Sophie POV

Wow I had such a great day. I'm in a cave alone with a cute weirdo that looked like a murder.
"Why?" I let out in a whisper. Was I being held hostage? A thousand thoughts spun around in my head making me slightly dizzy. I leaned my head back against the wall of the cave, as my blonde hair once in a loose braid, though now completely messed up, fell on my unusual, strange brown eyes.
"What were you thinking, Sophie Foster?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know what I mean. Thinking you could be happy here, thinking you could fit in? You tried to ignore your past, and you tried to ignore the fact that you would never be one of them. You're to different to be accepted. What were you thinking? Thinking you would be happy here? You're not one of them. You're not one the humans. You're alone, and you'll always be alone. When you walk down the road you're not oblivious to the fact, I know you're not. You look into all those blue eyes, and your own eyes go into depression. You hear all those people and what they say. They say you're a freak, and maybe they're right. But I'm not one to go judging quickly."
He saw fear enter my eyes, and I felt my stomach drop. Every grim thought that used to and still existed in my head, he poured out the words. Who was he? I took a sharp inhale, and started to shake a bit, as he took my hand in his.
I quickly pulled away as he snickered.
"What's wrong ,sweetheart? Have a boyfriend at home? Or rather... Two?"
I found enough courage to muster he words, "don't call me sweetheart."
He let out another laugh and said, "would you rather want me to call you, hmm, Foster? Has a nice ring to it doesn't it?"
I quickly cowered towards the wall, as his once beautiful face, gleamed of a shadow.
"Wow, for dumb one you catch on pretty fast. I see everything. My vision never ceases. There's not a thing I do not know. I can see inside your brain, I can see through your eyes. I can see through the position of a lamppost and most of all, I have another gift as well." He paused as his eyes glinted of evil.
"Well actually, two more. And I'll let you do the pleasure of unleashing it. I sense your fear, you coward. You're afraid I know that and I do. So stop your annoying trembling and come forth.
My body moved on its own, as I took a step forward. I tried to restrain my legs from moving, but nothing had happened.
"It's useless, so don't try."
I was only a step away from him, as I spit at him. He easily dodged it, and gave me a smirk. Now we were toe to toe, as he bent foreword, as our noses met. With one hand he moved the hair fallen on my eyes out of the way and gently ran his hand through the strands. But his face showed none of the same kindness as his movements. Then he placed two fingers on my temple, then ran them down my face until he reached my chin, which he grabbed. I tried to get free, though I still had no control over my body. I clenched my teeth, misery and fear flooding through me. What was he going to do to me?
"Haven't had your first kiss yet I see... At seventeen? Were you, perhaps, saving it for someone special? Would be a shame if I took it from you..."
My body was no longer mine to command at the moment, though inside I was shaking.
"You know it's not too late for you to tell me where you hid the cache right now. I would've normally invaded your mind, but I can't find that memory anywhere. Plus," he said, pausing with a dirty look in his eyes. "That's no fun."
He leaned his lips towards mine, only inches apart as I realized that the coldness in his eyes were loneliness, and revenge... The sharp edginess, it wasn't evil... It was something else, something I couldn't quite place.
"You're not truly bad are you," I whispered against his lips.
He took a step back withdrawing from the grip on my chin he had.
I continued after that. "You're alone, too."
"Shut up," he said harshly. He removed the ring of a skull he was wearing, and a light started to glow from the ground shining on him. His hands grew in size, as his shirt ripped to shreds. His eyes turned from sky blue to a bloodlust red. No, his eyes were blood itself. I drop slipped from his eye and fell on the ground, as fear consumed me. His skin turned from slightly tanned to a greenish brown color, with a scaly completion. A smell reeked through the air, as saliva hanged down from his mouth. He then jutted his arms backward causing spikes to appear on his chest.
"That's right, sweetheart. This is why I'm alone. 'Why... Why me?' I always asked myself. As I child, once, in class my ring was removed, and everyone saw the real me. The monster. Ever since then, they were disgusted, they were afraid I was going to kill them. I asked myself over and over again why I had been the one born with such a curse...
"My mother, she had committed suicide after she learned of my other form. Don't ask me why, I thought it was stupid of her. Father was left alone to raise me, but he was also revolted.
"Those children always whispering behind my back? You want to know what happened to them?" He asked, as another drop of blood fell from his eye, this he caught on his finger. He flung the drop of blood on my cheek, and his bloody eyes turned more cruel.
"Yep, that's it. Their blood, I took it. I see the fear taking control of you more and more by the second, and you know, it makes me want to let you join them.
"Right. I thought it was a horrible curse once. But it's not a curse. It's a gift. The gift of power, you must know a bit about it, right?"
You say I'm not evil? Look at me. You see this? You're afraid. You're quivering. But you of all people have no right to be revolted. This is the real me, and that's why no one loves me. You're all afraid, you're all disgusted but you know what? This is true power. Yes, Sophie Foster. I am a monster. A monster just like you."

So that's the end of this chapter, and I hope you like it!!! Sorry I bet this chapter had A LOT of grammar mistakes and all...
And yeah, as you can tell I'm not in the most pleasant mood which is probably why it's this dark:p
So thanks and I hope you read on :)
