Chapter 41

Leaning against the headboard of my bed, I lazily run my fingers through my husbands hair, a small smile playing on my lips as I look over his peaceful sleeping face. A small sleepy smile on his lips as he burrows his head into my side with a groan. His hair splayed across the pillow with a lack of flair. His legs tangling in with my own. His arms wrapping themselves around my waist, tightening every so often to prevent me from actually getting out of bed to make breakfast for us before we get ourselves ready for the airport to leave for our two week honeymoon.

As I release a small yawn, Hiro gently patters into our bedroom with a little giggle. His big blue eyes shimmering with happiness as he toddles in and climbs onto the bed, the boy holding his stuffed All Might plush to his chest as he crawls across the bed and kisses my cheek. The five year old nestling himself into my arms as I hold him close and kiss his forehead.

"Have a good sleep, baby boy?" I ask, running my fingers through his red locks as he nods gently and pokes Dabi's cheek making me bite back a laugh as Dabi stirs gently, "Did you have any good dreams?"

"Yeah, I was a superhero!" Hiro declares with a bright grin, his eyes shimmering with glee before covering his mouth as Dabi stirs again, a groan leaving the older males lips making Hiro giggle innocently, "Papa's still asleep,"

"Why don't you go wake him up? I'll wake daddy up," I promise him, biting back a laugh as Hiro darts out of the room to race into the living room where Enji was fast asleep, the Number One Hero managed to get himself drunk (thanks to Natsuo and Dabi filling up his glass with alcohol whenever they could) and passed out as soon as he made contact with the couch. He's going to have a killer hangover this morning...

So Hiro waking him up won't cause a natural disaster because Hiro is his favourite.

Slowly, I push at my husbands shoulder making him groan gently and tighten his grip on me. I roll my eyes playfully at the little gesture and kiss his lips gently, the male sleepily kissing back before I pull away. Dabi's eyes flutter open, a small pout on his lips as I send him a smile. His turquoise orbs full of betrayal making me arch a brow.

"I want another kiss," Dabi demands, putting on a small baby voice, making me snort in a rather ugly fashion which, in turn, makes him laugh, "What the hell was that noise? You absolute weirdo,"

"I love you too," I reply, shaking my head as I run my fingers through my hair before allowing Dabi another kiss, "How's your head?"

"It's alright now, I'm not made of porcelain, doll," Dabi hums gently, pushing himself to sit up with a groan and gently fingers around the bump forming on his head from his little collapsing episode after the ceremony, "I was only out for a bit,"

"You were out for two hours," I remind him, slipping out of the bed with a yawn, stretching my arms over my head with a hum before scratching the back of my neck and grabbing my bed robe, "And Hiro still wants an answer,"

"We'll... we'll talk about it," Dabi says kissing my cheek as he slips into some comfy clothes, a shirt and a pair of shorts, before opening his bedroom door, "Just caught off guard, didn't imagine Hiro wanting a baby sibling,"

"Can't believe you passed out," I teased, squealing with laughter as he throws a pillow toward me and hitting me in my face, the male flipping me off as I sit back up, "I love you, Toya,"

"I know you do, you little shit," Dabi hums, heading downstairs with me in tow. His eyes widen slightly as we come down to the sight of Hiro standing on the arm of the sofa, the five year old ready to deploy and jump his grandfather away. Dabi grins and high fives Hiro who grins back before wiggling himself to get ready, "Are we ready bud?"

After Hiro nods with a grin, Dabi sends him a thumbs up and heads toward the kitchen. Counting down from three, Hiro takes a deep breath and prepares himself, the boy bending down and wiggling himself before springing off the arm of the chair into Enji. Landing straight into his chest and stomach making him wheeze and recoil with wide eyes. The male instantly shrieks like a girl and sits bolt upright, staring at Hiro who giggles innocently and waves toward him without fear. The older male wincing slightly and ruffles his grandsons hair.

A small chuckle leaves Enji's lips as he kisses his forehead before pushing himself to his feet and sending me a small smile as I head into the kitchen to grab him some aspirin for his headache and a glass of water. The older male following me with a small smile with Hiro in his arms, the little angel playing with the collar of his shirt as they walk into the kitchen.

"Morning dad," Dabi says with a small smile, chuckling gently at the state of his father. Enji didn't look the like number one hero like this. His tie was loose around his neck. His shirt untucked. Big heavy eye bags hanging from his eyes and his eyes tiredly blinking. On the other hand, sitting at the dining table, Rei looked like she had just walked out of a modelling magazine, "Ma made pancakes,"

"How are you not hungover?" Enji asks, flopping down into one of the dining chairs and taking a deep breath to try and quell his migraine. The male almost snatching the aspirin from my hands making me arch a brow as he takes them quickly, "Thank you (Y/n),"

"Because unlike you, I didn't drink my body weight," Rei says arching a brow as Enji frowns toward her slightly before she grabs Hiro's cheek and gently squeezing it making him squeal with giggles, "Ready to spend the next two weeks with grandma and papa? We're gonna have so much fun!"

"Yeah!" Hiro squeals happily, clapping his hands together before snuggling into Enji who chuckles and holds him close, "I can't wait!"

With Dabi and I going on our honeymoon, Rei and Enji happily offered to look after Hiro so we could make the most of it. So we could have alone time. So we could make up for the four years without each other. So we could do things that we couldn't do with Hiro around. Enji had given us a little timetable on what he plans to do with Hiro (so Dabi felt comfortable with Enji looking after him and knew what they would be doing) and Rei had already sorted out Toya's old bedroom for Hiro to stay in.

Kindly, my Uncle David had offered his beach house in L.A for Dabi and I to stay in for our honeymoon. So we had a place to ourselves, I could cook dinner for us and make meals that I can't usually do due to living with a hungry little terror that is our son. We could do whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. We even had a rental car that Uncle David is letting us borrow to drive around in and head to restaurants and go anywhere we want.

I, personally, couldn't wait!

Speaking of Uncle David, my megane uncle walks into the living room with a smile on his lips. The male ruffling my sons hair before making himself a coffee, Melissa skips in with a bright giggle and wraps her arms around me kissing my cheek gently. The bubbly blonde sticking her tongue out toward Hiro who blows a raspberry toward her with a smile. Melissa being one of Hiro's favourite people.

"Quick question, (Y/n)," David says looking toward me as he leans against the kitchen counter with a mug of coffee, "Where was your dad? I would have thought he would come considering it's his daughter getting married..."

"He didn't want to come due to Toya's... background," I explain rubbing the back of my neck with a small hum as David nods gently and looks toward Dabi who smiles gently, "And Izuku wasn't there since dad convinced him not to,"

"I'll have a word with him, if not Torino will," David hums taking a sip of his coffee, chuckling as Hiro looks up at him happily, "Excited for your honeymoon?"

"Yeah, we can't wait," I reply happily, leaning into my husband as he wraps his arm around my waist and kisses my temple, "We're gonna have so much fun,"

"Yeah we are~" Dabi purrs, sharing a kiss with me before chuckling as Hiro covers his eyes and blows a raspberry before his eyes light up as he looks toward Dabi, "What bud?"

"Are you gonna give me a baby brother or sister?" Hiro asks tilting his head, giggling as Enji tickles his sides, "I'll eat all my veggies mama! I pinkie promise! And! And! And I'll help dry the dishes!"

"We'll talk about it, bud," Dabi says ruffling his hair, watching as Hiro squeals happily and wriggles off Enji's lap to run around the house with his hands in the air, "He's really easy to please isn't he?"

"Are you two packed?" Rei asks, arching a brow as Dabi instantly looks to me as if it was my responsibility to sort his suitcase out for the honeymoon making me groan, "I guess no?"

"We are, I just need to pack our toothbrushes, toothpaste and something else," I hum with a smile; not really wanting to tell my in - laws and my uncle that I needed to grab some... protection for the fortnight about to come, "Do you need anything for Hiro?"

"No, we'll be okay, we have more than enough," Rei reassures me, sending me a warm smile as I nod before wheezing as Hiro charges into my legs and wraps his arms around my waist, "Careful, Hiro, your mother isn't made of steel,"

"Wanna help mama finish packing her suitcase?" I ask looking toward Hiro who happily nods and presses a kiss to my cheek before skipping off upstairs. I turn my attention toward Dabi who's trying to get his dad to drink some sort of raw egg yolks and telling him it's an amazing hangover cure, "Babe, make sure you're ready before twelve, our flights at two,"

Nodding, Dabi sends me a thumbs up before turning back to his father to try and force him to drink the egg yolks. Shaking my head with a giggle, I head toward my bedroom where Hiro is standing and looking through my wardrobe with a small hum. My eyes widening as he pulls out my lingerie especially for the honeymoon making me shriek and yank it from his hands with my quirk, the boy tilting his head confused.

"What's that, mama?" Hiro asks tilting his head as he sits on my bed with a little innocent smile, like he didn't just invade my wardrobe and try to steal my lingerie, "What is it?"

"It's something for daddy, honey, it's a secret," I hum, stuffing it into the suitcase underneath my toiletries, shaking my head with a small laugh as Hiro giggles and nods, "Don't go through my wardrobe you little devil,"

Before Hiro can reply, I pick him up and tickle his sides making him squeal with laughter. The little boy wriggles with giggles, trying to push me away as I tickle his little armpits. A laugh leaving my lips as Hiro tries to tickle me before I kiss his nose and lay down with him snuggles into my chest. The pair of us relaxing.

"Gonna miss you mama," Hiro mumbles softly, fiddling with my shirt as he hums with a little pout, "You pinkie promise to video call?"

"I'm gonna miss you so much more baby boy," I coo, kissing his forehead and rocking us gently as he begins to twirl my hair with his hand, "Daddy and I will video call whenever we can okay? We're gonna get you so many presents too, I promise,"

As Hiro clings to me, the door to my bedroom opens to reveal Dabi who coos at the sight and sits beside me. The male wrapping his arms around Hiro and I as we snuggle into each other with a small smile. Dabi presses kisses to Hiro's forehead and my own before resting his cheek against my head.

"Love you bud," Dabi coos, chuckling as Hiro peeks up at him and snuggles back into my chest without a word, "You gonna keep grandpa in order for me? Make sure he behaves?"

"Duh," Hiro says, giggling as Dabi tickles underneath his chin before looking up at us with a bright smile, "And you gonna look after my mama? You keep her safe? Yes? Or I'll set Papa All Might and Papa Enji on you!"

"Of course I'll keep your mama safe," Dabi promises, wrapping his pinkie around Hiro's who nods and they seal it by kissing their thumbs, "I pinkie promise, and if something happens to her; I'll let you set grandpa on me,"

Slowly, we all break off to do our own thing. Hiro trotting off to probably terrorise David or Enji for cuddles. Dabi heading off to have a shower while I focus on finishing up my suitcases. Finding myself producing a small checklist to make sure that I have everything that I need inside. A knock at the bedroom door catches my attention and my breath hitches as I see who's at the door.

My father...

Gulping nervously, I set the notepad down and cross my arms over my chest. My eyes trained in on my father who nervously walks in, wringing his hands in front of him with David in tow. The megane didn't look particularly pleased with my father. Melissa walks in too, sending me a smile before sitting down on the bed. What did my father want?...

"Dad," I greet curtly, zipping up my suitcase and securing a lock on it before doing the same with Dabi's, "What do you need?"

"I've come to apologise," My father explains gently, clearing his throat as I rest my hands on my hips and stare him down. The blonde male nervously fidgeting under my gaze, "Both David and Gran Torino have spoken to me and —"

"So it takes one of your mentors and your sidekick to convince you that you were wrong and not your own daughter?" I ask unimpressed, rolling my eyes as David sends me the eyes, as if to tell me to cool it and hear him out. Why are adults so annoying?! Cursing under my breath I allow him to continue, "Go ahead,"

"I apologise for treating Dabi the way I had, for ruining your dinner that you worked so hard to make and refusing to go to the wedding out of spite," My father explains, sighing gently as I look away from him, my eyes looking toward Melissa who sends me a reassuring smile and rubs my back, "I'm also here to wish you fun on your honeymoon and I hope that you and I could... build our relationship back up again after your honeymoon?..."

"Dad... why are you asking me this now?" I ask, looking toward him as he fidgets, my palms growing sweaty the more I look at him, "Why weren't you there when I needed you the most? Why weren't you there when I was like five years old and being bullied for literally having no parents? Why weren't you there when I needed you?"

"I — I'm here now..." he stutters, "Isn't that?... Isn't that good enough?..."

"Look, I have a honeymoon to go to in about..." I begin before checking my phone to see how long I have until we need to leave before grabbing our passports from my nightstand and making sure I have everything packed for the flight as carry on luggage, "Two hours, I'm not having you come in here and ruin my mood. We will talk after the honeymoon and you can tell me your sorry excuses then. But now? I'm not giving you the time nor the day,"

"I see... have fun on your trip,"...

"I will, don't you worry about that,"...
