A bungalow stands tall in the Sunshine Society of Mumbai. This society comprises of flats and bungalows as well. It's one of a kind. This bungalow belongs to Arya Sehgal, the top notch businessman of the city. He's a happy soul. His family includes his parents and his sister. Today, the house seems quiet. The handsome gentleman wakes up in the morning , and looks around. He's alone in his room, yet he could not hear the commotion outside.

"Why is everything so silent?" he thinks to himself.

His lips curve into a smile as he thinks that since it is his big day, his mother must be preparing breakfast in  the kitchen and his sister will come to wish him anytime. Yeah, his sister is on a visit to them, for, she is married. Her husband, Vineet Kumar is a businessman and is Arya's best friend. He freshens up and moves out of the room after dressing up. He's amused that his sister didn't come to wish him. He looks around and finds his parents in the hall sitting and relishing their coffee.

"Maa, where's Ruu??" he asks.

"She went back with Vineet. He came in the morning to pick Ruhana." His mother tells him.

Arya is disheartened. He checks his phone, there is no call from Ruhana, Vineet, not even Aisha. He sighs. It's his special day and no one has wished him yet.

"What happened, Son? Tumhe kuch kaam tha?" his father asks.

"Dad, you also forgot? It's an important day today. " he asks.

"What? Is there anything special today?" his father asks him, trying to be unknown.

Arya sighs. So, his parents forgot his birthday. How can parents forget their child's birthday. He agrees that Ruhana might have forgotten, since she's busy with Vineet. But his mom - dad too. He sighs and moves into his room while his parents are smiling coyly.

Singhaniya Mansion

A girl is sitting grumpily on the couch while the other one is packing a packet. The first girl looks at the other.

"This is not fair Bhabhi. He must be feeling bad." She whines.

"Aishu! This surprise will make him happy." a masculine voice fell in their ears.

The girl, Aisha, who's sitting on the bed, now gets on her knees. She looks at her brother and his wife.

"But he must be feeling bad.  We didn't even wish him. And you two are not letting me wish him." Aisha yells.

"See, I told you, Ruu. She'll whine for the whole day now." Vineet, Aisha's elder brother looks at his wife.

Ruhana is the one who has stopped everyone from wishing her beloved brother. She wants to give him a surprise and also, she wants something from Aisha.

" Vineet! Sabse acha gift toh Aishu ka hoga na!". She says.

"But that will happen only when Aishu will say something. Par wo kuch bolti nahi." Vineet says shrugging his shoulders.

"Tumhari behen hai, tumpe hi gayi hai. Sab mujhe sikhana padega." Ruhana says.

"What are you trying to say? Aap dono ki baatein mujhe samajh nahi aati." Aisha says making a face that makes Ruhana and Vineet laugh.

"Aishu! You should tell your feelings to Arya. No! Mere bhai ko itna wait na karvao." Ruhana says.

Aisha turns her gaze down. Yeah! This girl holds feelings for the brother of her sister in law, and the process is vice versa. Vineet holds her face up.

"Ab isme itna kya sochna, behna!! Aaj Arya ka birthday hai aur aaj tu usey bolegi ki you love him.". Vineet says.

"But agar usne accept nahi kiya toh? Aapka dost bahut khadus hai, bhai!" Aisha makes a face.

"Not for you!" Ruhana says and winks at her.

Aisha whines and Ruhana holds her hand, asking her to tell her feelings to Arya. She knows that her brother's happiness lies in Aisha. And all she wants is to see both Aisha and Arya happy.

"Arya ke birthday se better koi din nahi ho sakta aishu. It's the right time." Ruhana says.

"Aur Vineet, tum jao office. Please, tum bhai ko kaise bhi busy rakho." Ruhana says.

"Don't worry. I'll handle him. Tum sham tak sab taiyari karlena." he says and leaves for the office.

Ruhana gets busy in preparing for the party, the same evening. Aisha is thinking something when an idea bubbles in her mind. She rushes to Ruhana and asks for Arya's pics, the former obliges and sends some pictures to Aisha and the girl disappears in her room. Ruhana smiles and gets busy with the decorators who are working at her parental home. She also orders cake and is also eager to prepare Arya's favorite dishes.

"Sorry Brother! But I know this surprise will make you happy."  she thinks to herself and gets busy.

Arya and Vineet meet at a hotel. Arya is irritated that noone has wished him yet, not even vineet. He looks at her best friend.

"Vineet, are you sure, you're not forgetting anything?" he asks.

"No! We have an important meeting, Arya. Yeh meeting nahi bhula na, you should be thankful to me." Vineet says and leads his way into the hotel.

Arya is disappointed. Even Aisha didn't wish him.

"how can she forget. She is supposed to give me a surprise, but madam isn't calling." He murmurs in anger.

His trance is broken when Vineet calls him and both buddies get busy with the meeting.

The day passes in a blur. After finishing the task at hand, Vineet makes his way to Arya and asks him to leave for home. Arya is in bad mood today. He yells at Vineet, but Vineet takes him out of the office. They reach his home.

"Yar, hum hotel ja rahe they na!" Arya asks as Vineet convinced him to go to some cafe with him.

"come on in. There's something for you.". Vineet says and they enter in the house.

The house is pitch dark. Arya is confused as he can't find anyone around. He calls for his parents but noone replies.  He sighs.

"Yeh lo! Mera birthday bhul ke sab chale gaye ghumne. Mom dad bhi." he says.

At the same time, the lights are switched on and Arya hears a chorus sound, wishing him "Happy Birthday". Arya is amused to find his parents, Ruhana, vineet and Aisha together. Also, some of his friends are also invited.

"Ye sab kya hai? Mujhe laga aap log mera birthday bhul gaye." he says looking at the decorations.

Everything is decorated as per his taste. The cake is pineapple flavor, the one he loves the most. Arya is awestruck to see the decoration.

"Hum tera birthday kaise bhul sakte hain. Wo toh ruhana ne mana kiya tha." his mom says.

"Usko toh mujhe satane mein bahut maza aata hai." Arya makes a face.

"Haan! Tumhe satane mein mujhe maza aata hai, par jab tak main pareshan nahi karti, tumhe chain nahi aata." He hears Ruhana's voice.

He looks in the direction and finds her smiling at him. She's holding another cake in her hand.

"Ye cake Aishu ne banaya." Ruhana tells him as she places it on the table.

Arya looks at Aisha who nods in agreement. He smiles and his mother asks him to cut  the cake. Arya cuts the cake and everyone started singing the birthday song. The smile is never leaving his face. Aisha has a smile on her face watching him happy. After cutting the cake, Arya gets busy in talking to his friends. Aisha takes a chance and tugs on his hand.

"Arya, I need  to talk to you." Aisha whispers.

"Later, Aisha!" Arya says.

This makes Aisha angry. She tugs on his hands again, he looks at him and she glares at him. Arya smiles, he's in a mood to tease her. Ah! He's taking the revenge that she didn't wish him. Aisha smiles and turns to the guys, Arya is talking.

"Sorry gentlemen, I need to talk with the birthday boy.. May I?" She asks sweetly.

The men let her take the opportunity and Aisha pulls Arya along with her. She makes her way into his room.

"What is this, Aishu?" Arya asks, trying to mock anger at her.

"What? Arey i need to talk.. Maine tumhe thik se wish bhi nahi kiya." Aisha snaps at him.

"Wish hi nahi kiya tumne subah se mujhe! Aur maine tumhe sabse pehle wish kiya tha tumhare birthday pe.." Arya retorts.

"So! I planned this, okay. Along with bhai and bhabhi." Aisha says.

"par tum mujhe bata skti thi. Dost ho na meri!" Arya says.

"Bhabhi ne mana kiya tha. Unhone kitni planning ki. Aur tum bhi khush they na" She says.

"wo thik hai, mera gift kahan hai?" he asks.

"Gift! Wo toh main nahi laayi." Aisha says shrugging her shoulders.

"Very bad aishu! Ek toh wish nahi kiya subah se, aur ab gift bhi nai...kaisi dost ho tum. Jao maine baat nahi karni tumse." he says and turns towards the table.

Aisha smiles, there's where his gift is kept. Arya's eyes fell on a card. It's handmade. He opens it, and suddenly, birthday tunes spurred. He is thrilled, he opens the card, and the birthday tune begins to spur out, also there's a mini camera, which is connected in such a way that it is displaying his and Aisha's pictures. Arya is touched with the gesture. Suddenly, the words that flash on the screen, surprise him. He turns to look back at Aisha and she smiles. Arya replays the slides and pauses on the last slide. It's the one where Arya is giving a rose to Aisha.. The picture is caught candid and there's three words written on it.

"I mean it, Arya!" Aisha says, keeping her hand on his shoulder.

"really?" He asks.

"Han Arya. Maybe since I met you.. We did a few projects together, main aur tum London gaye they and then bhai teamed us up. You are different.. Han I fight with you, i tease you, but over the time I realised it. Even bhabhi says so." she pauses.

"I worry about you, I care about you. Tumhari pareshani se main bhi pareshan ho jati hoon. It's right they say." Aisha looks at Arya.

"I love you, Arya. I really do.". She says looking at him.

Arya is staring at her. He moves closer to her while she steps back. He holds her hand, and Aisha looks at him nervously. He smiles, and his reaction amuses her.

"Maine koi joke nahi maara, Arya.. I really mean it.". She says.

"I was trying to check if it's really you." Arya says.

Aisha frowns and throws a cushion on him,while he laughs.

"Sorry Aishu! I was kidding. This is the best surprise ever. Yeah, even. Arya holds the same feelings for her, but he's afraid to tell it to her. He always wanted her close and the moment is right in front of him. Today, she  confessed her feelings through her handmade card. Arya looks at her affectionately, and embraces her in his arms.

" I love you too, Aishu. I could not muster enough courage. Mujhe laga kahin main tumhari dosti bhi na kho dun." he says in the hug.

Aisha breaks the hug. She cups his face and kisses on his forehead.

"aisa kuch nahi hoga. I am glad hum sath honge.. Aur jab hum sath honge, toh everything will be fine." Aisha says.

Arya can't help but agree to Aisha. He pulls her in a hug again, the one which unites them as one. Meanwhile, the blissful moment is broken when they hear Arya's mom calling them and they move out of the room, hand in hand. It's just the beginning of a new life for the two of them.
