It was Christmas Day, and Regina's family was over at Emma's to celebrate with them. Of course as soon as they walked in the door of Regina's house the day they had the ultrasound, her mother was all over them, but they both refused to tell her anything. Today was the day. Emma's mom didn't know about their relationship yet so that was one more thing they had to tell them. They were all sitting around the Christmas tree, all gifts had been opened. "So, Regina, Emma, when are you going to tell us?" Regina's mother said smiling. Emma's mother didn't know that they went for an ultrasound so she was confused. "Tell us what?" Emma's mom asked. Regina took Emma's hand and smiled looking into Emma's green eyes. Emma took a deep breath before answering the question. "First of all, mom, Regina and I are together..." Emma said. Emma's mom smiled and looked at their hands. "Second, Regina took me to get an ultrasound... and... Um... well, just look." Emma said handing her mother the envelope with the ultrasound photos. Regina's mother scooted next to her and Kathryn stood up and went around to the back of the couch to see the pictures. Emma and Regina glanced at each other nervously before Emma's mom finally took out the pictures and looked through them smiling. When she saw the last picture, she gasped and her hand flew to her mouth and tears spring in her eyes immediately. Regina's mother and Kathryn stared at the picture not believing what they saw was true. Emma's mom handed the pictures to Regina's mom and stood up to hug Emma. Emma hugged her back before they sat back down. "Twins!" Emma said excitedly. "Oh my god! Emma that's crazy! I mean amazing, but crazy!!" Regina's mom said with a big smile on her face. Just then Emma jumped feeling something kick inside of her. She smiled when she realized it was the babies. She quickly grabbed Regina's hand and placed it on her belly where she felt it kick. Regina smiled when she felt the kick and she looked at Emma with love in her eyes. She desperately wanted to kiss her, but she knew it would be inappropriate to do so in front of their mothers. "Oh for god sake just kiss already!" Emma's mom said laughing. Emma smiled and passionately kissed Regina. They enjoyed the moment, soaking it all in. "It's a special moment feeling your baby kick for the first time." Regina's mom said. The two of them pulled away panting. "Great, She's pregnant and I'm the one whose sick." Kathryn said joking, earning a glare from Regina. "So genders?" Regina's mom asked excitedly. "A boy." Emma said smiling at Regina. "And a girl" Regina said smiling at Emma. Their moms smiles grew even bigger and they stood up to hug their girls. It was a moment they all shared, and knew they would cherish for ever. They all parted from their long group hug and Emma's mom began to speak with a huge smile on her face."Regina, I'm so great full Emma has you by her side. I don't know what we would have done if you hadn't come into our lives." Regina smiled and hugged Emma's mom, knowing that she meant that she had accepted me being with her daughter.
