Hey guys! Hope you guys like the story so far. I'm going to be introducing two different OC's at two different times. I'll clarify at the end of the chapter, just in case if something is confusing. So INTO THE STORY!!!

Rift's POV

After that whole fiasco yesterday, I had gotten a two story house with a basement and four extra bedrooms with room to make more just in case. I already set up my room and gave Ethan a room in the basement. Oh yeah he's still here, but no one knows he is in the village yet. I would prefer that it stay that way. I have a feeling he wouldn't get along with Garroth and Laurence very well. Well I better get the eating room set up along with the "kitchen". I have no idea what that is, but I believe it's where humans cook their food. I just have Ethan douse mine in flames or I eat fruits. On special occasions I would eat some rare greens. I think these thoughts only to find myself deep within a darkness that feels like the Void. Wait what?! I didn't come here on my own. Wait what's happening?! I think as a scene unfolds before me. It's in one of the guard towers. Garroth is there. G-Garroth? What in Twilight's name is going on? Then climbing up the ladder is someone I know all to well. What?! No! Don't hurt him! I swear! I can't wake up as I am forced to watch the events happen.

???'s POV

Hmph. An easy target. He'll tell me where she is. Then I can rescue her from this horrid place. There is no darkness for her! They probably know what she is and is shining the brightest of lights directly on her! I won't stand for it! While I'm imagining what horrible things they could be doing to her, I quietly creep up behind him. Once I am close enough, I blindfold him then immobilize him before tying him up to a chair. I somehow manage a deep voice to sound manly and menacing. "Where is she?" I ask the guard while circling him.

"Where is who? And you better let me go before something horrible happens to you." Guard man asks trying to escape.

I hold his diamond sword to his neck, which made him stiffen. "I'm going to ask you one last time. Where is the girl you found? I know you have her holed up here."

"You say it as if she's here against her will."

"Because she is! I know you locked her up. Torturing her. Now tell me where she is for the love of Ghondra!"

"Who in Irene are you talking about?"

"None of your business blondie! Now tell me where she is before I shove this sword down your gullet, and rip this village apart, piece by piece, so I can find her myself."

"I don't know who you are, or what you are, but get this straight. There is NO way in heaven or high water that there is even a CHANCE that I would tell you where she is." Gaurd man says loudly, which startles me.

"That is your final answer and choice? To sentence yourself to death for a girl that is probably suffering right now?" I say pushing the sword farther towards his neck.

"I would charge straight forward into a Shadow Knight fortress alone before I let you ANYWHERE near her! At least I would die knowing that she ISN'T suffering right now." Guard man says while holding his head high.

" Hmph. Either you are amazingly brave, or extremely stupid. I'm going with stupid." I raise the sword high. "That will be your last mistake."

"No! Please don't! I don't want him hurt! He's one of the kind ones! Stop at once! I swear when I get there you better not be there! I'm not being held prisoner! Stupid. I'm not helpless you know." I hear a female voice go off in my head.

"You should've told me. I wouldn't have made my presence noticeable."

"I didn't know you were alive. YOU'RE the one who should've told me. I'm almost there get out of there just don't say anything. I want him to freak out. It'll be hilarious. I'll see you later."

"See you." With that thought I quietly slip out without a sound.

Rift's POV

"Garroth? Are you up here?" I say quite convincingly scared.

"Rift?! No get out of here! Quick!" Garroth says freaking out.

"Garroth?! Why are you tied up?! What happened?! Tell me right NOW!" I say acting surprised as I untie him.

"W-wait? H-he's not here.....Rift come with me. I need to call a meeting." Garroth says before taking my hand.

"W-wait G-Garroth! What's going on?!" I ask out of pure confusion. What does he mean by meeting?! What is going on? I can't tell anyone about the others or they might be killed. I won't risk it. Garroth leads me to the main guard station.

"Laurence I'm serious this time go get Lord Aphmau. I'm calling a meeting. Dante go get Brian. Hurry we have a major situation. Rift just sit over there right where I can see you please." Garroth says giving out orders.

"Garroth I'm not a child." I say defensively.

"Please I can't take a chance. I won't forgive myself if you get hurt." Garroth pleads with puppy eyes.

"Fine. Your eyes and are only reason why I'm going along with this." I say in defeat. So Red Cape is named Dante. Also there is another guard named Brian.

"Garroth! What's wrong?! Laurence said you ran in here with Rift looking terrified!" Aphmau asks in between breaths.

"M'lady, I am so sorry to bother you, but we have a MAJOR problem." Garroth states worriedly.

"We're here. Let's start this important meeting you need terribly." Dante says extremely sarcastically.

"Dante I'm serious. Someone incapacitated me and blindfolded me hoping I would reveal Rift's location. Unfortunately I did not see the attackers face. Also he/she kept changing voices making it impossible to determine gender." Garroth recites as if he were reciting it in his head.
