Some foods mentioned below might confuse you so I have translated what they are to help you out. :) How helpful am I? :P Okay so some foods mentioned in this chapter and what they are, are listed below:

Tonkatsu - deep-fried breaded cutlet of pork.

Yakitori - barbecued chicken skewers.

Kaarage - bite-sized pieces of chicken, fish, octopus, or other meat, floured and deep fried.

Normal POV

I walked out of the room leaving Pein behind and headed towards Deidara and I's room. When I entered I grabbed my things and left to meet them outside so we could start heading for the leaf village. We had been travelling for what felt like hours and I was getting very tired and very hungry, I guess I wasn't fully recovered yet. "Sasori no Danna, can we stop somewhere for the night, un?" I was shocked to see Deidara ask, but then again he had probably not slept very well in a while as he was constantly worried Hidan would come for me.

"No, we will keep going" Sasori commanded.

"But there is a town just a few miles that way and it is starting to get quite dark. We could go there and get some food and then stay the night there" I interjected.

"No means no brat" Sasori growled. I was getting very annoyed as it was as I needed food and without it I was very grumpy, but Sasori growling at me really pushed me over the edge so I suddenly walked over to a nearby tree and lay down on my back and looked up to the clouds. Sasori eventually noticed and he and Deidara stopped in their tracks and turned around. "What are you doing now, brat?" Sasori wondered starting to get a little more agitated by the second.

"I'm not moving until you take us somewhere to eat and rest up!" I protested. I saw Deidara smirk at how annoyed I was making Sasori.

"This is not the time, Kootoni. Get up now or Deidara and I are leaving you alone and completing the mission on our own" he threatened. I was very impressed that he was emotionally blackmailing me and any normal person would have done what he said, but I am far more stubborn than any normal person.

"Well good luck with that. I'm the only one who knows how to get through the barrier that surrounds the hidden leaf village and I'm the only one who knows where they are going once we reach there" I smiled triumphantly, thinking I got him, but I underestimated how stubborn he could be.

"I'm sure we can manage" he countered, then facing toward Deidara he said, "Come on brat, let's get going" I laughed when Deidara came to sit down with me, he then joined me watching the clouds.

"I don't know Danna she makes a good point" he chuckled. I swear if Sasori had gotten any angrier steam would have started coming out of his ears. He gritted his teeth probably wanting to murder both of us and agreed hesitantly to go to the village like I proposed earlier. I got up feeling pretty proud of myself and looked over to Deidara as we smirked to each other. When we got to the village Deidara, Sasori and I walked into a restaurant and sat down. Sasori was in his true form and had gotten out of Hiruko and hidden him in a scroll on the way into the small village.

"Can I get you guys any drinks?" spoke a very pretty young lady who looked like she was in her early twenties.

"Yeah can I have some cola please, un" Deidara decided first. She looked to me and I told her the same as Deidara. She then looked over to Sasori and blushed as she asked him what he would like.

"I will just have water, please" he sighed. She nodded her head and went to get our drinks, but every now and then she would stare at Sasori.

"Looks like you have an admirer Danna" Dei mocked and I snickered, but immediately stopped after I received a death glare from Sasori.

"Sorry Sasori-sempai, but he does have a point" I chirped and he just ignored me.

"It's probably his 'I don't give a damn attitude' that she loves" Deidara teased.

"Or that sexy, messy red hair of his" I chimed in and we both started laughing at Sasori's reaction. He was irritated before this, but now he was enraged.

"Enough, brats" he snarled at us. We stopped laughing when the pretty young waitress came over again and handed us our drinks all the while staring at Sasori.

"Are you ready to order yet?" she asked. Sasori refused to eat anything but Deidara nodded and ordered his food. I was about to order mine when I saw a food challenge board behind her, I smirked thinking finally I can have some fun.

"I will have that" I said pointing to the board. She smiled and laughed a kind-hearted laugh then wished me luck as she left to go get our food ready. I looked over and saw Deidara gawking at me and then at Sasori who looked.. well like Sasori, but I could tell he was just as surprised.

"Are you crazy, un?" Deidara said in utter disbelief. I began to laugh very hard at his priceless expression.

"I'm just having some fun! Besides I can do it easily, you haven't ever seen me eat properly" I commented.

"Yeah right as if you could finish that whole thing, un" he scoffed.

"You wanna bet?" I smirked.

"Alright then what's the wager?" he responded.

"Loser pays the other 9000 yen (about £51)?" I questioned.

"You're on, un!" he replied, smirking.

The food came out and the started to set my table while everyone in the room started staring at me which made me turn a dark crimson colour, but the look on Deidara's face needed to go, so I ignored them and concentrated on winning this bet we had going. 'Come on' I thought, 'you have beaten every food challenge you have ever come across and even ate Choji under the table before'. No wonder I never had a boyfriend, I laughed internally to myself. The challenge consisted of eating several foods from their menu and you had one hour to eat it all. In the middle of the table there was marinated beef with rice and vegetables surrounding it. Then above that there was some Kaarage, to the left there was Yakitori and Tonkatsu and then to the right there was a large bowl of Ramen. All of the portions looked like they had been doubled. After a bit of thinking, I decided I would start from left to right and began to eat very small, but fast bites; leaving the fizzy drink until the end. When the hour was near its end people had started to cheer I looked around and noticed that everyone who was staring at me earlier was now surrounding our table. Deidara was staring wide eyed and Sasori was just staring, but both of them had stopped eating or in Sasori's case drinking a while ago as they were too amazed by what they saw. I was nearly finished the food and I was only just beginning to struggle and before I knew it, I had finished the whole thing before the hour had even finished. I heard cheers erupt from everyone and then the owner of the shop took my picture and placed it on the wall of fame with the only other two who had ever completed the challenge successfully. They then came out and gave me a medal and I then I left the restaurant and waited outside for Sasori and Deidara to pay for their food as I got mine completely free. When they finally emerged from inside the building I felt very satisfied with their looks of disbelief and gave Deidara a smug smile. "What was that you said again Dei? I believe I won that bet". He just muttered something under his breath, probably swearing at me and handed over the money we agreed on. "Thank you" I sang as I took it. I saw Sasori smirking at Deidara's misery as Deidara walked off towards the direction of the nearest bed and breakfast. We ended up staying in a hotel as the bed and breakfast had no room in it. Deidara and I were following Sasori to our rooms or at least that's what we thought.

"What do you mean we have to share a room!?!" Deidara and I both yelled in unison.

"I mean you both have to share a room, how more obvious can I make it?"

"Why do we have to share a room and you get one all to yourself? You don't even sleep!" I bellowed.

"There were only two rooms left and since I am the oldest I get one all to myself, besides you two are used to sharing a room anyway". I glared at him knowing that this was his payback for earlier. I opened the door to Deidara and I's room and stomped inside calling Sasori terrible names under my breath and Deidara followed after me. "Goodnight" Sasori smirked and I just slammed the door in his face when Deidara finally entered the room.

"Jerk!" I shouted when the door slammed shut. I turned around and noticed there was only one bed. "Oh no he doesn't!" I muttered to Deidara as I opened the door and went outside to find Sasori and kick his ass for playing this cruel trick on me, but when I got outside he was nowhere to be seen and he hadn't told us his room number so he could be anywhere by now. "Damn it!" I cursed walking back in and slamming the door again behind me.

"Couldn't find him, un?" Deidara queried.

"No! He is only doing this because of earlier ya know!" I was still yelling.

"Calm down. You can have the bed, I will just sleep on the floor, yeah?". I sighed and remembered how tired Deidara already was because of me and knew that the only way I could get him to agree to sleep in the bed would be if I agreed to share it with him as he would refuse to let me sleep on the floor.

"It's fine I don't mind sharing" I said.

"Really? Because a minute ago you were yelling and swearing at the idea, un" he teased.

"Just shut up before I change my mind" I snapped.

"Wow, touchy!" he sang. I threw a pillow at him and he burst out laughing and eventually I couldn't take it anymore and I burst out laughing too. When we calmed down Deidara and I started to get ready for bed, I walked into the bathroom to change and brush my teeth and when I returned I found Deidara looking out the window bare chested. He turned around and I immediately blushed at his well toned abs. "Like what you see, un?" he taunted, noticing my reaction; making me blush even further. I had no idea what was wrong with me tonight, it wasn't as if I hadn't seen it before, I mean we did share a room together. I calmed down and reminded myself that I had shared a room with him for more than a year now and that this was no big deal.

"As if" I retorted gaining my confidence back and climbing into bed. I felt him getting in beside me and cuddle me, the heat of his chest radiating against my back and the warmth of his breath on my neck sent shivers down my spine.

"Oh really because the way your body is reacting tells me differently" he purred losing his speech impediment.

"Oh shut up and stop breathing on my neck already!" I said shoving him off of me. He chuckled seemingly very proud of himself.

"Goodnight Kootoni, un" he suddenly sounded very serious and when I turned around he kissed me on the forehead and turned his back to me. I was shocked and had no idea what to do, so I just replied by saying goodnight back and turning away from him so I was facing the other way as well.
