Chapter 4-pov Pluto

When I woke up a strange girl was looking at me as if I was psycho. But Stephen didn't seem to care so I guess she was safe.

Looking around I noticed I was in a cabin. Wait...no...not a cabin. A tree? Whaaaat?

The girl must have picked up on my confusion because she explained that I was on earth and that her name was, in fact, Earth.

"I'm Pluto," I said, "I'm from Pluto and have no idea how I got here."

"Well this is where I found you," she said.

"Ok. We can figure that out later. Is there anywhere we can find food?"

"Find food? I grow it!" Earth said with a grin on her face; I responded with a confused look on my face. "Just follow me."

I followed her out of the tree and out to a field with tall green grass. We sat cross legged facing each other while Steven and Mondlicht chased one another leaping above the grass. Earth close her eyes and place her hands on the ground behind her. I little sprout peaked up but quickly blossomed and hardened into turned into a sapling which grew into a big beautiful peach tree. Peach blossom began to sprout and bloom, leaving perfect, ripe peaches. Earth opened her eyes and reached up to pluck one;she handed it to me. I bit in cautiously, it seemed normal.

Five minutes later we were both stuffed full of fruit and vegetables. No matter though; I wondered if she was a vegetarian.

"So, now that you are fed, do you any cuts or anything?" Earth asked.

"I don't think so," I said, looking over myself. My hair fell in my eyes and quickly brushed it away annoyed. Suddenly Earth gasped and leaned toward me.

"What?" I asked confused and slightly scared. "Is it my birthmark?"

"No. You need to come with me now," she said sternly, "You have a serious cut on your head." I went to touch my head but Earth stopped my hand. "Don't touch, it'll get infected. Mondlicht!" Her dog came racing over, Stephen following.

We walked swiftly to a huge tree with a ladder going up twenty feet. You could barely tell there was a ladder though; moss cover most of it and the wood was the same color as the tree bark. I soon noticed that there was also a large hill with rock steps next to the tree. Earth stared up at the ladder then glanced at me before going to the steps pulling me with her.

"In your condition you can't take the ladder, luckily I have an alternative way that Mondlicht uses," she explained walking up the stairs that seemed to go on forever.

Soon we reached the top, it was completely covered in trees hiding a bridge, that seemed to float over a cavern,  leading to the tree, which I now realized was a treehouse. A pretty big treehouse if you asked me. Mondlicht and Stephen were already waiting for us at the other end and we soon joined them.

My mouth dropped as I saw the exterior. There was a jumbo sized deck that ran around the house and it had torches every couple feet. Beautiful flowers lay in moss beds on the guard rails. Soon we reached the front door and Earth quickly pulled me in side. She dropped my hand and I looked around where I was standing.

"Sit," Earth demanded coming back into the room with a bowl of water and bandages. I sat down on an odd chair; it was so thin I though it would break. Most of my chairs at home are made purely of ice and look more like thrones. It held and today's savior started cleaning up my forehead. I watched her as she did it; she was so focused on it and had this adorable look of determination on her face.

"Thanks," I said quietly, studying her eyes.

"No problem," she said not looking away from my forehead.

"No really, you didn't have to help a stranger like me, but you did," I said searching her face for a response,"It shows you have character."

She stopped and looked down at me. She studied my eyes smiling. "I believe you have some character to, for trusting me."

      I grinned back at her.

"So," she began,"tell me about yourself."

"Well," I said and told her about how I live on Pluto with my dog and some snow pixies and ice dragons. I told her about my mom and dad and how they used to tell legends about our ancestors meeting with people of other planets... I stopped. "That really happened before didn't it?" I asked. "I mean it's happening now."

"I remember those stories too. My parents would tell me to remember them because one day they could save our planets."

     "Weird."

      "Continue."

"Ok. So..." I continue talking to her about all the interesting magic on Pluto and how cold it is there and how warm it is here.

"Ow!" I exclaimed, "What was that for!"

"Nothing," she said,"I just finished your stitches."

      "I needed stitches!"

"Yeah. I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to freak out and start bleeding, like you are now." I could feel the hot blood start to run down my forehead. "Calm down!" she scolded before starting clean it again. "See not that bad, now I just have to bandage it."

"Eww! What's the sticky stuff for?!"

"It's sap, it keeps the edges of the bandages on so I don't have to wrap it around your whole head."

     "Oh," I said.

"Here follow me you can rest on my bed, you lost a lot of blood." I followed her to another room where her bed sat covered in animal skins.

"Looks comfy," I said plopping down.

"Yeah just don't bleed all over it. I'm going hunting, I'll be back later."

"Ok," I mumbled half asleep already. Soon I was out.
