turned to look at Millie, "We're suppose to be together, but she doesn't deserve me."

After wallowing for a good month and a half, Chad came to a conclusion that Brooke didn't need him nor want him anymore, he was gonna feel the same. He made a vow with himself that if Brooke ever came back crawling to him, he would reject her.

It's quite clear to say, she left him heartbroken. Him talking to Millie made him realize that he may not need Brooke to make him complete.

After Millie left to Clothes Over Bros, Chad made his way to Tric, where he ran into Mia. Mia invited him into the studio to help her record, lucky for him peyton wasn't there.

"You need to get over her." Mia set up their mics. She went over to the piano and picked up her music sheet, then made her way back to Chad. "I only written half of the song, you right the other half. Tell me how you feel. It can be a duet." She shrugged, handing the sheet to him.

He took the sheet and started to read the lyrics. Only within a couple of minutes he finished and figured out a title.

"Alright, let's record." He stood up from the bench.

"It's only been twenty minutes. You're done already?" She was shocked of the time spam.

"I guess I'm just that good." Chad dust his shoulders off in a proud way making a funny expression. Of course Mia reacted by lightly chuckling.

They soon got behind their mics and started singing. As the words left Chad's mouth, it was like a story. Part of it was about Peyton and the other was about Brooke. Now he felt like elena. Elena loved both the brothers but she ended up with Damon. The real question is, which one is stefan and which one is damon?

Getting back with Peyton was the least on his mind. Right now, all he wanted was Brooke back. If that's the case, there shouldn't be a reason to think of Peyton. But he is and like everyone else, he can't control how he feels— whatever that may be.

As they approached the second to last verse, Peyton walked into the studio. Mia and Chad were so into the song that they didn't notice Peyton, which gave Peyton a listen to the last bits of the song. She listened to the words and as she did, she was unknowingly staring at Chad.

The way he sang the words and the words itself, she felt them. Of course it brought her down memory lane.

The second the song finished, Peyton walked in while clapping her hands. "Wow, what's the name of that one?"

"Peyton—" Chad wasn't expecting her. He was and wasn't. The only reason he agreed to sing with Mia was because Peyton wasn't around and the fact that she didn't mind being around him, maybe there was hope for a potential friendship after all.

Again, is Peyton damon or stefan? If we think about it, damon ended up with the second love of his life. Elena did and didn't. She fell in love with damon while still being with Stefan. Chad was always in love with Peyton but this is the present, not the past. So today, Chad still loves Peyton. He loved her when he was with Brooke, he just didn't know it.

Chad and Peyton kept their eyes locked on one another's. Unexpectedly, Haley walked in— unannounced. So yeah, she saw the intense eye contact between her friends. Let's just say she was not pleased. In that moment all that she can hope was not another love triangle. If there was one, she thought it would be Chad, Brooke, and Peyton. Maybe even Lucas, Brooke, and Peyton. But Chad, Lucas and Peyton— she didn't see that coming.

"Mhm." Haley cleared her throat, "Am I missing something?" She looked in between the two blondes.

The two love struck adults completely forgot they weren't the only ones in the room.

Chad didn't know what he was feeling. Peyton was confused as well and instantly felt guilty cause she loves Lucas so much and falling for his best friend ( well ex best friend ) all over again would just shatter him.
