Chapter 9:

(Read all the way through for a fun fact for the series! No Aria Im not gonna give out anything crazy!)

This place reminds me of any anime I've ever watched... And that's saying something because I watch a lot of anime, and play a lot of RPG. Everyone is so amazing... It's like they're reading off a script... They say everything so perfectly, it's amazing. Except Elias.... There's something about him that just confuses me. One minute he's lecturing the boys and the next he's quite as a mouse. It may just be the different aura he gives off, but something tells me he has a hard time feeling strong emotion. I wonder what his story is....

I snapped out of my thoughts when Aria grabbed my arm and dragged me along, "Where are we going?" I asked trying to pretend I was listening. "Well how about we go introduce you girls to some of the villagers." He said amused. Aria glared at him sternly.  We agreed and kept moving. "Great" He squealed, clapping his hands together. "Why don't we see Sally first, I have to give her something." He told us grimly. "What do you need to give her?" I asked him curious to what he was refering to. "Sorry, but I can't  tell you." He replied. "Why not?" I asked even more curious. He didn't answer.

Clay opened the bakery door. "After you." He said with his signiture smirk. Aria dragged me inside very annoyed. We greeted Sally, "Are you here for some sweets?" She ask smiling. "Uhhhh, we were kinda dragged here by Clay.." I pointed behind us at Clay. She looked confused for a second and then she looked like she understood. "Oh it's today isn't it?" She asked grimly

"Yep" He answered. She glanced at us worried. This was the point I was hoping to get answers. "UUUhhh... Do they know?" She asked Clay. He shook his head no. "So you randomly brought them with you?" She ask very angry. He nodded his head. "You couldn't have waited?!" She asked. Aria and I were in the corner of the shop completely lost. "Look, do you want it or not?"He asked her."What's going on?" I asked Aria, trying to start conversation. "No clue..." She whispered back. Clay handed Sally a brown leather pouch tied with black ribbon. They exchanged it like a drug deal, well maybe that was over exaggerating it. Without thinking I spoke up. "Ok I can't stand it." I said throwing my hands up. What? I tend to make things awkward in tense situations... "What's going on?" They looked at us, just now realizing we were in the room. "This is.... UH...." Sally stuttered. "Um you don't have to tell us if you don't want to." Aria spoke up randomly. "But-" I started. "We'll just get it out of them later" She whispered not aware of them staring at us. I sighed and Sally seemed relaxed. There was a loud coughing upstairs. "Uh, exuse me!" She squealed and ran upstairs. I turned to Clay. "Explain" I demanded. "No.'' He replied calmly. "Why''

"Because I said so."

"Thats a horrible reason!"

"Don't care..."

I growled and looked at Aira. "Make him talk." I told her. "What?" She asked confused. "Make him talk Aria!" I told her getting a bit annoyed. "How am I supposed to do that?" I heaved a sigh. "He likes you! Maybe he'll tell you. Your the one he keeps flirting with. And besides, your really good at making people do what they want." After staring off into space for a bit. "Ok, I'll try.." She said uneasy. "But only because I love ya." She spoke with him for a bit and I watched intensly. After a minute of Clay being creepy, Aria ran back to me crying, "I'm done! I give up!" she sobbed tackling me.  "I'm sorry Amethyst! I tried! But he's too creepy!" She detached her face from my shoulder. "It's ok! It's ok Aria! I'm creeped out by just listening." Clay stepped in. "I don't think that Sally will be back in a while. Shall we go?" He asked. "Yeah lets go" i agreed. I dragged Ari by the arm this time.

"This is Meli." Clay told us as we entered a cute little house. I reconized it as  healing hut from an RPG a recently played. "She's the town healer." Meli was ADORABLE.  I just wanted to sqeaze her to death, and her outfit was just stunning. I don't think even I could pull it off. Aria stayed to the side while I interacted with Meli. "So Meli..." Do you use magic?!" She nodded and smiled at me. "Ya! All sorts of it!" That is so facinating, I thought. "How did you learn it?" I asked her enthusiastically. "Well I was born with healing magic, but you can learn indirect magic as well." She started to explain. "Indirect magic is when someone who was not born with magic can use possessed objects or magic infested objects as weapons, health, or just messing around!" I was shocked. I had always wanted to work with magic keys like my favorite charactor Lucy did from Fairy Tail. I wonder if they have stuff like that. I wonder if magic is what brought us here. I wonder if thats how we're going to go back home...

Do we even want to go back home?.........

(Ok so BHS Aria likes to surprise me with alot of the parts. I still have no idea what Clay gave Sally and what that revolves around)
