For the next two weeks, Regina stayed home from school with Emma to help her with the twins. They were so cute and Emma and Regina loved them. After those first two weeks, Kathryn offered to help care for them so we could complete the last few weeks of our senior year. The first day back, Ruby offered Regina a job at granny's so she could earn some money. Regina accepted and began working that night. The first day back was tough though, especially for Emma. She couldn't stand not seeing her babies for 8 hours. "Em, they're okay, my sister is taking care of them." Regina said trying to comfort her. "I know, Gina, it's just hard." Emma responded. "I know, just stick it out for a few more weeks, then we graduate and we can move out." Regina said. The last two weeks, Regina had been staying with Emma and the twins like she had promised her, but it was hard to have some love time when her mom was always in the house. Emma sighed and nodded.

The next few weeks went by really fast. Regina had been working at granny's every night for two weeks. She was exhausted, but every night she made at least $200 in tips which made it all worth it. Tomorrow was graduation day, and neither Emma or Regina could sleep very well, and not because of the babies crying. They were too excited to sleep, so they just snuggled up against each other in Emma's bed, eventually the two of them did fall asleep, but only to be woken up 5 minutes later by Emma's mom. "Girls, it's graduation day, the babies are hungry, and you need to get ready." She said poking her head through the door. "Thank god we're moving out." Emma said with a sigh. She went over to Ava's crib, picked her up and carried her over to the bed where she began breast feeding her. Regina got up and picked out a really pretty white dress to wear. Emma smiled seeing Regina in all white. It made her think of what her wedding would be like. By the time Regina was finished getting ready, Emma was already putting Henry back in the crib. "Gina you look like a queen!" Emma said when Regina walked out of the bathroom. Regina blushed and pulled Emma in for a passionate kiss. Emma pulled away after a minute and quickly got ready as she realized they had to be at the school in 45 minutes. Regina went through the baby clothes and picked out a beautiful light pink lacy dress for Ava and khakis and a nice shirt for Henry. Regina dressed them and put them into their car seats. When she clicked Ava in, Emma came out of the bathroom wearing a beautiful light blue dress that complimented her eyes perfectly. "Wow babe!" Was all Regina could manage to say. Emma wrapped her arms around Regina's neck and Regina placed her hands on Emma's hips and pulled her in for a kiss. Just then, Emma's mom came in. "Oh sorry girls, but we better go if we want to be on time." She said blushing with embarrassment. Emma picked up Ava in her car seat and Regina picked up Henry in his and they carried them to Emma's mom's car. Her car had more space for the car seats and she would be looking after the twins during the graduation ceremony. Emma and Regina went to Emma's car and got in. Emma drove them to the school and parked in one of the few spots still available. They went into the cafeteria, where everyone was supposed to meet to get their caps and gowns. They quickly grabbed theirs and found Ruby and Belle shortly after. Together, they all walked into the crowded gym where they found seats with all the other graduates. Finally the principal came out on the stage set up. "Ladies and gentlemen thank you all for coming tonight..." He began but the microphone made an awful screeching sound. Almost immediately, a baby started crying and Emma and Regina looked at each other and laughed knowing that it was either Ava or Henry. The principal continued talking, but neither Emma or Regina were paying much attention. They were both thinking about moving out into a loft apartment in the center of town. Then the principal began calling out names and handing students diplomas. "Regina Mills" the principal called. Regina stood up and walked on stage and took her diploma with a proud smile. She came back down and took her seat next to Emma. A few more students were called up and finally "Emma Swan". Emma jumped up and ran on stage with a big smile on her face. Regina laughed she looks like a 5 year old on Christmas Regina thought. Emma came back down and rejoined her group of friends. After everyone had received their diplomas, everyone threw their caps in the air. Everyone cheered and clapped before everyone started going their own separate directions. Emma and Regina found their mothers, Kathryn and the twins and hugged them, before going back to Emma's to celebrate with Ruby and Belle.

The next few days were crazy. Emma and Regina were trying to get everything packed into boxes so they could move into the loft apartment. Luckily they had Kathryn and their friends to help. The Ava and Henry were a month old now and they were growing fast. Finally after hours of packing, everything was packed and loaded into the moving truck. Emma and Regina put the twins in the back seat of Regina's car, and drove off to their new home. After two weeks of trying to get settled into their new home, everything was almost perfect. "Em, this is perfect!" Regina said as they unpacked the last box. " almost perfect." Emma replied kissing Regina hard. "We aren't married yet." Emma whispered in Regina's ear. "We're working on that." Regina smiled and kissed Emma back. They went into their room and they continued to kiss each other. Emma ripped off the shirt Regina was wearing and unhooked her bra. Emma massaged Regina's breasts but almost immediately, Ava started crying. Emma sighed and foot up to see what was wrong. Regina whimpered wanting her Emma back. "Don't worry babe, I'll be back." Emma said kissing Regina lightly. She went over and checked on Ava. Emma picked her up and immediately noticed something was wrong. "Gina, she's burning up." Emma said quietly. Regina walked over to her and felt little Ava's cheeks, which were burning. Regina called her mother who came over immediately. She knew exactly what to do so she stayed and helped the girls learn how to care for their baby. After a few hours, her fever had gone down, but she still wouldn't wake up. Emma was worried, so she called dr. Whale, who came over right away. He gave her some medicine and left all with in a half an hour.

The next morning Ava was worse, so they made the decision to take her to the hospital. "I can't loose my baby Gina!" Emma cried. "I know, I feel the same way Em." Regina said trying to comfort Emma despite the tears in her own eyes. Henry was with Emma's mother while they were waiting to hear the news about Ava. After hours and hours of not seeing their little girl, Dr. Whale finally approached them. "Look guys, I know this is hard to hear, but she needs a heart transplant right away." He said with sadness in his voice Emma and Regina cried in each others arms. "This is going to be hard on you every way, including financially. Are you ready for that?" He asked. Regina and Emma both nodded. "Okay well we will see what we can do for you." He said getting up to leave. Regina called her mom "mama?" She cried into the phone. "Ava needs a heart transplant... She may not make it." Regina said continuing to cry. "Oh honey I'm so sorry." Her mom said. "Just stay strong honey, have hope that she will be okay. That's the best thing to have right now." She said. Regina smiled a little. "I know mama. I love you." Regina said. "I love you too honey, take care of Emma, I'm sure she's worried sick too." Her mom said. "I will. Bye." Regina said.
