Lucky's POV

Hmm. I hum as I walk down an unfamiliar pathway down the backstreets of the marketplace heading home,so I thought. Nani?Where am I? I look around with my arms behind my back, wondering where I am. "Stay alert,Lucky." N's voice echos in my head from when I left home. "I know." I smile walking deeper into the light of the scarce streetlight. In an alleyway, I spot a group of people mugging a guy. Tch rude. So I walked over to them."Why are you ganging up on one guy?That's not fair, you know." A boy with red spiky hair comes up, punching his fist into the alley wall next to the victim. "Because he has something we want. "He replied grinning with an hand on his mask before looking my way. I could feel his eye staring at my scarf through his wolf mask as the victim runs away. "At least make it fair.Its not right to take from others you know. "I mutter, preparing myself . Then I look around and notice that I really don't where I am right now."Uh?Do you know the way to the marketplace?It sometimes get confusing to navigate to the school, you know." I asked what looks like the leader scratching my head with a goofy smile. "What? How do you not know where you're going? Are you new in town or something?"the boy asked with annoyance rolling his eyes, his gang readying their weapons. "Well yes and no."I laughs. "That's a nice scarf you got on.I feel like I've seen it before?" He takes the end of my scarf slightly moving the mask to reveal his grin; his raccoon dog tail swaying with mischief. "Yea. It's my lucky scarf.Gotta have luck, you know." I reply taking the part out of his hands.

"Hmm. It's a pretty rare scarf. I remember seeing one just like this while on guard. Where did you get it from?" he asked placing his hand on his chin. I step back. "It's special to me and I didn't steal it if that's what you're saying," I mutter grabbing my scarf and holding it close to me. Soon enough the gang of people crowds around me and I start to go on the defensive. "No can do. I want your scarf.And I will get it, one way or another. The power it holds." he grins. He snaps his fingers and the crowd charges towards me with weapons in hand. Alright,if it's a fight you want, then let's go.I started punching some guys as the people behind me managed to attack; hitting my side. One of the guys swings a crowbar at me. I quickly grab the handle and burst my fist into flames; flipping my goggles down."Let's play then!" I smile,melting the metal. "What! A mage?!" some of the guys gasp backing away.I see the leader pull out a dagger in the corner of my eye. I punched two of the guys closed to me with my fire punch. I watched the rest of them run away, not wanting to get hit by flaming fist. "Come back here, coward!" their leader shouts. "Hehe. This is actually fun,you know" I smile waving as the rest of the guys leave their red hair leader alone. "Tch, So we meet again. Long time no see.This time I won't lose. That scarf is mines." the leader throws a row of daggers towards my way. I flip up over them, but he quickly pull something, I guess a wire, and the daggers circle back. The wire wraps around my leg, pulling me from mid-air and into the ground. "Ouch, That hurts," I grumble getting up. Looking back up at the leader , he grins with the end of the wire wrapped around his fingers before sliping the dagger part of his weapon in his hand. "Just hand over the scarf and you won't get hurt." he laughs. "Tch, Not a chance," I reply getting back up, bursting my foot on fire. "Sorry, sweetie, can't burn through that type of metal,I learn my lesson, "he explains. Well if I can't burn it, then maybe I can get my foot loose.I leap up and land on the wall for a moment. The wire tightens around my leg and the force pulls me back down; slamming into the ground. "What was that for? Trying to climb on the walls?!" he laughs throwing another dagger at me as I get back up. This time I was able to grab the handle but the moment I looked back up, he was gone. Huh? "Looking for me?" a voice behind me breaths down my back. On instinct,I swing a flaming kick behind me, but no one was there. "Heheh. Too slow." the voice calls out from another direction. I quickly picked up the scent to the far left of me. It seem like time was slowed as I turned my head to see the leader holding something...familiar. I'm too late to react, finally noticing that the boy was holding my scarf in his hand. "Sorry to leave but I gotta go. Ciao." With that he disappeared into the shadow with my scarf. MAN! My insides started to heat up with anger. To the point where I couldn't keep it in and my body burst into flames. Hope he doesn't brush it  and mess it up in the very least.  I shiver at the thought.

Leon's POV

I yawn walking into class. "HEY LEON! " a  voice greets me the moment I walk into the classroom. I rub my eyes to see Aimii, staring at me with a seat open next to her.Its been two days since the fight with her and Lucky claims this N person fixed her up.I don't trust it though.She motions to it. "This is your seat, right?" she asked. I shrug and sit right down next to her and she continues to glares at my face; examining it. "What?" I yawn scratching my head. "Uh?...where's your tail?" Serenity jumps in and ask, pointing at the spot where it usual is. "Oh, right you guys don't know." I stretch my arms. "Know what?Spill it cat." Scarlet demands with her hand on the table. Right as I was about to explain, "Ahh, I'll get you back!" shouts someone from down the hall. Lucky stomps in with her arm's crossed and no scarf. I can only guess what happened.It was only a matter of time, she really shouldn't be walking around with material that valuable. "Oh gosh, what happened to you?" Scarlet proceed to ask her. "Heh, i'm gonna get my scarf back from that guy." Lucky continues talking to herself, this time with a fist held high in front of her. Her comment causes everyone in the room to be confused, even Ms.Z looks up from her magazine to the commotion. "Oh yea I must be confusing you guys. Well earlier some guy and his gang took my scarf." she then grins hold up a strangely shaped dagger with a paw print as the end of the handle. "I'm gonna go find them and get it back. Hehe!" she cheers holding it out for everyone to see. "Oh I see. That's been happening a lot as of late. " Aimii ponders aloud. "It must be a gang that's part of the Mafia. " I explain ."Huh!Mafia!?" Serenity blinks staring at me. "Well Leon does have a point. Besides if it was just any street gang, they wouldn't have stolen your scarf."Ms. Z further explains. "Tch well whoever they are,I'm getting my scarf back from them.No matter what." Lucky exclaims proudly."Yea but how would you know where to look and which gang took it?" I asked, sitting up. Lucky just simply points to her nose. "With this." she grins. Everyone laughs. "If you're that confident then you guys will be able to complete this mission. Since the last one didn't go so well." Ms Z crossed her arms, tapping her foot in disappointment. "Hey that wasn't our fault." Scarlet argues. "Sorry, my bad." Aimii mumbles toying with her fingers, looking down at the table. Ms. Z sit on the table and pulls out a sheet of paper.

"Well your mission this time is to dig up some info on a missing person. His name is Kyo Yadama. He's a 3rd year in high school and has been missing for a week and 2 days." she starts and toss me a file with the boy's picture on it. "Ah so we're still doing the police's work that they don't wanna do." Scarlet groans. "Hey you gotta pay for the damage somehow." the teacher smirks with a shrug. I sigh looking through it. "So what's first oh fearless leader," Scarlet says with sarcastic charm in her tone. "Well we can start with the last place he was at and have an interview with his family and friends." I start, ignoring Scarlet. I point to Serenity and Hoshi. "You two can go talk to Yadama's friends. Scar- -" before I could finish, Aimii tucks my shirt. "And we can team up together to interview the family. It would be better if Scarlet teams up with Lucky seeing how they get stuff done faster as seen from the battle with me." she smiles. "Alright.Lucky and I can investigate the last place Kyo was seen.Great.We'll get right on it." Scarlet smirks as she grabs Lucky's hand and everyone started breaking into their groups. "What!That not what...ahh Ok fine.As long as we get the job done." I mumble giving up. "Let's get going, Leon-kun."Aimii says taking my hand.

Scarlet's Pov

I quickly grab Lucky's hand raced out the classroom before Leon paired me up with Aimii. "Wow, Scarlet.You were in a hurry."Lucky smiles running beside me. "Based on this info. The guy disappeared somewhere near the Shiho district"I explain while stopping to read. " Ok. Now where's that at?"Lucky ask with a lost expression and looking around. I sigh at her stupidity because the Shiho district is near the back of the academy. "Come on, just follow me." I motion her to come along. After walking there, we spot police tape and two cops looking around the scene. The head investigator walks over to us."So I take it you're the Majutsu students?" he asked. I nod in response having him take us to the crime scene. " Hmm. " Lucky hums with her arms behind her back as she walks. "So how did you guys find out that this was the last place Yadama was around?" I asked. "Well we had a call from his parents and eye witnesses have identified him being here." the cop explains as we continue in the scene. I nod setting the info into my head and look back at Lucky who was in her own little world. "Do you have any thought to what happen?" I asked. The cop sighs and shakes his head "no" as he scratches his head. "We have too many cases on our hands to properly investigate this case," he says as an excuse. I roll my eyes making my way to look at the clues left behind. All was left was the guy's school bag; a brown shoulder duffle bag. Inside contain two notebooks, a textbook, pencil case, and an open pack of gum.4 pieces of gum were missing and one notebook only had random words and a torn page. Hmm. I look back at Lucky once more. "Got anything? " I asked her. "Eh well no.I don't know what to do." she shrugs with a smile. I sigh. She's no help. Suddenly someone walks pass me. I look to see it was Lucky wearing glasses like the night before giving off a new air about her. She picks up the notebook and reads through them and stops on a page with a bunch of random words and placed her hand on her chin. "Hmm, interesting. Heh." she laughs mysteriously with the glint of her glasses making her look creepy. "Lucky? What are you doing?" I snatch the notebook from her. "Tch, how rude of you. And I'm not Lucky. Haven't I told you this before."She pushes up her glasses as I roll my eyes. "Just because you put on glasses doesn't mean you just become smart, Lucky," I mutter looking through the notebook. She crossed her arms as she walks away to look around the scene. Lucky started picking up samples such as a leaf, piece of gum from the bag and even took a pic of the notebook from behind me.Weirdo.

Looking up I noticed one guy that keeps walking by. I've seen him about 3 times walking around with his hands in his pocket wearing our school's uniform. I think he noticed me because he started walking towards us. "Are you guys from Majustu Academy?" he asked with his shoulder duffle bag behind him. I nod. "Yeah. Wouldn't be wearing this if I wasn't going to that school." I rolled my eyes. "Great.I was wondering if you could tell me where the school is? I just transferred there recently and have no idea how to get there." he asked with a smile. I gave him directions. "Thanks. My name is Akira. " He greets. "The name's Scarlet and that's Lucky over there." As soon as I said that she shoots me a glare. "My name is N. " she objects walking over to us. Akira looks at her for a second. "Have I seen you before...nah. Anyways it's nice meeting you." he waves heading on his way. I turn back to see Lucky investigating the notebook once more and then the rest of the scene. "Ah this is all I can gather. He was kidnapped by some pretty scary people, " she concluded holding up a small gun while wearing gloves. Where the gloves come from? The police investigator walks over confused as he takes the weapon. "Wait I must analyze that in my lab." She protested trying to take it back. "OI!Lucky. Quit it." I grab her shoulder pulling her back in the attempt to stop her. She sighs and gives up. "Let's head back." she walks back toward the school with a grin. Out of nowhere she stop and starts gripping her shoulder. "Oh no. That jerk." she shivers as the glasses fell to the ground. "ARE YOU OK?" I asked actually being concern for once placing my hand on her. Looking at her face,she was blushing and looks away the moment she noticed me looking. "Y-yea I'm f-fine, Scarlet-chan. Let's hurry back." she shiver, forcing a smile at me as she picks up the glasses.

Serenity's POV

Hoshi and I made our way to Yadama's school. From the info we got from the cops, Kyo and his friends usually hang out near the vending machines. Guess we'll start there. Hoshi and I traversed through the unfamiliar high school til we reached a group of kids. They stared at us with confusion; probably because of our uniforms. "Hi there.I'm Serenity and this is my friend, Hoshi." I greet. "OK, so what are students from Majustu Academy doing here?" the oldest boy in the group asked. I smile. "Well we're investigating the disappearance-" before I could finish, Hoshi jumps in. "Tell us about Kyo Yadama. Any pieces of information are fine with us," she says with a serious expression. Nervous expressions appear on all the students' faces. "Sorry, We just want to know more about him so we could find him," I explain calmly. One kid sighs and nods. "Well, he did say he was going around, asking for money," he says. "Yea he got a new job. Where we don't know." another adds. I nod and bow. "Thank you for the information. We will find your friend." I say with encouragement tone. With that Hoshi and I made our way out as all the students look at us. "We should meet everyone in the classroom," I suggest heading back to our classroom. Once there, a new face appears sitting in the near back; a book in hand. The red hair boy avoids looking at us as we walk in. "Oh, I see you two were the first to come back. Found any information?" Ms.Z greets us while reading a magazine. "Uh we did get some new info," I explain with a smile. Hoshi points to the kid. "Who's he?" she asked bluntly. The teacher looks at the boy. "Oh that's Akira Okumura. He's your new classmate, a transfer student" she explains sitting up.

Aimii's POV

I walk next to Leon, getting closer to him as we move along towards Yamada's house so I won't get lost.His aura is so sweet compared to how he acts. Trying to be the adult of the group must be tough, huh Leon. As I mutter to myself, Leon kept looking at me with concern. "Are you ok?" he asked as he stops. "Oh...Yea. No need to worry about me. All my systems are in top performance and working order." I smile with a salute making my face normal. Now that I have all these human emotions its kinda hard to keep them in check. How does everyone do it? "Ok. if you say so. Now take it easy. I still don't trust this N person Lucky took you to. Later I'll have my sister check your systems. Is that alright with you?" he asked. "S-Sister? Leon-Kun has a sister? What is a sister?" I asked with my head cocked. He nods, rubbing his head. "Yeah, 6 of them. There like a girl that's related to you. " he admits. My eyes grow wide, knowing more about this world. "Cool. I'll update my profiles " I nod. "Anyways, let's head to Yamada's house and interview his family." he turns to keep walking up the hill like street the house was on. I nod and follow after him to the small gate with the name "Yamada" on the mailbox nameplate. I watch as he rings the doorbell and a woman answers the door. "Hello Ms. My name is Leon Ly and this is Aimii." He introduces. She looks at us strangely and confused. "We're here for the detective. We work on the case of your missing son, Kyo." Leon clears up the confusion and she lets us in; sitting us on the couch. "You guys must be here to ask me some question. " she starts as she pours us some tea. I sit close to Leon, looking around the house. "That's right. It won't take long." he smiles picking up the cup of tea. She nods and sighs. "Of course. Ask away." she sits back in her armchair with worry in her eyes. "How was Kyo's behavior for the past couple of days?" he starts off about to take a sip of the tea. "Well for starters, he was coming home late and sneaking bags into his room," she answers. "Leon-Kun!Its still -" I try to quickly grab the cup from Leon's hands but I end up spilling the hot liquid on his legs. "NYAOW!" he hissed loudly getting up in pain. "Sorry!" I shout looking around for something to wipe the liquid. The mother hands Leon a towel.

After he cleans up, we sat back down but Leon put some distance in between him and I. Sigh as they begin to talk once more. I take this chance to look around the house in detail and in the hallway; hiding from everyone. There was a girl hiding behind her door, peeking through the creak of her door. I smiled walking over to her in a friendly manner. "Hey there." I greet as I crouched down to her level using my 'friendly' emotion. The girl flinched as I greeted her. "Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. My name is Aimii. What's yours?" I greeted once again holding my hand out to her. She slowly handed me her hand and opened her mouth to say, "My name is Ann." "Nice to meet you. Don't worry Ann, we'll find your brother." I give her thumbs up. Ann hugs me in fear. " Nii-san got into it with some bad people that mother doesn't know about, " she admits to me, going into tears. ah! I look at her face,"Do you mind telling me more about these bad people." I grab her hand and we walked into her room. I wipe her tears as we sit on the bed. "Well, I don't know them but they had my brother bring them these cases," she explains. That was when I turn serious. " Do you know what those people were wearing or what they looked like?" I asked her while trying to keep the same air about me. If I can get the answers we need then we can get this case over with. Maybe I can ask  Serenity or Lucky to take me somewhere 'fun'. I thought in my head, looking dazed. "Uh, Miss. " Ann waves her hand in front of me. "Sorry, my mind tends to wander a bit. Please continue. " I chuckled patting her head. She nods and continues with her description. What she explained to me were people in gray suits; ready for business. I relay the information to Leon. "Ok. let's regroup with everyone and see what information they got." Leon explains to me.

Akira's POV

School, Seems like no matter where I go, I always get kicked out for fighting. Ms. Z class was the only class that had spots open  for first-year students that I could transfer to. But of course, I get lost on my first day. Sigh. After wondering around for some hours I stubble upon two girls wearing the girl uniform for the school Thank goodness, my luck really is changing. As soon as I got closer, I realized that one of the girls look familiar...from earlier today. I walked up to them and asked for directions, hoping that one girl doesn't recognize me. But as she spoke, she had a different aura or air about her. After they told me where to do, I made my way there. "Sigh well, that's what I get for signing up so late. Oh well." I mutter walking into an empty class. So I guess I'm the only student here. I spot the teacher filling out paperwork that she didn't notice that I walked in. "Um, Are you Ms. Z?" I asked with my hand on her desk. She looks up from the paperwork and nods. "Who's asking?" she replies rudely. "Uh well, I'm Akira Okumura. Your new student." I explained showing my student ID. It must have dawned on her of who I was as she has a moment. "Oh yea. I forgot you were coming. Well, you're late. I already sent the class out on a mission. Lucky you. You don't have to get graded on this." she grins. Lucky indeed, So the legend about this school has to be true. I look over to my bag for a short minute. The punk clothed teacher points to the set of the desk near the front. "Take your pick. The rest of the class will be here shortly." She yawns before getting nose deep into her work once more. "So uh I thought this was a magic class, right?" I asked. "Well yes, it is. It's an experience type of class for learning type of spells and how to summon mana." She explains further. I nod sitting in one of the front desks. After what seems like half an hour I asked the teacher another question. "Well can you teach me everything I missed?" I asked pulling out my notebook. She scoffed. "How about you ask one of your fellow students for that. You know, get to know them seeing how you're going to be seeing them a lot in this class. Oh and here's this wand to help control your magic seeing how the school didn't give you one. " She goes on to explain pulling out a wand and handing it to me. The wand turns red the moment I touch it. "I'll be back." the teacher then take her leave. Now's my chance to check this thing out. I look into my bag and pulled out the blue scarf I 'found' earlier today. A dragon scaled scarf, these things are pretty rare so how did that brat get ahold of one? Its soft to the touch that I couldn't help myself and started brushing  the soft exterior with my hand. Softer than cotton and it brings you luck. Heh heh I'm going to enjoy this. I start to rub it against my cheek causing me to smile at the texture. That's when I started sensing the teacher and quickly put the scarf back into my bag before she walks in reading a magazine. Not now after two students walked in and one of them noticed I was there.

 "Who's he?" the blue haired girl asked bluntly pointing at me. The teacher looks at me. "Oh that's Akira Okumura. He's your new classmate, a transfer student" she explains sitting up from her magazine. "So where's everyone?" She asked. "Whoa, Hoshi, Don't be rude. " The other girl scolds her before walking up to me with her hand extended to me. I roll my eyes and look away, not really wanting any interaction with these people. "Well my name is Serenity and that's Hoshi. She doesn't know how to interact with others. " She explains giving up on her hand shake.

Not long after the girl that helped me get here walk in. "Oh hey dude. Its Akira, right?" Scarlet waves. I nod as N without glasses this time walked in as well. "N and Scarlet, right?" I asked trying to fully remember their name. N looks at me strangely. "Huh, you got it wrong. My name is Lucky. And who are you?" she smiles waving her arms in front of her. "WHAT!?"Scarlet slap the back of her head. "It that Akira guy. Remember the one we gave directions to." she continues as Lucky rubs her head. "Sorry. I don't remember." she chuckles taking a seat. "Great now that everyone is here, tell us what intel you got." Ms. Z grins looking at the clock. "And you got 30 mintues before class ends, go," she adds. "Let's wait for Leon and Aimii." Lucky adds.

Leon Ly? The Prince of Aura kingdom. Here? the lowest of low classes in Majustsu.  Couldn't be the same person, not mr. high and mighty. A boy and a girl walked it. I burst into laughter noticing that it was Prince Leon. "Pff haha. So the prince has fallen this low. Guess your status couldn't get you to the top of this school, eh?" I laugh. He shoots me a glare. "Who are you?" he hiss slamming his hands on my desk. "You don't have to get all mad Mr. high and mighty." I give a sly grin, liking his pissed off expression. His ears perk down  in anger before he walks away to sit. "Tsk." he mutter.  "OK anyways. I'm Aimii and that's-" " Leon Ly, Prince of Aura Kingdom. I know who he is. How can anybody not." I grin leaning back in my chair. "So you don't like him or something?" Scarlet asked sitting next to me. "Let's get back to the mission. What information did you guys find?" Leon mutters with his arms crossed, glaring at me. 

After a couple of minutes of explaining what everyone learn from their trips, Leon looks as if he was trying to figure out the culprit.  "From what I hear, it seems like the mafia. That kid was probably part of a magic gem deal that went south." I yawn leaning back in my chair Everyone stares at me in shock and confusion. Then the bells rings and I immediately grab my stuff. On my way out Scarlet grab my hand. "Wait how do you know about that it was a gem run?" She asked with suspension in her eye. I roll my eyes  "Ask me later." With that I head out.

I have at least 30 mintues til my next class starts. That'll give me time to steal stuff and do my side job. I pull out a slip of paper with my next job on it. While hiding my school stuff and changing into my attire. I made one more look around before putting my wolf mask on and that girl's scarf around my neck for good luck. From the rooftop, I spot the target, a businessmen from a loan firm that's been scamming people. I pull out my kunai knife as he enters a area without witnesses. Now's my chance. I leap down towards him to make a move. I stop when I  see Serenity in front of me with her arms out. "Hey, don't go attacking people on the street. " She scolds as the guy makes a getaway. "Get out of my way." I glare from my mask. She refused and I ready my kunai to strike her down. 

CLASH!  Something...more like someone blocks my blade. Looking it was..a flaming fist!? Taken back I leap back. "Haha so we meet again. "She grins as the part of her hand that was hit starts to bleed. She wore a dragon mask."Are you ok!" Serenity looks at her with a smile. Kuso...This is a problem.  She looks at Serenity and then to me."So you were at it again. I won't let you hurt anyone." She points to me like she some hero in a manga. She then giggles rubbing her head."Haha that sounded cool?"she gives Serenity a thumbs up. I roll my eyes. "I don't have time for this." I start to head for the target. However, these annoying girls had other plans and stood in my way. "Oi give back that scarf!" She shouts pointing at me,  letting the blood drip and spat around. As soon as Serenity noticed that it was bleeding she grabs something to wrap around it from her backpack.

The target was long gone thanks to them.Tch."You mean this? "I start petting the scaly fur of the scarf. "Yea. I really need it so can you please give it back." The masked  asked holding her hand out like some little girl; shivering as she does. I grin holding my arm out, summoning my chains. I guess I can take out my anger on them, it's good for practice. Wait is this the girl that fought me during that guard mission I had a month ago?
