The haldi function was held in Arora house.. all the guests and the relatives were gathered there

Preeran were sitting opposite to each other and a curtain was hanged between them

All were applying them haldi one by one

The guests were coming and was applying haldi to her one by one

reeta was getting little irritated as she never like sitting for hours in a same place and from last 2 days due to the wedding functions she had to sit at a same place for atleast 5-6 hours

Preeta (in mind): Uff.. yeh shaadi mai etne saare functions ku hote hai.. teen din se etne bhaari bhaari lehenge pehen ne par rahe hai.. etna etna mack up karna par raha hai.. aaj raat ko bhi shaadi k time etna bhari lehenga pehena padega mujhe (makes cry baby face)

Sudha looked at Preeta who was lost in thoughts

Sudha: Preeta beta (Preeta looked at her) kaha khoyi hui hai beta.. kuch hua hai kya?

Preeta nodes in no

Preeta: Na.. nahi maa.. kuch nahi hua hai.. mai toh aise hi bass kuch soch rahi thi.

Sudha smiles and nodes

Preeta's gaze went towards Shrishti who was coming towards her with her both hands filled with haldi.. she widened her eyes seeing her as she knew what her best friend is going to do

Preeta (to Shrishti): Shrishti khabardar jo tune mujhe bhar k haldi lagayi toh.. bilkul bhi accha nahi hoga

Shrishti (smiles naughtily): Mai toh lagaungi.. yeh mauke roj roj thode hi aate hai

Before Preeta could say anything Shrishti applied the haldi on her whole face.. she makes a crybaby face

Shrishti (chuckles): Kya yaar Preeta.. aise kya muh bana rahi hai.. aacha chal meri shaadi Mai tu mujhse badla le Lena okk

Preeta: Haa woh toh mai lungi hai.. bass teri aur Sameer ki shaadi bhi jaldi ho jaaye

Shrishti (wide her eyes): Yeh Sammy beech mai kaha se aa gaya?.

Preeta (smirks): Ku kisi aur se shaadi karne ka irada hai aapka?

Shrishti: Of course not (Preeta smiles teasingly) mai.. mai aati hu.. mujhe kuch.. kuch kaam yaad aa gaya

Saying this she immediately ran from there while Preeta and Sudha chuckles

Sudha (chucking): Kya yaar Preeta.. ky cheda bechari ko tune

Preeta: Maa woh koi bechari wechari nahi hai.. jab dekho mujhe chedti rehti hai.. toh aaj maine bhi ched diya mauka Mila toh.. waise toh aap usee jaanti nahi ho.. woh naa kami.. (Sudha looked at her) kam.. kam nahi hai bilkul

Sudha (doubtfully): Tu abhi kuch aur bolne waali thi kya?

Preeta (innocently): Na.. nahi maa.. aap ko kya.. kya laga mai kya bolungi.. aap ko mai aisi waisi ladki ladki lagti hu kya? (fake sadly) Mai naa papa ko bolugi.. ki aap mere baare mai kya sochte ho

Sudha (shocked): Tu pagal wagal hai kya.. khabardar jo apne papa se kuch kaha.. agar unhe pata chala naa ki maine unki princess ko kuch kaha hai.. toh bematlab ka jhagra karne lagenge mujhse

Preeta (proudly): Abb mai toh hu hi papa ki favourite

Sudha: Haa haa.. pata hai.. I know...ki tu apne papa ki princess hai.. jaan basti hai tujhme unki (smiles sadly) aur abb apne papa ki yeh jaan.. aaj unhe chhod kar chali jayegi..

Preeta (pouts sadly): Maa please aisi baate matt karo.. mujhe abhi hi rulao ge kya? Mujhe raat k liye apne aanshu bacha k rakhne do

Sudha chuckles shaking her head

Sudha: Tu bhi naa pagal hai bilkul

Preeta smiles looking at her smilingly

Karan's side

All were applying haldi to Karan and he was grinning

Karan (in mind): Bass kuch der aur..  phir Preeta se finally shaadi ho jayegi meri.. haaye.. ketni sundar lage gi babydoll dulhan k lengene mai.. The Karan Luthra ki.. the most beautiful dulhan lagegi

He came back to senses when someone smashed the full bowl of haldi on his face

He wide his eyes and looked at Yash who was laughing at him

Yash: Haa haa.. kaisa bandar lag raha hai tu

Karan glared him

Karan: Teri problem kya hai.. pagal hai kya tu.. aise haldi lagata hai koi.. tu mujhe haldi lagana chahta tha.. yaa mere saath haldi se holi khelna chahta hai

Yash: Kya yaar kabhi kabhi toh insaan ki shaadi hoti hai.. toh masti toh karenge hi naa

Sameer: Kabhi kabhi? Mujhe toh laga tha.. ki shaadi bass ekk baar hoti hai

Karan: Abee chup be useless... jab dekh apni useless muh se useless baate karte rehta hai (Sameer glared him) aur tu (To Yash) tujhse toh mai kabhi badla bhi nahi le paunga.. ku ki teri shaadi jo hone se rahi

Yash (shocked): Ku bhai mero shaadi ku nahi hogi kabhi

Karan: Ku ki tu devdas hai.. aur devdas ki shaadi toh hone se rahi

Yash (glaring him): Tu baar baar meri aise insult nahi kar sakta

Karan: Abb jo insult k kabil hai.. uski insult nahi karunga.. toh kis ki karunga

Yash frowns while Karan smirks

Preeta was going to her room when she was pulled by someone in a room

The person immediately closed the door and pinned her to the wall

Preeta was about to shout but stopped looking at the person.. she glares him and bite his hand

The person winced and immediately took his hand back

Preeat (glaring him): You bajarbatu Luthra.. mujhe aise room mai ku kheecha tumne

Karan: Maine kheecha toh kheecha.. par tumne kaata ku.. jungly billi kahe ki.. ketne jor se kaata.. aree bol deti mai haath hata deta

Preeta: You gadhe Luthra (Karan glared her) tumne Mera muh daba hua tha.. toh mai bolti kaise.. abb batao.. ku kheecha mujhe room mai aise

Karan smirks and pulled her closer.. Preeta looked at him nervously

Karan: Jaise ki tum jaanti ho.. ki aaj humari haldi hai.. toh sabne toh tumhe hadli laga di.. par maine hi nahi lagayi.. toh maine socha.. ki mai bhi apne hone waali biwi ko haldi laga du

Preeta was about to say but stopped when he rubbed his cheeks with her..  she breaths heavily and closed her eyes feeling him

He backs away and take some haldi on his hand from the bowl which he brought

He again moved towards her and pulled her closer applying haldi on her waist

A shiver ran down Preeta's spine feeling his cold hands on her skin

He moves his hands upwards and applied haldi on her neck

Karan cups her face and rubbed his lips on her face kissing there softly.. Preeta was breathing heavily holding his collars

Hey lahu munh lag gaya
Ae  lahu munh lag gaya
Ae  lahu munh lag gaya.

Karan leans towards her lips.. Preeta closed her eyes being nervous.. Karan smiles and kisses her forehead

Preeta opens her eyes and looks at him surprisingly

Karan (husky): I said babydoll.. tumhari permission k bina kabhi tumhe touch nahi karunga.. shaadi k baad bhi nahi.. now I think I should leave.. tumhe tayyar bhi toh hona hai naa.. meri.. The Karan Luthra ki dulhan bann ne k liye

He winks at her and leaves from the room

Preeta breathes heavily after he goes and chuckles shyly covering her face remembering their small romantic moment

Preeta (shyly): Yeh ladka bhi naa.. (realised something) par ekk min.. isne mere saath.. etna kuch kar diya.. par maine isee roka ku nahi.. pa.. pagla ho jaungi mai.. iske chakkar mai.. (sighs)
