Steven's POV

We defeated them. Well, more like they defeated them. It just took them about thirty minutes or so. I looked at my surroundings and asked, "So what happened to this place?".

Pearl looked uncertain, and I could'nt blame her. Something horrible had happened here, based on the monsters' looks. They looked like animal hybrids with human parts, kinda like the forced fusions in the current Kindergarten but much more monstrous."Well, it all started with the gem shard experiments. They melt the shards, and... kind of plant them in the ground. But the Home World gems created so many, that when the melted shards sprouted on their holes, well... they destroyed everything", Pearl explained slowly. "Why were the Home World gems creating gems anyway?", I asked. "Steven, I don't think-" "They create them for war", Amethyst admitted. "War?", I asked. "Er... don't worry about that Steven. At least we defeated them", Amethyst said.

"This place endlessly produces gem monsters. Don't you think we should destroy it?", Pearl asked. "We can't just destroy this place", Garnet replied. "Yeah, right. We can't just blow anything up", Amethyst agreed. "But we can't fight them forever. They'll just keep coming and... and... destroy everything!", Pearl exclaimed. "Pearl, stop being so paranoid. They just look bad, they're not actually that harmful", Amethyst said. "Not that harmful, are you even listening to yourself? They nearly poofed you!", Pearl shouted. "Oh, so now you care about me?", Amethyst asked. "Okay, you two, stop it", Garnet said, getting in the middle of the two. "Can we just go home?", I asked. "Er.. yes. Of course, Steven", Pearl said and walked towards the warp. I and the others followed after her, when something from the sky hit one of the mountains near us. "C'mon, guys! Let's check it out!", Amethyst said, going to the mountain. "Well, Steven said he's kind of tired so-" "I'm good", I interrupted Pearl. Pearl looked at Garnet. Garnet shrugged and followed Amethyst. Pearl looked at me. I smiled and held her hand and followed the others. Amethyst and Garnet were behind the rock, watching whatever that thing from the sky is. "What is it?", I asked. "Gems", Garnet replied. "I wanna see!", I said as I went by Amethyst's side.

"Who are they?", I asked, gesturing the two gems fighting each other. "Blue Diamond. And, someone else", Pearl replied. "You don't know?", I asked. Amethyst shook her head.

Blue Diamond's POV

"Kyanite, look. There is clearly no sense trying to defend those useless people", I said to my daughter, Kyanite, and stopped fighting. She stopped fighting me. "But don't you even care? These so-called useless people have lives. And if you destroy this planet, I swear, I swear I'd actually have your gem crushed", she said, raising her voice. "That is no way to talk to your own mother!", I said. She rolled her eyes. "My mother? Since when have you been my mother? Oh, right. Never", she said. I did'nt do anything. "If you want to destroy those Crystal Gems why destroy the whole planet?", she said. There was complete silence after that. "Kyanite, please understand. We're doing this so the gems won't be hurt. We need to destroy the Cluster", I said.

Kyanite's POV

I felt anger pulse through my veins. "You actually care more about the gems, not the humans. Oh, why am I surprised? You only care about those precious gems of yours. But what about the others? The humans are delicate, they need protection. You can't just leave them to die. You can't destroy someplace just like that, especially if it isn't yours", I said as calm as I can. "Will you please stop defending those stupid humans?!", she shouted at my face. That's it. I quickly grabbed the Gem Destabilizer she always have and used it on her. She quickly retreated to her gem after that.

I bubbled the gem, and nearly popped it when a kid appeared infront of me. "Hi! I'm Steven!", he greeted and held out his hand. "Yes... er... hello", I said and shook it. How can a human possibly get here? I opened my mouth to say something, but merely stood when three gems came in between me and Steven- a pale one, a purple one, and a tall one- with their own weapons. "Why did you come here?", the pale one asked, pointing her spear at me. "This was'nt actually supposed to happen... er... it was an accident. And I probably need to go", I said and looked around. "How can I get back to Home World?", I asked them. I just need a little talk from Yellow Diamond. She's much nicer than my m- I mean, Blue Diamond. The purple one sighed. "You can't", she said. "Excuse me?", I asked. "The Home World warp is broken. You're stuck in here", the purple one said. The tall one said nothing, which made me a little curious about her. "Guys, can we keep her? She seems nice", Steven said from behind the gems. "Steven, we can't keep anyone we barely know!", the pale one replied, turning to Steven. "But Pearl, we kept Lion!", he said. "I think we can keep her", the tall one said. "Really?", Steven asked. The tall one nodded, and Steven took my hand. "Come! We'll show you where you live from now on!", he said cheerfully. I smiled in reply. Maybe this day was'nt so bad after all.

Steven's POV

"Oh! You did'nt tell me your name. From what I heard earlier, your name is Kyanite. Right?", I said to the blue gem once we came back. She smiled and nodded. Kyanite has medium lenght deep blue hair, fair skin, dark blue eyes, and wears a blue tank top, black skinnies, black boots and a white coat. She looks more like a human to me, and her deep blue gem is located at the back of her neck, which is visible since her hair is on a ponytail. "So, what's your weapon?", I asked. "I... don't know how to... summon it. Yet", she said.
