The Call

"Hello?" Aurora said on the other line.

"Hi, this is Aurora and Jack right?" Kam says putting the phone on speaker for everyone to hear.

"Yes this is. Did you think about the offer we talked about?" Aurora asked.

"We did and are willing to do it if we get more information on it." Liv says.

"Ask away." Aurora says getting ready for the questions.

"What's the show called and what is it about?" Rudy asked the obvious question.

"It's called Outer Banks and will focus on a group of teens trying to find gold, but a bunch of mishaps happen along the way." Aurora says trying to give as little information as possible about what it's about to them.

"Okay well how long will it take to film a season?" Kiera asked.

"About a year it depends on how fast or slow filming is." Aurora says.

"Do we get assistants because if so, I'm sold." Rudy said.

"Yes, if you accept it will be me and Jack." Aurora says, hoping to wrap up the conversation soon.

"I think that's it right now thanks." Kam says as Aurora explains how she will send the audition pieces tomorrow and everything else they need to do.

"WE'RE GONNA BE FAMOUS!" Rudy yells, throwing his fist in the air.

"Hell yeah." Kiera says going to high five Olivia and Kameryn.

Since it's a slow day at the flower shop, the group of four decides to go over the audition pieces.

"Guys you do realize we have to fly down to South Carolina by next week to audition?" Liv says, taking a bite of her salad.

"Are you sure?" Kam asked going to the counter and looked at the email Aurora sent.

"Yeah I'm reading it with my own two eyes Kameryn." Liv rolls her eyes.

"Maybe you secretly need glasses and are seeing things." Kiera says going to sit on the counter.

"I don't need-Yo Olivia." Chris cuts her off coming in on his phone.

"Eww it's Chirs. You really need to learn the difference between a tulip and a daily. That's right, I didn't forget." Rudy scowls at Chris before taking a piece of lettuce from Livs salad.

"What Chris?" Liv says putting her in a mood. His presence isn't really wanted if you can't tell.

"Just wanted to let you know I wont be here tomorrow."

"You aren't here in general, I'll be fine. Also I have to talk to your parents today at some point." Liv says trying to get out of this conversion.

"Why?" Chris raised a brow.

"You don't need to know about my personal life Chris, I just need to talk to them." Liv says, rolling her eyes.

"For fucking real." Rudy chips in taking another piece of lettuce.

"This doesn't involve you." Chirs glared at Rudy causing him to stand up, grab his shirt and whisper in his ear.

"Anything that involves my peanut involves me getting it? If you ever speak to her again you won't be able to make any babies." Rudy says letting go and throwing him against the wall.

"I'll have them talk to you right now." Chris says quickly walking away getting his parents.

"The hell did you say?" Kam asked

"Just that he won't make babies if he talks to my peanut like that again." Rudy shrugs going to get another lettuce piece but gasps when he sees something in Livs salad.

"What?" Liv asked looking at her salad not seeing anything wrong with it.

"CANIBAL!" Rudy yells pointing at the salad.

"Rudy, what are you talking about? How am I a cannibal." Liv asks looking at Kam or Kiera for the answer but all they do is shrug being just as lost as she is.

"You are eating walnuts and they are in the nut family and you are a peanut so you are eating your people." Rudy says picking up a walnut and shoving it in her face.

"My apologies. I won't eat my people again." Liv says holding out her pinky waiting for Rudy to do the same.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

Locking pinkies Kam and Kiera hold in an awww not wanting to interrupt the moment but Chris's parents had other plans.

"Olivia, you wanted to speak with us?" Chris's mom said looking behind her waiting for Chris to be behind her but isn't.

"Yes. This conversation should not take more than five minutes." Liv said.

"Very well hold on. CHRISTOPHER GET YOUR'RE ASS DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" Chris's mom yells as the rest of them hold in their laugh.

"I'M COMING HOLD ON." Chris yells.

"That's what she said." They all whisper, holding in their laugh.

"Sorry about that, I know how annoying he can be at work." Chris's dad says to Olivia

"Oh we don't talk at work so it's fine." Liv says.

"I know he doesn't come to work even though he should be, which is something we need to talk to him about." Chris's dad says to Liv then Chris's mom at the end.

After what felt like ages, Chris finally came down the stairs on his phone. The man has an addiction to that thing which should be addressed.

"What did you want to tell us Liv?" Chris's mom asked.

"Well this lady and dude came in around a week ago asking if me and my friends would be interested in auditioning for Netflix and we all talked about it and decided to try it. The auditions are in South Carolina though and we have to be there next week so I was wondering if I could have a few days off." Liv says bracing herself for the worst.

"Alright."

"Huh?" Liv asked in shock.

"You are the hardest working employee we have here and everyone loves you." Chris's dad says.

"Thank you guys so much. You have no idea how much this means." Liv says going to hug them but skipping Chris.

"Now I wanted Chris here so he can hear what I'm about to say." Chris's mom says looking at her son.

"You will be taking over Liv's job while she is away and if you don't say bye bye to that phone." Chris's dad says going to grab the phone and hold it over a bunch of water.

"Okay fine fine. Just don't let my phone get wet." Chris says going to get his phone but his dad dropped it anyway.

"Oops." Chris's dad shrugs it off claiming his fingers slipped.

"Why did you do that?" Chris said running to get his phone and sent a glare to his dad.

"Keep up that attitude and you will be living on the streets." His dad said not showing any source of him lying.

"Sorry dad." Chris mumbles.

"Go upstairs." Chris's mom says

"Yes mom." Chris says and goes upstairs.

"Good luck Liv and you guys as well." Chris's dad says before going upstairs along with his wife.

"Time to book a flight to Charlston." Liv says

"Why are we singing Nicki Minaj?" Liv asked, walking in looking at Rudy and Kam with remotes as microphones.

"You were taking too long in the bathroom so we decided to sing a song." Kiera asked, holding flashlights as a spotlight for the two of them.

"I can't believe you started singing without me. Pass me a mic." Liv said as Rudy tossed her a remote.

"WHAT'S UP CALIFORNIA!" Rudy yelled to nobody.

"We are the crackheads on crack and enjoy the show." Liv says as they all got in position and got ready to have the performance of a lifetime.

the only reason i added the last scene was bc i was listening to the song while writing. that's all i got

also today was the first day of spring track and we were inside bc of the rain but then the power randomly went out and the doors closed so we ended up outside and i can't feel anything
