Stars. They aligned the sky, made it beautiful. Without stars, the world would be dark. In a way, stars are the lights of the world. They are looked upon for guidance, constellations tell stories. These stories are told throughout generations. The stories date back to the early 800's, and is changed to fit the time setting it lands upon. If you look closely enough, you can see that a certain star tells a story. A story about love, magic, and war.

"Adela!"
A young girl turned her head, her purple hair was braided and placed in her right shoulder. Her big blue eyes we're filled with wonder and mischief. The girl was no older than eight. Her name was Adela Da Villa, the only daughter of the Da Villa noble household. She was their pride and joy, they're future.
Her mother, the one who had called her, was a stern women. She meant business and never smiled. She constantly looked like she was about to talk you down. The woman who took status seriously. She had black hair that was always pulled back, her steel eyes bore into your soul. She was a woman in her mid thirties, and her name is Amelia Da Villa.
The young purple haired girl approached her mother gracefully, "yes mother."
"It's time to practice."
Adela followed her dear mother to the great hall. The two woman seated while the maid had poured tea into their white china. Her mother picked up her cup as a woman should.
"Hold it steady with a gentle grip." She instructed, "sip slowly, if you do it too quickly then you will spill it and make a fool of yourself."
Too late.
Adela had sipped it quickly, burning her tounge, causing her to spit it onto the table. Amelia sighed in disappointed and stood up, "that's enough for today, you're clearly not ready to be a proper lady." And with that she had left.
Adela looked down with a sadden gaze.
"Come now, miss Adela." The maid known as Emily held her hand out for the little girl, "let's get you cleaned up."
"Okay." Her small hand grasps hers as she was led up the staircase. After her incident with her mother, the young girl was now outside, walking through the town. Walking through the town was her only way to escape her house. Everybody looked to her as if she had it all, they envied her. Adela hated that, she never wanted to seem more than another, she wished there was no status. That everyone was equal, but that will never happen. The world is unable change the history of selfishness. Humans are selfish beings, they have one mind set and tend to be greedy.
"Stuck in your mind again?"
The young girl stopped to look up at a beautiful young girl. Her long blonde cascaded down her back. And her blue eyes showed amusement as she eyed the young girl.
"Char..." Adela mumbled.
The fourteen year old girl placed her hand atop her purple locks. Charlotte Roselei was the one person who Adela looked up to. Despite being cursed she still pushed forward to get stronger. To get stronger so she could break her curse. Adela admired her briar magic, because in a way it was somewhat similar to her own magic; plant magic.
"What were you thinking about?"
"This world is unfair." The girl stated.
"How so?"
"By making others stronger than most. It's not fair to seperate people based on status and magic."
Charlotte stared at the girl with amazement. She knew the girl was incredible, she was smart and observant for someone her age. But she was trapped in the shadow of her parents. Trapped in their expectations, even though all she wished to do was join a magic knight squad. But, because she was the only daughter of the Da Villa househole, her job was to marry into another wealthy family and bear strong children. Charlotte felt bad for the young girl, so all she could do was comfort her and be her very first friend. That way, the girl never felt alone.
"I must go, my father is returning from the Royal City today."
"Then I will see you soon."
Adela hugged the girl tightly before running off.
"I hope someone sets you free one day, Adela."

"Did you hear?" A man sat across from Amelia. He had slicked back purple hair and dark blue eyes that were empty, filled with nothingness. This man was Victor Da Villa, the head of the Da Villa household. He was a stern man as well, into politics and often visited the Royal Capital.
"No. What happened?" Amelia asked.
"Apparently a commoner had made it into the magic knights."
"What?" She asked in disbelief.
"He was accepted into the Purple Orcas."
"How could they accept a commoner? It's disgusting."
"He won't be there for long I bet, he'll be kicked out within the next month."
"Why?" Adela spoke up.
"Huh?" Victor turned his attention to his daughter.
"Why what, Adela?" Amelia spoke up.
"Why is it bad that a commoner made it into the magic knights? Now he can provide for his family."
"As a noble you do not stand up for those pest, they only plague this land with their filthy presence."
"Why is it that we need to be better than them? Shouldn't we all be the same?"
"You're just a child." Victor stood up, using the white cloth to clean his hands, "you will never understand, we are of noble blood. Commoners are beneath us, they do not deserve such respect. Start acting more like a noble."
"Adela. Act like a noble woman should, we are above them, we are proud nobles." Amelia walked over to stand besides her husband.
Their stares glared into her small form, causing her to shrink back in fear.
"Tomorrow we are all visiting the Royal City." Victor spoke.
"Why?" Adela looked down at her shows.
"We are meeting with the Vaude royal family."
"We are good friends with them and we will be discussing a few things." Amelia added, "they have two sons, you can learn a thing or two from them while we're there."
'I wonder what the Vaude family is like?'
