After we booked it and we were far enough away, we stopped. Aria bent over and started panting, "I hate running..." She mumbled. "I do too. But,I had to get us out of there and quick."I confess. "Ok but.... I still hate running..." She tells me again. "Aria your a lazy butt..." I laughed. When we both remembered how to breathe again, Aria and I tried to decipher where we were. 

I zoned out a bit staring off at a mountain in the distance. There was smoke arising from it, and it didn't smell like charcoal so it obviously wasn't a BBQ. I wonder what that could be... I thought, peering at the smoke. Suddenly, I felt a tug on my arm, I look at Aria. "Amethyst!" She said loudly. "Candy!" I give her a confused look, "What?" I ask. She tugged my arm again and pointed at a light pink building. "Candy!" She squeals. "What? Aria, we ate an hour ago." I stated. "Candy!" She squeals. "Fine, we'll get your stupid candy." I gave in and started towards the little pink shop.A bell rang in my head. I look at her and smile. "We'll get candy but only if you forgive me." I told her. "Are you blackmailing me for candy?" She asks. "Yes, yes I am." I tell her suficently. "Fine..." She says crossing her arms. "I forgive you"

We walk in the little shop and looked around. My eyes trailed to the desk, low and behold there was a man... But not just any man, a Mief'wa... Ever since I had seen Meif'wa's I had become so obbsesion with them. They were so fastinating to me. Aria and I first found them in the YouTuber Aphmau's Minecraft roleplay seires, Minecraft diaries. Every since then i had wanted to touch one of their eas... Now was my chance. I gave the man a friendly smile and before I could say anything he cut me off. "You the girls that came  from the forest?" He asked, I nodded. "You wanna touch my ears don't you..?" He stared at me, i nodded again, but this time eagerly.  "Yes.. very much so..." He walks in front of the counter and bends to my height. He looks at me dead in the eye, his face straighter than Elias'. I stroke his soft ears in awe. "Alright that's enough" he said after a few seconds. I pull away, still staring at him like he was a ghost. When I finally snapped out of it, I looked over a Aria. She was in a corner looking like she just saw her dog die.

"Aira? You ok? Your kind of... In a corner." I ask. "Eh?" She turns around and stares down the cat guy, he stared back. "Do you want candy?" He drawled. Oh uh yeah..." Aria spaced out again. "Do you want to touch my ears?" He sighed. "Yeah." Aria confessed. She pet his ears and we got our candy. The cat's name turned out to be Kip. As we turned from the counter, Liam walked in. "Oh, girls" He said surprised. "I didn't expect to see you here." He looked around the shop. "Is Clay with you?" We explained him the situation. "Ah. I see. That does tend to happen alot. Sorry you had to see that..." He told us. "Hey don't forget Elias!" Aria adds. "Elias showed up, declaring how I'm not pretty or something." Liam gave a nervous laugh. "That's Elias for you. He's always brutally honest." Uh oh,I thik. Aria puts her hands on her hips. "Excuse me? Are you telling me I'm not pretty?" 

"N-No! That's not- I don't- I didn't mean it like that!" He stuttered. "Aria your so mean..." I tell her. Liam looked like he was having a heart attack. "No! I didn't mean it like that I swear! Your pretty! I mean, Lady Amethyst is pretty as well! Your both pretty! N-Not that I stare or anything!" He stuttered again. Honsestly, he looked kinda cute flustered... No don't think like that... He probably isn't real! I think breaking my daydream.

"Woah ok! Breathe! Its fine I was just messing with yo dude." She said holding up her hands in surrender. Aria kinda dazed off and I hustled to Liam to help him breathe again. I rubbed his back trying to soothe him, but he was still in shock. "Hey, hey.. It was just a joke... Aria does that sometimes" I told him. He took my forearm in his hand, "Are you sure she wasn't serious?!" He panicked. "Positive." I told him touching his hand still residing on my arm. I felt my face grow hot and his go red as well. At the same time we pulled away. Welp... That was awkward... I thought to myself.

After Liam calmed down he left and we went outside to find a place to sit. We found a little log bench and we sat there in pure silence for about 5 peaceful minutes. Both me and Aria were teenagers but I swear, she was like a friend, a sister, and a mother to me at times. "You gonna tell me what happened?" I swallowed my chocolate and looked down. You know I'm not going to stop until you tell me." She presses.

"He just wanted to talk..." I said softly. "He wanted to say that he liked my singing. Apparently, there isn't a lot of music in this world. His mother sang to him when he was little, but when she died, well... He lost his love for music. My singing reminded him of it. He wanted to thank me."

She crosses her arms in protested, but inside I knew she felt bad for him. "Look Amethyst. I can understand what he said, and I understand why your attracted to him." I opened my mouth in protest, but she shushed me with her hand. "But you can't keep falling for guys! Especially weird non-realistic dream guys. And guys you've only known for a day! Please Amethyst?" She clasps my hands and looks me dead in the face. "Don't fall for any of the guys here ok? Don't think about dating them, or going off alone with them at night. Don't think about that stuff right now. Not when we're here. Not when we don't even know where here is. These guys- these people- they might not even exist! And we need to find out how to get home. So please Amethyst..." I hesitates and she squeezes my hands softly. Please... For me?" She pleads.

I look at her conflicted. I sighed and put my head on her shoulder. "You know I can't say no to you when you do that." I tell her. She gives a smile, "I know..." I didn't speak for a while but finally said, "Fine I promise not to think about that stuff right now..." She let out a breath of relief. Then something hit me.. 

  I'm almost sure this place is real... If it wasn't it wouldn't be so lucid. I think this place means something, and why we're here means something... But for now I have to keep my promise... I can't use my charm on anyone here.

"Aria?"

"Hm?"

"Would you sing for me?" 

"Ugh Amethyst"

"Oh come on please? I haven't heard you sing in so long!" I whine

She groans. Back at home she would always sing to me when I was upset. She had a beautiful voice and I wished she would share it with the world just like I did. That's why I made her sing.... I saw Chase and Clay coming down the path. "Ok ok Fine!" She stands up and clears her throat. "That they confuse you... That I might loose you..." Here comes a thought... A fitting song for the situation at hand. Chase and Clay wee right behind her and I had a huge smile plastered on my face. Suddenly she whipped around and looked the boys dead in the face. They started yelling, but I really didn't pay attention to them. That was her chance to let the world hear her voice... I've tried again and again to let it happen... But she would never allow it... I thought maybe in this alternate universe she would... But no, she brushed them off like dust- or more like attacked the dust with a chainsaw... From what I was seeing Aria was not having it. "I'm out come on Amethyst!" She grabbed my hand and we started to go, but to no ones surprise, Chase wasn't gonna have it.  He grabbed her hand, I'm assuming my expression was priceless. I had never been so shocked in my life. Not that he grabbed her hand, but he hand the nerve to after he had seen what Aria is capable of doing. Once he realized he was being insane he let go and coughed into his fist. "Um... Your singing... Its very good." Score!!!!!!!!!!!!! One point for Amethyst! She's sure to realize that she needs to sing more now!  "Uhh thanks?" I mentally facepalmed. Typical Aria I thought sadly. She shoved the boys off, grabbed my hand, and she ran faster than she had ever run before back to Dixie's. 

The second we got to our room she flopped on her bed and shoved her face into the pillow. Dixie walked into the room with a confused look on her face. "What happened Amethyst?" She asked. "Oh, a male creature noticed Aria and now she's mortified...." I giggled a bit. "Oh was it Clay? I've heard around the village that Clay had a huge thing for Aria... And I think he's serious..." I gasped. My ship is coming true! I cleared my throat trying to stare. "No, it was both Chase and Clay." i tell her, and explain the whole story. She giggled a bit. "That's kinda funny. Say Amethyst?" She asks. "Do you have a thing for Chase?" She asks. I look at her dumbstruck. "N-No! I mean he's attractive and all but I literally just met him!" She hesitates, "Hm.. Well I heard what happened at Meli's and I was just wondering. He never talks to woman like that. But then after the stunt he pulled I'm not so sure. He has been a little strange lately. Though I don't blame him, his sister died a couple months- Dawn and Dusk- I wasn't supposed to say that!" She sighed. "He jsu hasn't been very happy lately, but when you girls came along, his spirit lifted." She smiled a bit. "SoI guess i'm saying thank you for the whole village." I smiled back at her. "Also what's with the guy at the sweet shop?" She giggled. "Oh Kip? You guys don't have Meif'wa's back where you live?" I sake my head. "Ok well... Their a lively bunch. Well I'm going to make dinner. It should be ready in a bit." She tells me. "Ok! I'm gonna go try to calm Aria's nerves.." I glance over at the mortified Aria. She laughs and laves the room..

well that was a eventful day....
