When you two find a baby in a building full with mutants

You can't request scenarios about children or being parents. I just don't like writing those. I only accepted this because I liked the idea and already knew a few ideas for it and it was my first request on this book so I didn't want to decline it.

Codsworth:

If you think of abandoning it, he will gasp and say that is cruel and he is ashamed to be travelling with you before telling you to imagine this is young Shaun and someone comes on him and then leaves him, all alone with no food or water. If you do take it back, he will praise you, saying he knew you would do the right thing.

Preston:

He immediately picked up the baby, already forgetting you are both in a building full of mutants, saying there is a baby so you should both bring it to safety. You tried to speak, but he didn't listen, he was already going to the exit, wishing to bring this poor baby to a safe place and get it better because it did not look okay. When you angrily said he just ran away from the mission and now you can redo this whole damn thing, he huffed and said this baby's safety is more important than some mission. When you shouted the baby isn't gonna give you caps and put food on the table, he frowned, knowing you are right and this mission had many caps involved that could let you buy good food, but he also found the baby important, so he promised he will try extra hard when you both try to attack this building again but now he first wants this baby safe and make sure it is healthy.

Danse:

He said bringing a baby along is dangerous, but an admirable thing to do. When you said you aren't risking walking through these halls when there are probably eleven mutants waiting in the next room, so you suggested making a plan to get it out of here safely. You both came up with a quick plan. Clear the building, take any food for the baby then return for the baby and get it out of here. After you both did these four steps, went to the Brotherhood, who took the baby and promised to give it a good home. You couldn't help but frown, saying you feel as if you just handed a baby over to an army that will raise it to be a soldier instead of giving it to a caring family and let it grow up to be whatever it wants to be. Danse couldn't help but chuckle, claiming you sould rest to avoid thinking in such a weird way.

Piper:

She gasped and asked who would leave a baby behind. When you told her you are not bringing it along, she gasped, saying you are an awful being. So you both argued, you angrily saying that baby is basically an alarm for all nearby enemies and you are almost out of ammo, she kept angrily saying she refuses to leave a baby behind with these mutants. In the end you took it along because she wouldn't stop calling you an awful being. The whole way to Diamond City, she kept angrily muttering about how she can't believe you would have left it behind if she was not there. When you apologized, saying you were more focused on not dying by some very angry mutants than some baby you don't even know, she huffed and gave you the cold shoulder.

Nick:

You were both busy shooting mutants when suddenly the sound of a baby crying came. He immediately rushed to it. When you yelled it could be a trap, he yelled back if it isn't then there is a baby in danger. When you were done murdering the mutants, he returned, carefully holding a baby, nervously asking you to hold it because he's scared he will hurt it with his right hand or infect it with his dirty skin. So you took it over and he guarded you two while you both hurried out the building. He said to bring it to his office because he has some baby food there. You gave him a raised eyebrow so he mumbled he doesn't know how it got there either. At his office, he searched through some files, hoping to find something about a missing baby while you fed it. He let out a happy "ah-ha!" to signal he found something as he hurried to you, saying you both are lucky because there was indeed someone who reported a missing baby. So Nick handed the baby back to its parent, chuckling out for the parent to take better care of their child.

Hancock:

He chuckled and said to abandon it. When you turned around, ready to leave without it, he was quick to shout that was a joke before picking up the baby and trying to sooth it as it was loudly crying. So you shot the mutants that ran over while he rushed out the building, holding the baby to his chest to keep it safe as possible. At his town, he frowned, deep in thoughts as it laid on the coffee table aside the drugs so you awkwardly took the drugs out its reach. Hancock couldn't come up with anything so he suggested taking it to Diamond City, saying as weird as that place is, it is safer than this town. So you both took it to Diamond City and gave it to someone there to be taken care of. When back at home, he complained about missing the little fellow.

Cait:

She frowned and poked its head with her gun, only to flinch when it moved so she ran to you, tapping your shoulder in a hurry so you will stop looting and look. Both stared at it for an uncomfortably long time before she slowly asked if you two should leave it. When you mumbled that's kind of cruel, she said mutants are searching for you both outside and she ain't planning to die because you awaken some baby that will cry and probably already has some weird sickness that will kill it from being in this filthy dump. So after a few minutes of talking about it. You noticed it was already dying anyway, so both agreed on something you both feel awful about. You held your gun with a silencer to her but she whispered she has done many things but she refuses to do this. You gave her a frown before moving the gun better so it sat more comfortable in your hand as you walked to the baby. You whispered a sorry, put the gun to the baby's forehead and pulled the trigger. The second the blood flew, Cait let out a gasp and whispered you actually did it. When she saw how you didn't move your gun from its forehead, she slowly walked over, shakingly taking the gun from your hand and stuffing it away. When you whispered that was someone's baby, she gave you an upset look, whispering it was but you put it out of its misery before she took your hand, saying neither of you are in a state to fight the remaining mutants left so should both hurry outside.

Strong:

He will stare at it before huffing and saying it is small and weak and his brothers did not take care of it because it's only skin and bones and looks sick. When you looked, you said it's a baby, it's always like that, but with more fat and less sick-looking. He frowned and said it is more ugly than him before he slapped it off the table it laid on. You just stared at it, too shocked to move before shouting he just slapped a baby. He huffed and said small human is ugly and weak, deserved to die before he left, getting ready to kill the mutants in the next room.

Maccready:

He got this weird hope, he hoped it was your son, he hoped he could reunite you with your son. When he saw the baby, he let out a sigh, upset it wasn't your son before he picked it up, greeting it in a soft voice. He sneaked through the building, trying to find you. When he saw you fighting some mutant, he stayed back, making sure the baby is safe from any danger. When you were done, he hurried over, saying he found a baby. You made sure the path to the exit was clear of danger, he following close by. While both walking outside, he couldn't help but tear up. When you worriedly asked him what wrong is, he chuckled out of embarrassed, trying to wipe his cheek with his shoulder, saying he just remembered the first time he held his son. So you softly rubbed his back, staring at him with upset eyes as he tried not to cry while staring down at the baby, whispering he will find the baby a good home with caring parents. He did not stop searching till he found the baby a good and caring family. He was upset to give it away, but he waved at it as you both walked away from the family, saying he's very happy he was able to give it a good home.

Deacon:

He felt bad for the baby. The the baby was in this filthy place, no fat on its body, only skin and bones, probably terribly sick. He knew half way in the journey, it would die anyway so it isn't worth the danger. When you entered the room, saying you took out the mutants so can freely loot with no worries of danger, he didn't know whether he should stay quiet about the baby or not. He chose to move aside and say there is a bigger issue. He admitted he thinks you both should put an end to its pain. You eyed him so he mumbled this baby is already dying, it won't survive even if you two take it back, the next safe location is too far away and there is no food or safe water for it to drink. You asked him if he will kill it or you. He sniffed, nervously scratching his nose, muttering he will do it so you don't have to do this tragic thing. He paced around, trying to get the courage to put an end to this baby's suffering. Eventually he just pulled out his gun and shot it, only to drop the gun and curse, yelling he just murdered a baby. You tried to assure him he ended the baby's suffering, but he groaned and said he murdered it because he thought that was the right thing to do but for all he knows, it could have survived if you both found some food it could eat. So the walk back home was very awkward, he refused to talk, the whole walk back thinking about how awful he is for having done that. When you told him he did what he thought was right and you were gonna do the same, he just held up his hand to signal he isn't gonna talk to anyone right now and just needs to be alone.

Curie:

She gasped and said there is a baby. When you said it probably is infected, she checked it before smiling, saying the baby is totally okay and breathing. She brought it along, refusing to leave it behind, giving it constant attention and care. So while you fought the remaining mutants in this building, she hurried to the exit, gasping when a mutant blocked her path only to flinch when blood flew out its forehead before she thanked you while wiping the baby's head clean from the blood. She kept the baby safe the whole journey back, telling you whenever it needs something and suggesting you go look in some nearby houses for the supplies. She refused to give it to anyone till she has done a few interviews and made sure this person is good for the baby.

X6-88:

He will tell you to leave it, claiming it to be useless and it would only alarm nearby enemies you two are here while also needing constant care and supplies, supplies which neither of you have. When you mumbled leaving a baby behind is kind of cruel, he told you you can carry it along, but that is a giant risk and he will not be responsible if anything happens.

Dogmeat:

He will whimper and cover his ears when it began loudly crying. When you panicked, saying you don't know what it wants, he sniffed before cringing and booping its back with his nose, signaling it needs a diaper change. You couldn't help but cringe before saying you are definitely not doing that. You will slaughter anyone in sight, but that is too disgusting and you will definitely just puke at the smell. So you left it at a safe spot and ran away with Dogmeat, saying you will spread word about the baby and send someone to come get it so it's okay.

King:

You returned to his place with a baby, telling him you found it. So now you and most of the Kings were surrounding the King's table, watching the baby on it, all naming ideas, debating what to do with it. When it began crying, Rex whimpered while King frowned, saying he knew babies cry but this is loud. King suggested giving it to the Followers, who will know what to do, so you went and gave it to the Followers. While you were gone, King chuckled and talked to Rex, saying he's not that young anymore so maybe he should also get a baby and start a family with you.

Butch:

He will be too busy panicking over the super mutants to notice the baby, that was till you both exit the place and he saw you carrying it. His first question was, "Is that mine?!". So you slapped him against the back of his head, telling him to think before asking a question then you explained to him where you found it. You expected him to be bad with children, but he was actually good. He carried it most of the time so you could hold your weapon and focus on keeping enemies away. He fed it, changed it and would talk to it, sometimes pointing at you and asking it who his beautiful lover is before happily cheering your name. When you found the mother, you could see Butch's heart break as he had to give it up. When you asked him if he's okay, he nodded, mumbling he knew he couldn't keep it.
