Karan was driving the car and was glancing at Preeta in between.. the journey was going on silence and he was getting bored so he thought to start the conversation

Karan: Preeta

Preeta looked at him

Preeta: Kya hai?

Karan: Umm.. woh mai keh raha tha ki abb humari shaadi hone waali hai toh ku naa hum humare beech jo dusmani hai usse khatam kar de.. I mean kya hum dost nahi ban sakte

Preeta (thinking deeply): Mai aur tum dost sunn ne mai thora ajeeb nahi lag raha

Karan: Accha mai aur tum husband wife yeh sunn ne mai tumhe ajeeb nahi lag raha

Preeta: Haa baat toh tumhari sahi hai.. toh theek hai (smiled) mai tumhari dost banungi

Karan smiled widely listening to her and both did a handshake

Karan: Waise tum ketni lucky ho tumhe etni aasani se The Karan Luthra ki dosti mil gayi naa

Preeta (rolling her eyes): Ohh.. god.. tum aur tumhara yeh self obsession.. are lucky toh tum ho ki tumhe Preeta.. Preeta Arora ki dosti mil gayi

Karan: Par phle dosti k liye maine pucha.. isse proof hota hai ki mujhse jyaada attitude tum mai hai

Preeta: No.. tum mai attitude bhara hai.. mujh mai toh jara saa v attitude nahi hai

Karan: Haa haa.. saare buraiya toh mujhme hi hai aur saari acchaiya tumhare uss Rahul mai hai right?

Preeta: Tum baar baar Rahul par ku chale jaate ho? problem kya hai tumhe Rahul se?

Karan: Mujhe uss Rahul se koi problem nahi hai.. woh Rahul hi bohot badi problem hai.

Preeta: Dekho tum mere bestfriend k baare mai aise kuch v bakwas nahi kar sakte samjhe

Karan: Woh tumhara dost hai toh mai v toh hu.. av toh fresh fresh dosti ki humne... aur toh aur tunhara hone waala pati parmeshwar v

Preeta: Ek min yeh fresh fresh dost kya hota hai.. kya kya bakwas karte rehte ho bajarbattu

Karan: Tum bajarbatti

Preeta: You kadwe karele

Karan: You kadwi kareli..

Preeta/ Karan: Youuu...

Karan/ Preeta: Shut up

Both looked at each other irritatingly and then looked away

Karan stopped the car with jerk due to which Preeta's phone fell from her hand... she gasps looking at her phone

She picked up her phone and looked at the scratch.. she looked at Karan and glared him in the most dangerous way she could

Karan gulped seeing her

Karan: Pree.. Preeta.. I.. am so.. sorry woh.. woh.. galti se hua

Preeta: Really? galti se? tumne yeh sab jaan bujh kar kiya hai.. taaki tum mujhse badla le sako

Karan (confused): Haii.. kis cheej ka badla?

Preeta: Av jo hum jhagra kar rahe the usme mai jeet gayi thi uska badla

Karan: Excuse me.. ladai mai jeeta hu tum nahi

Preeta: Mai jeeti hu maine kaha naa

Karan: Mai jeeta hu maine v kaha naa

Suddenly someone knocks the window of the car

Karan irritatingly opens the window and looked at the man

Karan: Kya hai ku pareshan kar rahe ho.. hum jhagra kar rahe the.. tumne disturb kar diya

Preeta: Wahi toh.. etna important kaam kar rahe the hum aur tumne disturb kar diya

The man: Maaf kar do bhai... mai

Preeta: Aree ekk min mai bhai nahi behen hu.. I mean mai ladki hu

Karan: Haa.. tumhari himmat kaise hui meri biwi (Preeta looked at him) I mean hone waali biwi ko bhai bolne ki.. chalo usee behen bolo

Preeta nodes agreeing with him for the very first time in her life

The man (numbly): Mujhe maaf kar dijiye bhai aur behen ji.. mai bas yeh bolna chahta tha ki aap please car parking area mai park kar dijiye... yaha jaam lag gaya hai.. uske baad aap dono apna important kaam continue kar sakte hai

Preeran widens there eyes and Karan immediately took the car from there to parking area

Both rememberd the incident and laughed more

Suddenly Karan stopped laughing and looked at Preeta lostly

Karan (smiles): Abb chalte hai

Preeta smiles nodding and both headed towards the mall hands in hand

Preeta: Kya hai yaar.. tumhari problem kya hai.. har dress reject kar de rahe ho.. aree etna time toh mujhe v nahi lagega apni dresses select karne mai

Karan: Mai kya karu yaar.. mujhe koi dres pasand nahi aa rahi toh meri kya galti

Preeta: Tumhe exactly chaiye kaisi dress

Karan: Kuch mere type kaa.. aree yaar I mean The Karan Luthra ki shaadi hai.. toh kapre toh best hone hi chahiye

Preeta: Tum naa ekk kaam karo.. khud ki dress khud hi select kar lo.. mai chali apni dress select karne k liye.. ku ki agar tumhari help karti rahi naa toh meri shopping toh hone se rahi

Saying this she left from there while Karan just rolls his eyes at her

Karan: Uss bajarbatti ko kya lagta hai... yeh meri help nahi karegi toh mai dress nahi select kar paunga kya

He winks at her and leaves

She was trying to tie the lace but was continuously failing

She again started struggling with the blouse dori when at the same time Karan entered inside the room

Preeta widens her eyes and turned towards him shockingly

Karan too looked at her shockingly

Preeta was about to shout but Karan kept his hand on her mouth stopping her

Karan: Pagal ho gayi ho kya.. pura mall aa jayega yaha pe.. aur sabko lagega ki mai tumhare saath jabardasti kar raha tha yaha.. police ko pakra denge sab mujhe (removes his hand)

Preeta: Toh agar tum aise achanak se changing room mai ghus jaoge toh koi v ladki chillayegi

Karan: Aree yaar mujhe nahi pata tha ki tum andar ho.. warna mai ku aata (Preeta narrowed her eyes) don't give me that looks mujhe sach mai nahi pata tha.

Preeta (shrugs her shoulders): Mai kya karu tumhari personality hi aisi hai.. tumhari niyat ka koi bharosa nahi kanhi v kharab ho sakti hai

Karan: Tumhe kya mai pagal dikhta hu jo tumpe apni niyat kharab karunga? aur ekk min tumne gate pe thik se band ku nahi kiya tha.. agar meri jagah koi aur hota toh?

Preeta bites het tongue

Preeta: I.. I am sorry woh.. woh actually maine check nahi kiya thik se.. I.. think yeh.. yeh lock hi kharab hai

Karan: Lock nahi tunhara dimag kharab hai (Preeta glares him) ghuro matt mujhe.. are andar aane k baad check karna chahiye tha naa tumhe..

Preeta looked away.. Karan turns her towards the mirror and raises his hand to tie her laces

Preeta widens her eyes and about to shout at him but stopped seeing him closing his eyes

Karan slowly ties her lace making sure he didn't touch her.. Preeta looked at him with pure adoration in her eyes

After he was done.. he opened his eyes and looked at Preeta through the mirror who was looking at him lostly

Karan clears his throat making her come back to senses

Karan: Mai.. mai chalta hu.. tum.. tum change kar k aa jana.. mai bahar wait kar raha hu

Preeta nodes and Karan was about to leave from there but he stopped at his steps and turned towards her again

Karan: Ekk baat bolu (Preeta nodes) I know tum mujhe bohot bada flirt samajhti ho.. par aaj tak maine kisi ladki k saath limit cross nahi ki.. aaj tak bina kisi k permission k bina usee touch nahi kiya maine.. mai utna v bura nahi hu Preeta jetna tum mujhe samajhti ho.. please try to trust me.. av av dosti ki hai humne agar apna hone waala pati pr trust nahi kar sakti toh apna friend samajh k trust karo.. and one more thing shaadi k baad v mai kabhi tumhe uss tarah se touch nahi karunga.. jab tak tum mujhe izzat naa do.. I will never make you uncomfortable babydoll

He said and left from there.. Preeta was standing there lost in thoughts.. whatever Karan said

She kept her hand on her heart which was beating very fastly... she closed her eyes and smiled remembering Karan's and her closeness

Suddenly Preeta noticed something and shouted loudly

Karan stopped the car with a jerk and looked at her shockingly

Karan (shocked): Kya ho gaya chillayi ku tum?

Preeta (excitedly): Woh dekho Ice cream.. mujhe khaani hai

Karan: Tum pagal ho kya.. mai darr gaya ki nahi pata kya ho gaya... tum sunn rahi ho (shooked him)

Preeta: Nahi.. av mai sirf apne pyaar ko dekh rahi hu.. dekhne do mujhe

Karan (shocked): Kaun pyaar? woh ice cream waala?

Preeta (making faces): Tumhara dimag kharab ho gaya hai.. mai ice cream ki baat kar rahi hu

Karan sighs in relief

Karan (mutters): Yeh ladki kisi din mujhe heartattack deke rahegi (to Preeta) Preeta dekho bohot raat ho gayi hai av ice cream khaogi toh beemar pad jaogi babydoll

Preeta (like a child): Nahi.. mujhe khaani hai.. mujhe khaani hai.. khaani hai.. tum nahi laake doge toh mai le aaungi

She was about to get down from the car but Karan stopped her

Karan: Accha thik hai mai jaa raha hu tum yahi baitho.. okk

Preeta nodes smiling widely.. Karan gets down from the car to bring ice cream for Preeta

After a span of 5 minutes Karan came back with ice cream

Preeta looked at him excitedly and immediately snatched the ice cream from him

Karan sighs at her excitement.. he chuckles seeing her eating the ice cream cutely like a child.

He starts the car and drove away

Preeta: Sorry woh maine dekha nahi.. byee.. mai chalti hu and thank you ice cream k liye v aur mujhe ghar drop karne k liye v (smiles)

Karan looked at her being surprised while Preeta got down from the car

She was about to go from there when Karan too came out of the car and stopped her

Karan: Preeta

Preeta stopped and looked at him

Preeta (cutely): Kya hua isbar toh maine tumhe thank you v bola

Karan (chuckles): Mai woh nahi keh raha.. woh actually tumhare face pe ice cream lagi hai

Preeta: Kaha (touches her face)

Karan: Ekk min mai saaf kar deta hu

He took out his hanky and wipes her face

Preeta looked at him.. he too looked at her at the same time and both got lost in each other

Karan cupps her face and tucks her hair strands behind her ears

Preeta looked down feeling not able to look into his eyes for more time

Karan held her chin and made her look at him.. he leans towards her

Preeta looked at him nervously.. Karan leans more and places his lips on her forehead.. kissing her forehead

(Their first forehead kiss 🤧♥️)

Preeta closed her eyes feeling butterflies in her stomach

Karan moves away from her.. Preeta opened her eyes and looked at him

Karan: I said babydoll.. I will never touch you without your permission.. byee babydoll

He waves at her and sits inside the car.. he drove away from there

Preeta smiled shyly touching her forehead and left from there
