A/n pov:

Pia had Astraphobia since 9 so whenever she hears thunderstorms and lightning she starts getting panic..and there was a deep reason behind her astraphobia

The thunderstorms were bolting continuously and she was getting more and more scares...

Pia: please...

Unable to control her fear anymore, she immediately came out of the room and ran downstairs when she crashed into hard bump chest..

Pia looked up to se it was harsh..

Harsh: what happened pia why are you--

Suddenly pia hugged him tightly which made harsh shocked but eventually he hugged her back

Pia: please save me..

Harsh: but pia from whom? What happened?

Pia: I have Astraphobia...I can't withstand lighting

Harsh immediately understood and picked up her in bridal style..

He came inside his room and laid her on the bed...

Harsh: sleep here..

He was about to go when pia caught her hands

Pia: please don't leave me.. please sleep besides me

Harsh: shh pia I wasn't leaving you, just going to switch off the lights... don't worry I'll be here

She left his hand and he switched off the lights and got besides her..he laid on the other side and turned towards her..

He saw her terrified face while sleeping and having crease on her forehead..

Pia: harsh ji...

She said without opening her eyes..

Harsh: hmm?

She scoot towards her and put her head on his chest causing harsh to get more shocked

Pia: please stay like this..

Harsh didn't said anything but placed his arms around her shoulder and engulfed her in hug..

Pia felt secured in his arms and eventually slept..

Harsh was smiling and admiring pia..
This was the first time when he was sharing his bed someone as usually he doesn't even allow everyone to come in his room except kamla but for her he was ready to do anything

he don't know why but he wants to continue protecting her like this..

after some time he also slept off

Next day|In morning:

Two persons were staring harsh and pia who both were sleeping peacefully..

???: I'm not seeing wrong honey am I?

???: No honey....my eyes are watching same thing too

slowly pia opened her eyes to saw these two people any yelled causing harsh and them to flinched.

Harsh quickly opened his eyes and saw both the person and immediately Got up and sat down.

Harsh: mom...dad...

Pia turned towards him in shocked and whispered

Pia: mom? Dad..?

Time skips~

Reeva Arora aka harsh's mother and Rajiv Arora aka harsh's father were sitting on sofa along with pia and harsh..

Rajiv was sipping his tea while reading newspaper and Reeva was staring pia who was playing with her finger while looking down and Harsh was sitting silently

Pia's thought: god this is so embarassing...why do I always get in trouble.....

After 10 minutes of awkward silence pia decided to spoke

Pia: aunty...l-let me explain...it's not what are you thinking-

Reeva: what's your name beta...

She interrupted pia with a smile which made pia confused but nonetheless she replied

Pia: p-pia Mittal

Reeva: oh pia...what a cute name..where are you from pia?? How do you know harsh?? Are you both Dating??? How old are you? How--

Harsh: maa...let her breath

He said with down face and Reeva said

Reeva: come on harsh...you never brought any girl home in past 15 years and now you were sleeping peacefully with a girl in your own room..

Harsh: mom actually-

Reeva: oh you don't have to explain it to me..In fact I'm glad...you are finally making my dream true...

Harsh: mom don't start it again...

Reeva: shut up harsh I am not asking you. Look pia how beautiful she is...dear what your parents do..

Pia looks down and harsh spoke

Harsh: mom pia parents passed away..

Reeva: oh I'm sorry to hear beta..

Pia: it's okay aunty..it's been a long time anyways

Reeva: but where Did you both met?

Harsh told her everything from starting to until which made both Reeva and Rajiv gasped in shocked

Reeva: my goodness...poor soul was about to get ruin..

Rajiv: I'm proud of you harsh...you did great job...I really raised you well

Harsh simply smiled and pia spoke

Pia: I'm actually grateful for him.. otherwise I don't know where I would had been..

Reeva: it's alright beta...now you are here with us.. consider this as your own home..

Rajiv: Reeva is right pia..we don't have any problem..you are now like our own child..

Pia smiled and Reeva said

Reeva: also me and Rajiv decided to live here for some time so it will be great fun...okay now let's leave these..pia..I want to talk so much things with you

Harsh: no no mom.. don't fill her head with your nonsense

Reeva: go away and let me talk to my daughter- in- I mean with pia..

Both harsh and Rajiv shook their head in disappointment and Reeva resumed her talking with pia
