Shivaay was about to loose his patience when anika asked him to drop them in Chaitra's place. He tried to convince her but she was not ready to move into his place again. He looked at Naina who lay in her chest, She decided. Shivaay didn't speak anything but got ready to drop them in Chaitra's house. Shivaay dropped Khanna in the mid-way and takes place in the driver seat. 

"You both stay there." - Shivaay said when Anika about to switch the seat to the passenger seat. She knew about shivaay that he hates to look like a driver, He wants somebody to sit in the passenger seat while driving. Anika was slightly surprised. 

"Are you okay?" - Anika again confirmed it to him.

"What will happen to me? - He asked in an uninterested tone. Anika knew the reason behind his sudden grumpiness but she can't come to his place that too with naina.

He stopped the car in front of Chaitra's house. Anika made Naina sleep since she was continuously sobbing as she left her puppy (soft toy) in the plane. And returning back to that is almost impossible. He opened the door for Anika and took naina in his arms. They walked towards the lift, Anika didn't stop him. They pressed the calling bell. Nobody attended the door. 

"Does she know you both are arriving?" - Shivaay asked her.

"I was in a hurry. I forgot to call her. But she never leaves her house." - Anika told to shivaay. 

"Naina is getting disturbed. Come let's go." - Shivaay asked her while pulling her wrist in the other hand. 

"Now tell me, Where should I drop you? In the hotel." Shivaay asked while narrowing his sight on her. She couldn't able to reply to anything but she didn't want to go there. 

"I am not thinking about myself, What will your parents think if I enter the house in the early morning with naina? Why are you not understanding me?" - Anika asked him out of frustration. She lowered the sound when Naina jerked in shivaay's arms. Anika rubbed her back along with shivaay. 

"You should have said this before." - He said pointing out that she should have told about the miseries she faced in his house behind his back. They even pointed their finger on Anika's character. Anika stared at him shockingly. 

"I mean you're caring about my parents. Don't worry, They are not in home, they went to Delhi to meet their friends. Only me, Arush, Om, Gauri, and rudy are there in the house. If you want, I will drop you both in the hotel, Tell me." - Shivaay asked her. Anika got convinced. 

"Let's go to your place." - Anika said finally. Shivaay was still depressed thinking about her hesitancy to come to his place thinking about his parents. He didn't want to think anything further, The way naina cried in fear after puking in his lap was still in his mind. Like his parents, He also distanced Naina from him. 

Shivaay parked the car, Rudy ran towards the car and took naina from anika before she gets down from the car. Gauri accompanied them. 

"Partner?" - Rudy called her. She hmmed but didn't talk anything. Shivaay saw her legs which were plastered along with strong cardboard which resists her from moving the leg. Her hands automatically came to rudy's collars and held him tightly. 

"Oh my god, My baby! How did it happen?" - Gauri asked Anika who was equally tired. 

"We will talk about it in the morning. Gauri, Please take her." - Shivaay asked Gauri. Anika walked towards the guestroom and shivaay noticed that He didn't ask her anything. He was thankful to her for that. 

"Arush?" - Anika asked. 

"Sleeping in Bhaiya's room." - Gauri replied. Anika didn't reply anything, She badly wanted to go to his room to see her son, But the moment she recalled denying shivaay to meet naina, She didn't leave with any word to ask permission. 

"Oh okay." - Anika replied in a disappointed tone. 

"Shall I bring him to your room?" - Gauri asked her.

"No, Gauri. He might be in his half-sleep, I will meet him tomorrow." - She said Before Gauri could say anything she excused herself and locked her in the washroom while taking some clothes from her luggage she brought. She rested herself in front of the hot shower and relaxed the tightened feeling in her head. 

She didn't want to think about anything but the things she faced in this house beamed inside her head without asking any permission. She should have asked shivaay to take her to the hotel. But she couldn't able to say anything seeing his changed behavior towards Naina. 

He never saw her this much cool, But Naina afraid to go in front of him from the moment she started to know things. He even consoled her when she cried for her soft toy Figi, Om gifted her in the memory of Naina's pet figi, a One-year-old puppy, Anika gifted to her in her 3rd birthday when she was a month pregnant with Arush.  Over then, Figi was just 6 days old, She got it from the adoption center, Japanese chin specious. Anika didn't see her so happy then. 

But shivaay couldn't tolerate figi at any cost and it's sound. Naina even practiced Figi to be silent, When Naina hid behind Anika, Figi hid behind Naina whenever Shivaay crosses them. Anika was surprised when figi heard Naina's words. If she asks him not to bark, Figi will never bark but find it's way to her lap. They hug and sleep like a sibling. Anika tried to stop her initially but she couldn't stop herself from adoring them. 

Both Anika and Naina were shocked to the hell when shivaay take figi out of the house on the next day after Anika asked the divorce from him. They tried to search for Figi everywhere but couldn't find it. Naina became so worse afterward, She stopped talking, But Om ordered a soft toy which look-a-like figi and gifted it to her. Anika knew it's the outcome of his anger but Naina hurted to the core because of that. 

She didn't want to think about anything but she couldn't stop her brain from every pain, Disappointment. She had no trace over her self-respect when she lived in his shelter but she felt secured and protective. She felt like she had a person with her who would travel with her till the end, But that too faded away when they divorced him for her child. She knew he can't love anyone else other than her. If he could, He must have done it in the past five years. But he didn't. A relationship with love and without respect is like a boat in the middle of the sea without any row. You can only survive but you can't move forward. 

She stepped out of the washroom wearing her nightclothes, She was surprised to see Arush sleeping in the cradle in her room. And Naina clothes were changed, sleeping in a corner of the bed where her leg rested in the pillow. She couldn't stop herself from reaching Arush, Tears rushed out of her eyes without any control. She finally had a chance to touch him after a whole month of staying away from him. She took him in her Arms and rested him next to Naina. 

"I know I am bad, Very bad. But I love you so much, Arush. You don't know what you have given to us. You born as hope for both of us. I will cherish you for the entire life, My baby. My arush." - Anika said kissing sleeping Arush's palms and gazing Naina. She rested herself next to him and hugged him gently. In no time, She fell asleep. 

Shivaay could hear Anika's silent snores when he moved into her room. He couldn't stop himself. The way she hugged Arush clearly told him how much she misses her son. He sat next to her without any tension. Because he knows, If he could hear her silent snores, No sound will have the tendency to wake her until it's from her children. But shivaay never comes to that category. It has always been his favorite time to talk to her heartfully. He held her palms and kept it in his lap and buried inside his two palms. It didn't affect her sleep anyway. 

"I know you can't hear me. Don't know why I didn't get any confidence to say this to you when you are awake. But I wanted to say it now, Ani. You know I always loved you and took you for granted every time. I even didn't take the divorce seriously, I thought, at last, You will be left with no way other coming back to me. I was rude, I was so careless about you."

"The moment you left me without turning back in the court, I got a pinch of my future, How will my life be like without you. I couldn't stop myself from crying for you. And when I heard you left the city forever, I totally lost myself. I thought you were playing with me. Over then, I realized what I lost in my life. I realized you are one who completed me without my knowledge in these past five years. I even hurt Arush in the tension."

"And Naina, I still have no courage to face her, It's definitely not the way you are thinking Anika. It's because I tend to loose you forever when she born. That nightmare still haunts me. I know she's the part of us, Symbol of our love. But the trembling feeling I felt when the doctor asked for the choice, Whether to save you or Naina. I was lost. I was mad, I blamed her for your condition. I couldn't able to see anything beyond you over that time. But when Naina asked for me to show her trophy, My hesitancy, My guilt everything faded away. You are right, Ani. You remember you told me one day that everything will change if she calls me Papa. Everything changed, Ani. I am not the same person. I understand I was the only person who should be blamed for this situation. My naina getting scared of me, It's all because of me. I should have listened to you, Believed you. I never trusted you much than loving you. I should have trusted you." - Tears didn't fail to cross his eyes. He couldn't stop himself. 

"I know I can't change everything, But I will try my level best to change something. I will always be like your shadow which never leaves you in any situation. I understand you never would have left me If I ever been a good father for our kids. I know it's late but I never let my naina suffer more. And most importantly, This time, I will never disappoint you in any way. I promise." - Shivaay kissed her forehead with teary-eyed. But she was sleeping peacefully.

Naina woke up in a jerk when she heard Figi's barking and running sound but she couldn't move because of the fracture but half sat in the bed. In no time, Figi ran to the bed and started to lick Naina's face. Naina engulfed figi to the tightest hug. She couldn't believe her own eyes. Second, it's was Anika who waken up with a surprise. 

"Mumma, Figi." - Naina cried to her in happiness while holding Figi in the other hand. Before Anika could process anything, Shivaay knocked on the open door and asked for permission to come in. Anika was surprised. Naina looked at him shockingly. 

"Finally figi back to his mumma." - He said taking a seat opposite to naina in the bed, His face was too low. He couldn't meet naina's face. Naina eyes widened looking at him. 

"I am so sorry for taking figi away from his mumma. I promise I will never repeat this mistake ever in my life, Naina." - He said while pinching his ears to naina. He had real tears in his eyes.

"Figi." - Naina instructed Figi. Figi went to anika in a spot, Naina didn't wait for a moment to hug shivaay, He moved close to her when she couldn't move close to him with her fractured leg. Anika stayed stuck, But tears crossed in her eyes when she saw his genuine low face. 

"It's okay, Papa. Please don't cry." - Naina said to him while resting her face in his shoulder. But her words provoked shivaay to bust it out.

"I love you, Baby." - He busted to cry. He had no words left in him when she forgave him in a spark for the rejection, Ignorance she's getting from him for the past four years. Anika left with no word but tears crossed from her eyes uncontrollably, Naina should never forgive him but she did, And also she's consoling him. Is this the best part of being a child?
