"I don't know how this story will end, but I know one thing for sure: it was planned long before, and it is playing out exactly as it is written:
Perfectly."

After spending the sleepless night, thinking about the mysterious future, the sun started to rise sluggishly from the East. Consumed up in my thoughts I completely forget to pray fajr, as my eyes laid outside the window, I received an abrupt shock. The bright sun was sending it's  warm yellow lights all over the apartment room and the light blue sky was covered with thick white clouds. It was a bright sunny day Subhan Allah, I cursed myself for not offering the salah and threw my duvet on the floor in infuriation.

I idly raised from my bed and moved towards the bathroom to do my morning rituals. After I was done I quickly prepared sandwiches and made coffee for the breakfast. As I eat alone in silence my mind flickered to the breakfast memories back at my real home. How we used to have breakfast together and how we used to tell each other the following day's routine. But time has changed now as I have to manage everything alone. And that really sadden me so much. But the fact of going back home soon made me fortuitous. I have already planned everything for my return. In Shaa Allah I am going to surprise my family, as I haven't informed them still.

As I was wandering in my thoughts my phone beeps that crashed me back to reality. I checked the phone it was Sana. I quickly picked it.

"Assalam o Alaikum" I greeted Sana cheerily.

"Walaikum Assalam! Where are you Yereha? The ceremony is going to start soon. Hurry up. Come fast." With that she hung the phone and I was really disappointed with her inelegant tone. I shook my head and quickly put on my abaya and hijaab and locked my apartment as I walk faster towards my University.

"Assalam o Alaikum everyone" I greeted as I walked towards my peeps. The arrangements were pretty good and appealing. In front row all the respective teachers were seated adequately. The other rows were reserved for the students and their parents who were delightfully attending their children degree award ceremony. Oh! I wished my parents were there too.

"Walaikum Assalam" came the replies as they all give me small smiles.

"The ceremony has started. Find a seat for yourself." Ayesha whispered loud enough for me to hear properly.

"Sure" I said as my eyes roamed around the hall for an empty seat. And I found one on the farthest corner. I rushed towards that seat. As I comfortably sat my eyes drifted on the direction of the stage. I saw Sir Aman there. He was standing in the middle of the stage ready to be called up the announcer to give his speech. He saw in my direction and I waved him to greet as I couldn't say my Salam with such a distance.

He gave me a warm smile and as his name called out he walked towards the mic for his speech deliverance. And finally the moment came when the degrees were to be awarded to the students. As the announcer started calling the names my heart beats fast in my chest and I could feel the dance of butterflies in my tummy. Nervousness embraced me as I waited impatiently for my name to call. But what happened was something extremely outrageous and heartbreaking. A pearly tear escaped my eye as the excruciating reality hit me.....
