Before 5 years. 

Shivaay finally got married to her after many struggles, He got attracted to her at the very next second he saw her in her house to meet her for the first time, He thought 26 will be very soon to get married but when he saw her blushy face, He got ready to get married. First, It was his family who back walked saying she lost her father and mother was ill, They thought she will bring unluck to the family. After he consoled his family, It was her mother who stepped to the coma state before a week to their wedding. He stayed with her throughout, Met her in the hospital every day. Surprisingly, None of her family stayed with her when she was in a broken state. 

Her smile and gestures became like a drug to him, He can't live without it. And they got married, Anika stayed with her mom on their first night when her mom's condition worsens. He was surprised to see his soft side which appears only when she stays with him. He hardly visited the hospital and stayed with her and supported her. At one point, She raised her eyelids to him and held his palms tightly. He looked deep into her eyes. 

"Thank you for staying with me. You don't know how much this yearned for this moment in my life. Thank you so much, shivaay." - Anika said busted to tears looking at him. Shivaay pulled her to a hug in an instant.

"Who says thanks to husband? Relax, Ani. Nothing will happen to mom." - Shivaay said and kissed her forehead, They were sitting in the waiting benches before the ICU where her mother was operated. Within a few minutes, Doctors came out and opened up the news to them. Anika busted to cry, Nobody including shivaay couldn't able to console her. Shivaay did the last rituals to her mom as his son-in-law. Her blank face depressed her more than the situation, She stopped smiling, Zoned out for no reason. He brought her back to his mom. His mom and His Maternal Grandmother looked at shivaay as if they are right, She entered the home as a misfortune to the family. 

He planned a trip to Mauritius to bring her back to normal when she stayed locked in their room for the complete two months, After their marriage. As a change, She turned to become normal, They spend quality time with each other throughout the trip. They went sightseeing, Swimming. Anika started to feel conscious when his eyelids didn't move away from her whenever she wore swimming suits. 

"View is in that side, Why are you looking at me?" - She said. 

"I got the license, Bae." - He said pulling her close to him by her waist. She didn't resist him. In the end, They spend the whole day in the hotel room. Shivaay felt like he was living his life with his queen, They were so happy, To be together, Waking up in each other's arms every day. Kissing each other for no reason. Fighting for dessert like kids which always ended up spilling in the floor and concentrating on each other. 

But they have no idea, Their life waiting to be changed when they come back after spending the 10 whole days in Mauritius. They reached the home holding each other's hand. It was his assistant and her father waiting for him to arrive, The tension in their face enough to shivaay to sense something wrong. They moved towards them, Holding their hands. 

"Shivaay, Noors back walked." - His father said as soon as they approached. Shivaay got back to his reality back. It was his dream project which Trivedi's were against him. He had to get merged with them as he got married to their daughter. He signed everything whatever they have shown thinking only about anika. But now, They were showing their true face. He dropped her palm when he realized that his dream project left his hands forever. 

"Ani. You go upstairs." - He whispered to her without looking at him. 

"But Shivaay!" - She whispered. 

"ANIKA. GO." - He thundered, She jerked in a spot. But left to her room. That moment, He realized how much he got messed marrying her. That was not only the issue, He fully got trapped legally because of the merger with Trivedi's. Whatever decision they take it should involve Trivedi's name. And he eventually decided to blackout from the merger which caused multiple legal accusations. He didn't go back to his house for the past month due to these troubles. 

"Do you think Anika don't have any idea about it?" - His father asked shivaay when they got a notice that had to pay 10 million American Dollars as consolations and they also left with the bankrupt. Shivaay stayed silent, They were almost destroyed because of this merger. 

"Dad, I think we should go home." - Shivaay diverted him. He nodded in disbelief and accompanied him to their house. Anika ran towards the drawing-room when she heard his car sound. She was almost terrified to hear the news that oberoi's had gone bankrupt. Shivaay didn't even raise his head to look her when she stood in front of him. 

"Shivaay." - She called but he pulled out his clothes and moved towards the washroom. He got to know everything happening as part of the plan from his detective service. From marrying her to signing the contract. He didn't know it will cost this much for the fault of marrying her. 

"Shivaay don't kill me with this silence. At least, Tell me, or even Yell at me. But please talk to me." - She cried, But this time, He didn't feel pity for her. 

"Trivedi's always been our competitors for so many years, We should have re-checked once they come up with the marriage proposals." - He said She stayed silent when he spoke like that. He left the place as soon as he changed the clothes. He went back to the office when he got an urgent call when he was eating. 

"Shivaay, Even now, It's not late. Divorce her. It's better to cut that string off in the earlier stage." - His mom said when they pulling their head out in that issue. They also handed the divorce papers in his hands. 

He again came up to the room where anika sat silent lying in the bed. Om said that she wasn't keeping well, He prepared himself and reached the room. When he saw her dark eyes, He couldn't stop himself to reach her and sat opposite her. But she was zoned out, Thinking something so deep. She didn't even realize him who was sitting opposite her. 

"Ani." - He called her out while caressing her cheek. She looked at him in a suddenly with a smile but soon the smile faded away in her face. 

"It's okay, It happens, Don't think about that. How are you feeling? Om said you're not keeping well." - Shivaay asked her like a third person. Tears crossed her eyes, But his heart didn't melt, He still thinks she knew everything happening in his back. 

"I am fine, Nothing is normal, Right." - She asked him. He stayed silent. 

"Shivaay, Please believe me, I just came a day before we meet in my house. I don't know anything about it. I swear!" - She said looking at him. She cried bitterly, Even his heart slightly melts to her words, His brain overruled his heart. But he hugged her to console her from crying. 

"Shivaay! I want to say something to you." - She started in a shivering tone. He broke the hug and stared into her eyes. 

"What happened?" - He asked her. She gulped the lump in her throat looking at him. 

"Anika, Please say what happened?" - He asked her when she stayed silent looking into his eyes, She jerked when he asked her. 

"I... I... was late, So I tested, It came out positive." - She said looking his eyes. For a second, He couldn't able to connect the dots. He looked at her wierdly. 

"I can't get you, Anika. Say it clearly, Anika." - He asked her in a firm tone, She was hearing this kind of tone for the first time. 

"I mean, I am Preg. Pregnant." - She told with many scares. 

"What the?" - He stood up from the bed in an instant. 

"Shivaay." - She whispered in fear looking at his reaction. 

"You're saying, You're pregnant." - He asked her, She stood up from the bed even her head spun.

"Shivaay." - She whispered. 

"It means Mom is right, You married me for a reason, You and Your family want to trap me, They were trapping me professionally, And you're trapping me emotionally. And let me clear this to you, Ms. Trivedi. Nobody can trap me, Did you hear it? Nobody can trap me." - He said. 

"Please, Shivaay, Trust me, I don't know anything about it." - She tried even she was hell tired to stand. 

"Please, Don't fool me, Again. And For your kind of information, I am not ready for this shit." - Words came out of patience. The anger sparkled in her eyes.

"It's our Baby, Shivaay." - She said gritting her teeth in anger. 

"Whatever. I am not ready for anything, You got it." - He said and left the place leaving crying anika in the room. Her sobs were heard till she reaches the drawing-room, But he never attempted to turn back.

He felt whatever he has with him was fake, and he lost her, Nobody is responsible for his loss, But him. He always looked at her with a doubt look, But now, Looking at him in the disgusted look. He tried to phase him and but he felt like drowning in the pool of guilt. He should have believed her. In a second, He got convinced that she was the one who responsible for his every loss. When he was running behind to save his company from drowning, He left her unnoticed suffocating. 

"Naina was always cute, Right. Aru, Look at didi." - He heard Gauri's voice from Rudy's room.

"Naina is the meaning for cuteness, Whenever I see her, Roses comes to my mind. So. So. So. So. Cute. And rudy, Video call her, I am missing her to the core." - He heard om's voice. Shivaay's legs automatically walked towards their room. Peeped inside their room, Didn't confront them. Rudy's phone screencast in his Television. They were looking at Naina's childhood pictures. 

"I don't call her, We fought last night." - Rudy said in a fake angry tone. 

"Fought? For what?" - Gauri asked him, When om nodded in disbelief, Scrolling her pictures in the television screen. 

"Like father Like Daughter. Full of Attitude, I asked her to call me as soon as she came out from her gymnastic classes," - Rudy said while adoring Arush's rose who laughed when he pinched his nose. Shivaay eyes welled up when he saw Naina looked so peaceful in Anika's arms. And shivaay was not there even in pictures. 

"She didn't call you!" - Gauri asked her. 

"She called me and Introduced her boyfriend to me." - Rudy said Shivaay lips widened in an instant when he heard rudy's words. But Gauri and Om looked shocked. 

"Boyfriend?" - They both asked in chorus. 

"Friend of her, He's a boy. The point should be noted." - Rudy said. Om smacked his head in an instant, Shivaay laughed in an instant without any sound. 

"My heartbeat raised in a moment. Arush bite him, He's ruling your sister." - Gauri said, She said but he kissed his hand. 

"See, Arush Boy is in my team. Don't worry, We will kick her every boyfriend out." - He said and enacted like giving hi-fi to him. Shivaay was too adored to see their bond. He thanked God for his brothers to fill the void in his daughter's life when he failed to notice her value. 

"Naina's video of walking for the first time." - Om exclaimed He played the video. Naina was too chubby, Had uncountable fleshy-rolls in her hands and legs. He was standing stagnated smiling at the camera. Tears crossed his eyes when he realized she has her smile. 

"Walk Naina." - He heard Rudy and Om's yelling in the background. Anika was sitting next to her in her casual-tee smiling at her and clapped at her. 

"Sabash Naina..." - Om and Rudy yelled continuously when she takes a step ahead trying to Reach Anika. She walked four steps but didn't take any step when Anika moved a little bit backward but crossed her arms and stared at her angrily. 

"Look at her Attitude." - Rudy exclaimed in the video. Anika took her in her arms and showered her with kisses. 

"Tell them, You're the daughter of Shivaay Singh Oberoi, They can least expect this from you." - Anika told to Naina while kissing her lips. By then Her eyes moved aside and she waved at somebody with her chubby hands. 

"Papa." - She spelled out, Here Shivaay's heartbeat skipped for a while when he heard him calling him papa for the first time in an innocent tone. Camera pointed him walking inside in his blue blazer. 

"Bhaiya, Naina walked for the first time, I tapped it." - Rudy's voice was heard who was capturing the moment. He signed disbelief at them and walked towards the room without even noticing Anika and Naina. When the camera turned towards Anika, Naina was hugging her mom tightly, And her head buried in her neck crook. 

"Naina, Let's go to the park. Come." - He heard om's voice, But she nodded no while hugging her mom. 

"Upset."- Anika whispered while patting her back. Om immediately switched off the phone. And Tears crossed in shivaay's eyes thinking about the beautiful moment he missed in her life. He should have celebrated her but he didn't even turn back to look at her. 

"He has always been an idiot." - Om cursed him but Rudy immediately called her from the screen which cast-screened in the television. It was the video call, Anika attended the call, She looked like someone who had just now waken up from the sleep. Shivaay couldn't stop himself from crying 

"Bhabhi!" - Rudy yelled at rudy and waved at her. 

"Hi, rudy!" - Anika replied uninterested while scratching her head in sleep. 

"I told not to call her, See, Woke her up from the sleep." - Om said and smacked his head. 

"Liar. Liar." - He said, "Pants on fire." - They heard naina completing the sentence. Everyone chuckled in an instant. Naina ran towards her and picked the phone from her. Shivaay's mood automatically changed when she saw her smiling, For a second, He got relieved from all the pain. 

"Partner!!!" - Rudy screamed at her. 

"Naina, Didn't go to Ni-Ni. It's already 12, Baby!" - Gauri asked her.

"No, Chachi, Mumma working." - Naina replied while keeping the phone downwards.

"Mumma Working, I understand. What's naina doing?" - Om asked her. 

"Disturbing." - She said laughing cupping her mouth, Everyone chuckled expect Anika who stared at her from the corner. Shivaay finally realized the magic which anika keeps mentioning it for years. She always said, Once she said papa from her mouth, Everything will change. She speaks with Arush who laughed hysterically clapping his hands when he saw Naina in the big screen. Anika laughed at his cuteness and gave him a plane kiss. Tears crossed his eyes when he realized how much he missed her son. They rested the call after talking with them for some time. 

"Thankgod! Naina became normal." - Gauri muttered. 

"Yeah, Especially after joining in Gymnastics. She looks so strong, Now. Right" - Om asked her. Only Gauri knew what she's mentioning. She didn't say anything to them. 

"She is too determined. I never have seen any four old kid being serious like this."- Rudy said. 

"It's inherited, Both of her parents are hard workers, Shivaay, We know about him. But have you seen, Anika? Even After five years break, She's still potential. They gonna buy a range rover." - Om said. Shivaay felt proud, And again he underestimated her. He never knew one day, He had to witness this day and yearning for her presence. And his phone didn't even have either of his important ladies pics to adore them. He still hears Naina's voice calling her pappa in that video. He broke into pieces.
