Recap: "What the fuck is a quirk?! And what's the entrance exam for, why not just let them in?"

Chapter Begins: Stevie looked up at Rika with nothing more than a confused deadpan expression, answering incredulously, she couldn't believe it, everyone in the world knew about the quirks people had, hell, there were even some really big families with inherited powerful quirks, like Ingenium, Cowgirl, All Might, Hawks and Fatgum just to name a few "You're being serious, you don't know what quirks are?" Rika's reply was almost instantaneous,

"Nope! Not at all, what is it and what's yours?"

'Oh...My quirk is Telepathy.'

"Oh! Does that mean you can talk and control things with your mind? Is that like a superhero?" Rika's eyes were practically sparkling with curiosity and she gasped loudly while jumping up and down and clicking her fingers, "Are you a superhero, that's so cool!"

'Oh err, no, I can only talk with my mind. It's considered a weak quirk, I was hoping after today I might be on my way to being a hero, or at least part of the support classes-' At that moment Recovery girl walked in looking fed up, mostly with the guy who continuously broke his arms and legs, tutting at the sight of the two girls sat across from each other, she was also confused by the smile on taller girl's face as; judging by the look of her wings she should have been in immense pain. Clearly that was not the case.

"Tch. What are you two girls doing in here? The entrance exam finished 15 minutes ago, you missed your spots now if you would kindly leave my infirmary and find another doctor, I cannot heal you as you did not pass the entrance exam and make it onto the student list- "Rika butted in,

"If you can't heal me can I at least have a change of clothes? Mine are littered with holes and I think there are a few in inappropriate places." Stevie turned bright red upon seeing one of them as Rika stood up to show Recovery girl, averting her eyes. However, before Recovery Girl could actually answer or rush off the find new clothing, the door opened for a second time. The three women paused slightly in confusion before looking down to see a small child looking person whose face was obstructed by a pile of clothes. It wasn't until he set them down on a bed that they could clearly see his face, "Hello future students, Recovery Girl- "Before he could speak anymore Rika screamed and jumped onto the startled Red-head... again.

There was a tiny 'Ow...' from beneath Rika, she somehow had managed to wrap herself around Stevie's waist. Haha uh oh... Stevie's face was smooshed in a place where one of the more inappropriately placed tears were in her clothes. Rika's cheeks flushed pink and she pushed away from Stevie quickly, clearing her throat and looking towards the small mouse man, she calmed down nearly immediately and went back to freaking out, "Is that a talking mouse-bear thing?!"

"It's your future principal actually, Miss Takami, I have added you to the school recommendation list. And through Mr Shield/All Might Miss Reed here has also been selected for the recommendation list. Your exam will take place in two weeks!" There was a stunned silence throughout the infirmary room before Rika piped up again,

"Who's Miss Takami? Is he talking to you Miss nurse?" Nezu scratched his head and then his chin, "Is that not your name, Miss Bird?"

"Oh! BIRD?! BIRD?! No, my name is Rika Fuuyu. I'm an Osprey, not related to anyone named Takami at all, he sounds arrogant." She looked down at a small tug on one of her sleeves, it was Stevie, 'Keigo Takami, or Pro-Hero Hawks as most people know him as has a similar Quirk to your genetics, basically he has wings, but they're different; he can make his feathers do things.'

"Well mine are just normal wings, I bet I can fly faster than him anyway, and I know my diving skills are way better than his." She seemed quite arrogant herself at this point, puffing her chest up in pride.

"Uhm Miss Fuuyu, shouldn't you be crying in pain because of your wings by now? Because it does look extremely painful."

"I have had other kids push me from cliffs before, but none as deep as the one I was pushed from today."

"And Miss Reed, have you sustained any injuries today?"

"You mean besides the broken ribs I now have from being used as a landing pad? Then nope!" Stevie turned a small glare in Rika's direction and the taller girl pouted,

"Can you stop bringing that up please? I didn't know I was gonna fall through a portal and land on a cute girls titties today!" She crossed her arms and sat back down on the bed she'd commandeered earlier, "Also what's the recommendation thingy for?"

"Why it's the more elite side of the entrance exam, of course!"

"Elite? I'm just an Osprey, not that special. Entrance exam for what?" Rika raised her eyebrows in confusion;

"You ask a lot of questions Miss Fuuyu. It's the entrance exam for UA, the most prestigious hero school in Japan!"

"Oh so like the Roost, the most prestigious Army base in Britannia?"

"The Roost was one of the worst Army bases in History, they experimented on people during World War 1, the war was the perfect cover. They were able to hide their experiments until the war ended in 1918, when a battalion was sent out to look for a missing soldier and found him inside the facility."

"It couldn't have been the Roost, the war between the crows was only 50 years ago, and I've never heard of World War 1 before, are you sure it really happened?"

"It's part of our history as it was one of the worst discoveries ever, even after the war, and until World War 2 began."

"Well it wasn't my history, but I'm still sorry for the suffering it caused."

"Moving on, the both of you are scheduled to come in for the exam two weeks from today, your quirks have already been listed so the others on the list know what they're going to be up against and copies of the list will be forwarded to your addresses, have a good day, and Recovery Girl, please heal these two as now, they are in fact one step closer to being part of the student system." With a friendly smile and small wave (No pun intended), Nezu turned around and walked out of the room; most likely heading to his office where he would be writing up the student files for their teachers.

While Rika was busy being smooched by the Old Lady, Stevie was trying to piece together how exactly Rika was supposed to have somewhere to live when she wasn't even from this universe, "Uh Rika? How are you supposed to get the Quirk list if you don't have anywhere to have it sent to?" This girl was extremely baffled.

"Oh I'll probably just sleep on the streets next to a post-office or something."

"Oh no you don't! You're coming home with me, I won'tlet anyone sleep on the streets just because they have nowhere else!" Her green eyes settled on Rika, who was now waitingfor her wings to heal, and directed a determined glare at her; daring her totry and object. Thankfully she didn't as she became way too tired to do so andStevie smiled in triumph
