"Amethyst?" 

"yes?"

"Can I kill Clay?"

"You probably shouldn't..." I confessed to her.

"Is that a no?" She asked hopefully. I didn't want to get involved with her and Clay's little 'romantic' rivalry. "I don't know ask Meli." I told her. "Ok.." She turned to Meli, smiling hysterically. "Can I kill him?" She had no answer. After a very awkward few minutes of silence Clay walked up to Meli and straight up kissed her. I stopped breathing for a bit in shocked. When they seperated, he looked at Aria and winked. I will admit I almost lost my cool, but I held it in. Meli almost looked as shocked as I did. "It's been a while since you did something like that. What'd you do, have a bad day or something?" To which he stupidly replied with: "What? I can't kiss an ex-girlfriends?" In my head I answered the question. No, no you can't! That's one of  the biggest rules of break ups!!  She shrugged it off and turned back to us. "You probably shouldn't kill him.." She told Aria."If you did then every girl he's ever dated is going to go after you. And trust me, he's dated multipled girls" 

"Like you?" I said unknowingly. She looked embarassed and I felt bad. Clay leaned against the wall once again and continued to stare at us. As her best friend, I knew when seh was going to blow her top off. Can you guess when a moment like that was gonna happen? Yup! In like 10 seconds! I readied my muscles for a sudden Aria outburst to hold down. 3.... 2.... 1.... ANNNNND

"Do you have anything better to do than to stand there like a creeper and stare at us?!" Right on cue. He looked taken back. This is usually the point in time when I butt in. In a swift motion, I jumped to her side and dragged her from Clay. "Ok, Aria! Calm down!" I told her. "Aria what did we say about people looking at you?" I asked. "But he's-" "Aria, you had this conversation with 5 different school phychiatrists. What did they all say? Come on Aria. You know it. Its...?" She took a deep breath. "If their just looking, leave them alone." She mumbled crossing her arms. The other one was disscussed between the phychiatrist and I privatly. If their doing anything more that looking, Angry Amethyst takes control. "Exactly. Look, I know he's annoying. But-" Clay interuppted me "You ladies are aware that I can hear you?" I raised my eyebrows. "Yes" Ari and I said at the same time. Aria shoots him a glare and I stuck my tongue out at him. Clay raised his hands in surrender and turned to the window.

"Does he do that a lot? The, uh, kissing thing?" I asked sheepishly. Meli blushed. "Well um, I guess." She stammered."I mean he's pretty much dated every girl in the village, and even if he's broken up with a girl he'll still, umm, show her a good time if he feels like it." I was dumbstruck, "And their OK with this?!?!" I exclaimed, shocked. "That's it, I'm killing him!!" Aria yells, grabbing a book that was chilling on the table peacefully, and threw it at him. He moved his head calmly and the book hit the wall and dropped to the floor. It took both me and Meli to help hold her back. "Aria calm down!" She said, her voice  strained. "That's not what I meant. I mean he only does it when he has their permission! When we broke up, I told him that if he ever had a bad day he could talk to me. I didn't know he would suddenly kiss me! I swear if he had told me what he was going to do i wouldn't have let him! Now I'm begging you, calm down!" She dove for air. "Aria don't make me and Meli sedate you!" I warned her. She stopped struggling and glared daggers at Clay. "Fine i won't kill him." She said. Meli and I looked at her skeptically. "I promise I won't...." She said. I let go, finally satisfied. I didn't let my guard down though, Aria has always been a tricky one. We all went inside one of the suits and pretty soon, Aria was sitting on the bed rubbing her arms and still glaring at Clay.

Meli sighed. "Now that that's settled" She picked up the thrown book and hit Clay with it. "Ow" He protested, rubbing his head. "Don't EVER kiss me again!" She warned him. "Yes, yes." He smiled, not looking guilty at all. "We should get going now..." Clay yawned. "Lot's to see, and so little time. Coming?" he added, turning to us. Aria growled and got up, I grabbed her hand, "It'll be ok." I told her. "Don't worry, Aria." She smiled. I gave a a thin smile. We said goodbye to Meli and left. It was a very peaceful walk up until another Aria outburst. "What is wrong with you?!" She yelled. "Aria" I said warningly. "I'm just asking!" She insists. Clay stopped walking and looked at her. "What gives you the right to play with girls feelings? Well?!?! I'm waiting!!!" She sassed. I face palmed, "Aria come on!" She ignored me. "Clay opened his mouth to say something, but was interuppted by a shout: "LOOK OUT" Aria pushed me out of the way, getting directly in the flying objects path. I closed my eyes, and heard it crash. I open my eyes to see Clay on top of Aria. They both looked like walking strawberries. Without thinking I shreiked, "Get off her!" I literally found the strength to throw Clay off her and pull her up. "What just happened?" She ask redder than she was before, if that's even possible. "I'm not sure," I told her. "Actually what the heck almost hit us?" turned to the lump lying awkwardly at the base of the tree. "Is it ok?" I asked. "Not an it..." Clay told us. "Who, and more specifically, she. Hello Kate." 

The girl jumped up. She was younger than us, maybe 11 or 10. She was adorable blonde girl, with a quirky smile. "Hi Clay!" she said cheerily, thought she had just crashed into tree. "Are you ok?" Clay asked her.  "ya I'm ok!" She looked at us. "Oh, who are the new girls? I haven't seen them around before!" She asked. "That's kinda what new means, Kate" He confessed. "Oh, well HI i'm Kate! I'm 10 years old and I'm a witch! Er, A witch in training.... But still a witch" She explained. We introduced ourselves, "Nice to meet you Amethyst and Aria!" "Kate..' Clay cut in. "Why were you running?" He asked.

"Well I might have set Lobelia's skirt on fire..." She confessed.

"Really? Lobelia's?" She nodded very slowly. "wait," I asked "Who's Lobelia?" Just then we heard a voice behind us, "Kate!" Clay turned around slowly, "That's Lobelia" he mused. The rest of us turned around to see two girls walk toward us.

The one leading the other had icy hair and was very pale. Her outfit showed off her figure well, and the bottom of her skirt was burned a bit. The second girl had purple hair like mine but shorter. I touched my hair when I saw it and smiled. She looked a bit worried, and tried to keep up with Lobelia. "Lobelia, calm down!" She told her. "It was an accident, you know that!" Lobelia did not look happy, "Lobelia. Mira." Clay gretted them. "Clay." Lobelia growled. "Where is she?" She asked him. "Where is who?" He asked innocently. "Kate! Where is Kate?" 

"Calm down, Lobelia!" Mira told her. Kate yelped at her name. "YOU" The woman growled "Save me!" Kate squeaked. "You burned my skrit for the fifth time this week!" She yelled. "I'm sorry!" She squeaked again, trying not to cry. After a bit of the girls arguing, I felt the need to butt in. "Uh, what's going on?" I asked. They all looked at us. "Who are you?" Lobelia asked. " I haven't seen you guys before." She looked at us weirdly. "We're new." I told her. "hi my name is Mira, that's Lobelia, and well you've met Kate."  We shook hands and Mira's expression changed from friendly to shock. "Your arua..." She said. "My whata?" Aria asked. "Ypur arua. It's something invisible that covers all living creature. Certain people can see other people's auras and are able to read them." she explained.

"Okayyyy" She looked over to me and I shrugged. "Is my aura..... Bad?" She asked. "What? Oh no, no! it's not bad, just firmilar. You know it sort of reminds me of Cya-" She was cut off by Clay "DONT YOU DARE SAY HER NAME" When his breathing slowed, he put his arms on the wall of a house and took a shaky breath. We all looked at eachother shocked. "Clay?" She asked slowly. We all stepped back, and I shooed her over to him. She stepped to him hesitantly. She placed a hand on his shoulder. I smirked, do i ship it? I asked myself, nahhh I tell myself. "Clay are you ok?" She asked. His face bore no expression. Then he snapped back, "Are you ok? Your the one touching me, Have you finally realized your feelings for me?"  She look horrified again. "I'd rather gore my eyes out with burning sticks then even consider having feeliings for you." she said staoping back to me. Yup......................
