✿ party time! Again! ✿

"Bailey are you ready?!" I call from the bottom of her stairs, putting on my converse. I decided to dress more casual this time for a party.

I just wore a black and white stripped shit, ripped jeans, and white converse. I tied a red flannel around my waist, incase it got cold, and I threw my hair in a ponytail.

Bailey began jogging down the stairs in her blue belly shirt, leggings, and beanie, also putting on her converse, but hers were black.

"Now I'm ready." Bailey panted fixing her shoes. She went to the kitchen and grabbed her car keys. "Okay let's go. Bye mom, bye dad!!" Bailey then shouted. I heard her parent reply back before I closed the door.

We got into her car and drove out into the street. The sun was almost gone and the sky was painted in colors.

Bailey turned on the radio and yes, we both screamed the lyrics to the songs.

After knocking on the too familiar door, a too familiar face opened it...no it was not Calum.
Instead, it was Luke.

'So much for trying to avoid him' I thought, hiding my expression with a grin.

"Ashlee, Bailey you guys made it!!" Luke practically screamed over the music. Luke moved out of the way and let us in.

"Where's Calum?!" Bailey exclaimed. I was already looking around for Calum, but when I think Luke pointed to a direction and Bailey started walking, I immediately followed.

We were approaching the dance floor and the music cannot get any louder. I saw Calum against a wall holding a red solo cup. He was talking to someone, and I soon realized it was Michael.

"Hey guys!!" I yell over the music, catching both of the guys' attention. "Ashlee, hey!!" Calum and Michael said at the exact same time. They both looked at each other and laughed.

"You just got here?" Michael asked. Bailey and I nodded. "Oh, why don't I get you guys a drink?" Michael offered.

"Oh no, I'm okay. Thank you though!" Bailey declined. But I agreed.

Michael began walking to the kitchen, where it was more quiet. He handed me a cup and I thanked him.

"I saw how uncomfortable you were since the music was really loud." Michael grinned. I finished pouring my drink and giggled.

"Just like last time, huh?" I smiled taking a sip. Michael nodded also taking a sip.

"So, are you staying over to help Calum after the party?" Michael asked, sounding like he was dreading the idea.

"Yup. I better get paid." I stated. Michael laughed and I smiled. "Tell that to Calum."

"Also, after the party, I'm uhm..." I paused taking a breath. "I'm gonna tell Luke that I like him."

Shit. After saying that to Michael now it's all over my head.

"Are you serious?!" Michael asked surprised. I nodded rapidly.

"I mean I only have a couple of hours to muster up the courage. But I might hide upstairs in one of the rooms. I'm not good with this type of thing." I answer nervously.

"Ashlee, you can do this. It's gonna lift a heavy burden off your chest." Michael pointed out. I agreed to his statement. "I've got your back okay? You can come to me, or your friends of course, if you need any help."

"Thank you so much, Michael. That really means a lot." I took a sip out of my cup. "I mean, what could possibly go wrong? Except the fact that I might break down in front of Luke or just plainly pass out... Or if Francesca might start to not like me- oh god..."

"Ashlee, Ashlee, look at me." Michael cut me off. He held me on my shoulders forcing me to look at him.

"Everything will be okay. Luke is gonna understand, as long as you accept his relationship and you tell him you won't interfere." Michael told me. I was only speechless.

'Damn this boy is good with advice...and his eyes look pretty tonight- oh shit am I staring- WAS IT QUIET FOR TOO LONG-'

"Maybe I am overreacting." I sighed putting down my cup on the counter. I looked into it's contents, just having a moment of thought.

I just needed to cut the staring. God it's so cringe-y now, that I'm thinking about it.

'Do I like Michael? What, no, Ashlee!! Focus!! You don't want to mess up tonight do you?! One thing at a time. First confession, then Michael. Just breath.'

I was too focused on trying to figure out what to say to Luke. Hell. I probably won't even have to say anything.

'Luke I know this might be weird, but please understand. I have nothing against you at all, but I've kept this secret.'

'Luke please don't be mad, but I've liked you for 4 months now. And ever since you and Francesca have been dating, it broke my heart. But I'm doing better now and I totally respect you guys' relationship!'

'I don't know how you'll react but...ever since you started dating Francesca, I began to fall in love with you.'

"Fuck, this is the most stressful thing I've ever done." I muttered to myself. Good thing the music completely masked my voice.

"Hey Ashlee!!" I hear Luke's voice. I look up wide eyed, finding his tall figure. I didn't want anything to do with him right now. Especially him.

Luke was approaching me, when I started to fake it. I acted as if I didn't hear him, then I walked off to the side. I didn't look back.

"Maybe I'll go upstairs." I whispered under my breath feeling the adrenaline rush I got from hiding from Luke.

The music was muffled when I made it up the steps. This is Calum's home, so I knew where the bedroom was. I went to the knob, only to find out that it's locked.

"God dammit." I muttered again, hoping Luke wouldn't have followed me.

With quick thinking, I went on my tippy toes and touched the top of the door frame. I went across the board when I felt something cold. Ah ha!!

I picked up the key and shoved it into the lock and unlocked he bedroom. Once I got it, I quickly but slyly closed and locked the door again.

I went to Calum's bed and sat criss-crossed in the middle. I didn't turn on the light so no one would suspect I was here. Calum's room was the same as always. The posters on the walls and the CD stacks.

Maybe I can stay here and think more. Maybe my friends would just forget about the whole confession thing.

Well now all we do is wait for everyone to leave.

I am so excited for the next chapter hehehe :} also I hope this chapter didn't suck, somehow I feel like it did :| anyways, I'll update as much as I can for Chapter 15 :D
