A/N this chapter has German in it I will leave a comment of what it means

###
I walked across the fresh ice on my land, Mondlicht, my dog, at my side. I skidded to stop. In front of me was a teenage looking boy, he had ruffled dirty blond hair with blueish highlights. I wondered if those were natural. Yip! I whipped around facing the noise. Mondlicht took off running towards the noise. I touched the ground then took off running after her. As I ran I could hear my tree sprouting up behind me. I hope that the tree will protect him from the wild animals. I closed my eyes and when I opened them I looked back. My tree's branches were growing out and knotting together forming a makeshift hut around the boy.

Five minutes later and I had located Mondlicht near another dog. It let out a horrific yelp and attempted to tug itself out of the thorn bush it was trapped in. I rushed over and tapped the bush. Immediately it retracted its thorns, then branches, and disappeared under the ground. The husky collapsed, blood dying it's gray fur red.

"Gehest du die Medizin!" I commanded to Mondlicht.   She ran off towards our house. I looked at the bloody wounds on the dog. I commanded a river to appear next to me. Once it was there I scooped up water and gently washed out the thorn wounds. Mondlicht came trotting over to me with the medicine bag in her mouth. I pulled out some homemade remedies and dropped it on the dogs wounds.

I looked over at my golden retriever and studied her fur as she pulled the sled carrying the wounded dog. Her dirty blond fur glistened in the sun. Dirty blond. Dirty blond. Dirty blond. I thought to myself. Why is that so familiar... The boy!

"Deisen Weg!" I told Mondlicht, turning left. I came to the tree hut and looked for an opening to slip through. None. I'm to good at keeping out wild animals. I thought. I traced a door on one side. The tree branches shifted themselves to form a door. I pushed it open. The boy was still unconscious.

"Wake up," I whispered gently shaking his shoulders,"Wake up."

The dog behind me began to move attempting to get up. I stood and picked up the dog setting him next to the boy. The husky licked the boys face and the boy slowing began to open his eyes shoving the dogs mussel away.

"Stephen stop. Stephen is this really necessary?" he said his voice hoarse. He pushed up into a sitting position, then noticed me. "Who are you? Why am I in a tree?"
