The starry night air was filled with silence. Aria and I sat on my front lawn in our nightclothes. Suddenly Aria broke the silence,"Amethyst?" She asked me. I smiled sadly, "Yeah?" She drew in a deep breath,"You have to move to New York tomorrow right?" She was right, I did, although I didn't want to be reminded. Last month my mom got a call from a record dealer who had recently seen one of my cover songs online. He wanted me to be his new hit. It was an amazing opportunity, but that would mean I would have to leave my best freind Aria behind. "Yeah, I do Aria." I told her my face getting hot. "We'll still be friends though, even if we're miles away?" She asked me. "Of course..." I told her. She was my best and only friend. I gave her a faint smile, even though I was crying inside. "Tomorrow's far away though. Let's just pretend tonight lasts forever."
She told me. "Forever, I like that..."
Please heavens, I thought to myself. Let us stay together as friends forever.

Even if we are far away....

Just then a shooting star came by. With hope, I believe my wish will come true.
