Hey guys hope you like the books new concept of choosing your own ship so throughout the book comment who you ship Rift with and I will try to put in some moments in with your ship. So....INTO THE STORY!!!!

Rift's POV

Zoey tells me that it is going to HURT badly, since she told me she's out of weakness potion and it would take too long to create new ones.

"Garroth, Laurence, I need you two to comfort Rift to keep her from squirming so much. Kawaii~Chan is on her way now." Zoey said, giving out orders.

"Um......hello? Zoey~Chan? Kawaii~Chan is here." A pink haired cat-like thing says after peeking her head in.

"Oh Kawaii~Chan! You're here so soon! Never mind that we need to insert stitches in places while she's awake NOW before she starts bleeding again." Zoey says while getting Kawaii~Chan settled in.

I'm scared......I've never done this before or experienced it.....I just want to go home to my family/friends. They were my family considering I was the first to be created. I miss them so much......I wonder how- Once again my thought were interrupted, this time by Garroth.

"So u-um.....h-how s-s-should we do t-this?" Garroth who was clearly nervous asked.

"Here I'll comfort her while you get to keep her still. Now go get a pillow." Laurence decided.

"Why a pillow?" Garroth asked confused.

"Garroth. Do you really want me to break one of yours or Laurence's bones? He means something that I can bite into to scream. Duh." I say sarcastically. Of course.

"O-oh r-right. I'll be back." He says as he goes to get a pillow for me.

Suddenly I realize, Wait. Laurence is going to comfort me?! I don't know what he'll do. He seems like a die-hard Casanova kind of guy. I'm REALLY nervous now. Where is- Of course my thought was interrupted as usual. This time by Garroth who was offering the pillow. "Thanks." I took it slowly from his hands, as I was nervous and terrified at the same time.

"No problem. Anytime." Garroth replies as he sits down by my leg.

"Ok! Ready Rift? This is going to hurt. Garroth try to hold her still. Laurence, you need to keep her from looking and comfort her. Most importantly, make SURE she stays AWAKE. Got it? " Zoey explains as she readies her sewing needle.

"Yes." Both of them answer unanimously.

Haha! Again really? Geez, they are like in sync today. Maybe this is how they usually are.

"Ok, Rift I want you to gaze into my beautiful pale blue eyes. Got it?" Laurence jokingly says.

"We all have our own opinions apparently." I reply jokingly.

"Hey!" He playfully punches my arm.

"Now that you mention it, I do see some pretty eyes." I say acting lovey-dovey.

"Really?!" Laurence says shocked.

"Oh wait those are Garroth's eyes. The icy blue looks good with his blonde hair." I say shooting down Laurence.

"Wait, w-what?!" Garroth asks with a tomato for a face.

"Apparently Garroth is part tomato." I say jokingly.

"Man not only you shoot me down, but you also get Garroth to blush bright red! Your good at this!" Laurence says exaggeratedly.

"Alright! Get ready. Set. Go!" Zoey says quickly sticking the needle in before I could react.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH! In the great name Twilight's darkness and Irene this HURTS!" I say almost screaming. Please.......please.......please.......please let it be over soon! I bite down into the pillow and try not to move. Laurence tries to calm me by making me look in to his deep pale blue eyes. My eyes begin to wander staying locked on his face. Garroth looks worried. Zoey and Kawaii~Chan are trying to not mess up. Laurence uses his hand to make me face him. My thoughts are only on his looks like I'm trying to memorize his facial features so I can't forget him. He has silky light brown hair, with eyes that hold a dark past full of pain. Why do I want him to share it with me? Maybe because of the chance that some people have suffered a more worse fate than mine. That has to be it. Oh please Twilight this HURTS! Make it STOP PLEASE! Please. Please. If any of you are still out there please. HELP ME! Give me SOME strength so I don't have to suffer the pain any LONGER! The last few thoughts are a cry out to the others. If they're out there they'll help me. Suddenly I feel a relief that feels like fire is burning. T-that means h-he's alive. Please come here. I don't want to bear this pain alone. Don't leave me without someone who shares my pain please!

???'s POV

What? What is that? R-Rift? I think as I hear a cry of help that's from Rift obviously. I can tell because it feels dark. A comforting darkness though. She's NOT evil. No never. She hated those who did wrong. I know because I KNOW her. I can't just stand idly by while she's in pain. So with that thought I summon some energy and take some of the pain away. Already injured, that wasn't a good idea. I fell to the ground immediately. I try not to scream as it would give me away. Magmus this hurts! It's for her though. Suck it up. She's in worse pain. I need to find her NOW.

Rift's POV

Tears are streaming down my face, as I cry into Laurence's chest. At least they're done. It's still HURTS though. Why won't this pain go away?!

"Shh.......it's okay now. No one else will hurt you anymore. I'll make sure of it. Garroth help me out here. I don't know how to get her to stop crying." Laurence says while I'm clinging onto him.

"H-how am I supposed to know?!" Garroth asks clearly startled.

"Here. Maybe if you hold her with me, she'll feel safe. Laurence teasingly motions for him to join our little hug-like state.

"W-what?! U-um...." Garroth quickly stutters before actually taking Laurence up on his offer.

W-wait! Is he actually hugging me?! Is that why my back is warm?! Oh this is too weird. Garroth hugging me tighter actually makes me stop crying.

"Huh! Who would've thought you actually did it! She's not crying anymore!" Laurence says victoriously.

"Alright Rift. We're done cleaning up. You need to rest for a few days. Go ahead and fall asleep. You need to rest." Zoey orders me.

Finally! I can go back to the Void. I love to think there. Before anyone could say anything else, I fall asleep instantly, so I could go think in the Void for a while. I think I land on Laurence's chest, but I don't care. I just want to be in the Void. Hurry so I can show you my new sanctuary

Until further in the story when you know who you want Rift to fall in love with, I'm going to put some moments with Garroth and Laurence here and there. I hope you all enjoyed it!
