The behemoth roars. Shaun's dad, James, grips his shotgun. "Piper," he pleads, "I'll fight off the behemoth, you take Dogmeat back to Diamond City. If I don't make it, find Shaun, and take care of him."

"We can't leave you here!" Piper exclaims.

"Do you really think we can stop that thing!?!" James asks, "listen, I'll catch up. Just go to Diamond City and focus on finding Shaun. The man had a scar. Very well organized. Weird hazmat suits. Very brutal, remorse-less. Start from there."

Shaun takes some jet and reloads. Piper and Dogmeat flee to Diamond City. Dogmeat waits at the gate and refuses to enter.

"Cmon Dogmeat," Piper orders. Dogmeat doesn't move. He whimpers and looks out towards the direction they came from. Clearly waiting for James.

"He's not coming boy," Piper sighs.

Dogmeat whimpers and goes with Piper. Piper goes to see Nick Valentine.

"Hey," Nick asks, "weren't you with Jason? Where is he?"

Piper sighs, "we were attacked by a behemoth. He stayed behind and... It's clear what happened next."

"Oh my," Nick replies, "that's tragic. Listien, I know you two were freinds, so if you wanna talk about it I'm here."

"Thanks Nick," Piper replies, "but I'm alright. Besides we've got bigger fish to fry. He wanted me to find Shaun. He gave a description of the kidnapper as well."

"Well, let's hear it."

Piper explains what the kidnapper looked like.

"I see," Nick replies, "sounds like Kellogg to me. He has a house here in Diamond City, let's go give it a look."

The trio head to Kellogg's house.

"Damn," Nick mumbles, "it's locked."

"Well there's no way in hell the mayor's giving either of us the key," Piper replies, "so what do we do?"

"We could steal the key," Nick suggests, "hack the computer to open the safe. Can you create a distraction?"

"Sure," Piper replies, "I can handle it."

The trio head to the Mayor's office.

"Hey I need to speak to The Mayor," Piper greets.

"You again!" The mayor exclaims angrily as he sees Piper, "I thought I told you to stay out of my office!"

"Freedom of press," Piper smirks in an irking fashion to distract the mayor, "just cause some bombs fell doesn't mean our standards have to."

Nick sneaks to the computer and hacks while the mayor is arguing with Piper. He gets the key and sneaks out.

"You know what," Piper sighs, "I've got another lead anyways."

Piper leaves and meets up with Nick at Kellogg's house.

"OK," Nick explains, "we need to find any clues. Anything at all. OK?"

"I got it," Piper replies. Dogmeat barks happily.

"Great," Nick replies, "now let's go." Nick slowly opens the door...
